Amazing crescent glazed donuts!! The best glazed donuts I've had anywhere besides a hot glazed from Krispy Cream. The crescent donut has a crispy texture almost as if it was deep fried golden brown (no grease, don't worry) then coated with awesomeness (glaze coating). This place has been a staple of the community since 1960. It takes you back and makes you wander what it was like when AK Steel was booming, probably a line out the door...back to 2016, the box is all but empty and everyone loved them!! read more

The best pastries, best donuts, and fast service every time! Our family loves Milton's. We were a little disappointed to hear that the smiley face cookies were no longer on the menu. Those were the children's favorite thing to get, as it always put a smile on their face. We're currently trying to find a second best on the menu, and we're trying all they have to offer. Usually, we stick to the basics... Some donut holes, glazed, and a few cinnamon rolls. We're trying to be more spontaneous in our choices and get a taste of the full menu. I really don't understand the hype over this place. I've visited a few times in the hopes that the last visit was just bad luck, but it seems to be consistently disappointing. The cases are very disorganized and lack product description tags; then the employees get annoyed when you ask what something is! The employee helping us this morning had horrible customer service: rolling his eyes and huffing around to put items in our box. When we asked for 2 bottles of chocolate milk, he responded with "get 'em yourself". I'm aware that they're drink cases are accessible to the public, but that comment was just uncalled for. The only good thing about this place is their cherry frosted cake donut; I've yet to find another place that has something similar. Sadly, I don't think I'll be visiting Milton's again anytime soon. read more

OMG I LOVE MILTON'S!!! I've been a customer for my entire life (26 years). My wife swore up and down that Bill's in Centerville was better but after 1 visit she became a believer!!! I hope they don't close as the staff looks a little old and I don't want the recipe to die! Cheap donuts, down home feel, sketch looking shop on the outside, but the most delicious donuts you've ever had. Don't get anything complicated, just go glaze baby! I live in Illinois but every time I visit family in Middletown it is a requirement that we go to Milton's for their glazed donuts! They are the best! Milton's donuts is hands down the best donuts made! I wish so badly they would open a northern Kentucky location. The red velvet with cream cheese frosting is probably my favorite. But the fall seasonal donuts are to die for! I can not say enough about this place. Their hours are early and you can usually expect a decent size line, but not unbearable. This is not the best donut in Ohio it's the best fucking donut in the world. This is coming from a chef that's has traveled the world and worked in some of the top restaurants in the Washington, D.C. Area. I've found a place here called zombie donuts that has good cake donuts for a local spot and 202 donuts is alright. Even one of the kitchens I worked at that happened to be 87 on the top 100 list made a donut that was good but nothing nothing nothing comes close to miltons. That glazed donuts is probably the best thing to ever come from Middletown. Any time anyone mentions donuts I bring up miltons , ive seen and heard about that donuts starting fights and arguments that's scary. read more

Where to start? This was my second trip and I was so excited to go...I was not disappointed! We had fresh from the oven chocolate frosted yeast donuts and they were AMAZING, melt in your mouth delicious. We also had this cream cheese one I didn't catch the name of...it was glazed on the outside and had this creamy cheesecake-like filling. I wish I'd gotten more of them lol. My son had glazed, which were just as good as everyone says, the best I've had anywhere. My daughter had an oreo one and said it was really good. My youngest son had the cherry frosted (the pink ones mommy!) cake and they smelled divine. He isn't a big donut eater at all and he inhaled them lol. He said in the middle "I can't stop, they're sooooo good!" The girl who waited on us was super nice. As a side note, they had cookies, pastries, elephant ears, and big Cupcakes besides the donuts.
