What an amazing restaurant! Super service, nicely decorated, and sparkling clean. I stopped in today for lunch, and I have never been here before. I walked up the stairs and was immediately impressed with how immaculately clean it was and greeted at the counter by a friendly face awaiting my order. I quickly decided that I wanted the redskin potato's because they looked delicious and yes they were. Here I am back at home and craving them already. I ordered the Cajun Panini and it did not disappoint. Wonderfully flavored with a perfectly crispy toasting. The size of it took me by surprise when it came out because it was twice the size that I had expected. Yes, I took half of it with me for tomorrow's lunch. Needless to say and I'm sure that I already have I am looking forward to my next trip to the Columbus area so I can stop in again. My first visit here came on strong recommendations, so I had higher expectations. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of what I was hoping for--though I'm still willing to try again. My lunch companion ordered the Reuben panini. It was decent and tasted fine, grilled nicely, but felt modest in size. It arrived on a bare plate with no side dish--not even a pickle. For the price point and this area's dining scene, I expected a bit more polish. It wasn't bad, just not memorable. I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Several issues stood out: Timing: My salad arrived before my companion's sandwich, which felt odd--shouldn't orders come out together? Chicken Quality: Looking at the chicken, I could tell it wasn't freshly grilled. It was dry and room temperature at best. While the flavor was acceptable, the chicken was dry/disappointing. Croutons: These were hard as rocks--clearly stale. Dressing: Okay, though not to my personal taste. Lettuce: The iceberg was fresh and crisp, which was a bright spot. At $42+, I wasn't seeing the value. I'm sorry I didn't think to snap any photos, but the presentation matched the overall experience--functional but uninspired. Bottom Line: Not terrible, but certainly not a "wow." I'll give them another shot, but they need to step up their game on food quality, presentation, and value to compete in this market. read more

This is now an absolute must stop for me anytime I'm in Columbus. The food was amazing and the staff were welcoming and enjoyable to talk to. We had the Rigotoni alla vodka, the Italian Gangster, and the grilled veggie sandwich and each was delicious. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu. We also had a couple drinks at the bar and they were great! The bartender made us samples of some of their upcoming menu changes and their bourbon tasting prices were some of the best I've seen! So to start off I've had several issues getting signed back in so today I have 7 reviews to key in. Westart back on May 2nd this place was on my radar for a bit, and let me tell you it's fantastic. I started with the Mortadella sandwich which has sliced mortadella, stracciatella, Calabrian hot honey, pistachio pesto and dressed arugula. Oh my this sandwich was good on so many levels. then on to Caesar salad which is huge, let me make a note here everything is shareable. this salad had everything a Caesar salad should have, but the star is the homemade Caesar dressing! ( note all dressings are made in house) After that I thought we could eat a bit more so on to the Vodka Chicken parmigiana. Check out my pictures I took half home so favorable, and the crispy chicken cutlet fried perfectly. I did bring a cookie home sorry no picture I ate it on way home, but believe me delicious.. Milo's Deli is officially open! I stopped by yesterday for their grand re-opening & it was fantastic! It smells delicious right when you walk in & the vibes make for the perfect lunch stop with friends, business or any occasion! The service is super speedy & ask the staff was incredibly friendly & provided great suggestions! These sandwiches are the real deal! The Italian Gangster Panini is a must! It has an ideal meat to toppings ratio & is a perfectly balanced sandwich! The Cajun Fingerling Potatoes are a hit too with the aioli they come with! The Roast Beef Sandwich was super tasty & the Lemon Orzo Salad is great if you're looking for a lighter side option! I will definitely be going back soon! read more

Franklinton has Some of the best prepped meals, as well some of the best fresh food here at Milo's. The staff are friendly and all come from working the catering side of the cooking department. always solid, never underdelivers. Bar has some good drinks too, but regardless anywhere in the spot is beautiful. read more

Beautiful cool space in Franklinton! Friendly greeting and some of the best tortilla soup I have ever had! Did the soup sandwich combo and had the mortadella sandwich which was delicious. Was lucky enough to get invited to a day on the town by a local real estate person @ Derrick from Columbus. He took me to this place and admitted that it was the third time he'd been there that week. High praise! Boy did he nail it, I got the roast beef which sat on a focaccia bread that was phenomenal. The inside was really swanky although the got it to go and ate it across the street. 5/5 would absolutely go back next time I'm in town. read more

Milo's Deli just recently opened in October. It is such a great open space restaurant. They have two levels of seating which I thought was unique. Also there is a bar area. They serve everything pasta, sandwiches, power bowls and some very tasty looking desserts. I tried there Vodka Chicken Parm. It was good and savory. The service was great. Milo's has reopened and moved to Franklinton. Location is the old location of Strongwater. Great renovation. It looks like a deli, and alot different from Strongwater. Smaller footprint too. We had the Reuben and BLT. Nice renditions of both. Lots of bread on the BLT I could have done without. You walkup to order and they deliver. Full bar. We will be back. Four of us met for late lunch Saturday afternoon. Ordered Ruben, Turkey/cheese, Chicken Cali n grilled Chicken sandwiches, sides of both pasta salads, tomato bisque, a slice of peach cheesecake n a slice of red velvet cake. We split everything. All the sandwiches were really good. Very hearty n quality ingredients. Bisque was excellent. Could pass on pasta salads, pretty typical, nothing extraordinary. Peach cheesecake looked awesome in case n would have tasted so but when we received it, it was still frozen. Red velvet cake was very dry. Would pass on that. We all agreed that overall food was really good, service great n place very clean and we would return. Bill was approximately $25 per person. Only problem is parking. Be prepared to walk a distance on uneven gravel. read more

Amazing little hidden gem I stumbled across while staying at the near by Junto hotel. The rigatoni alla vodka sub'd with a meatball instead of chicken cutlet was some of the best I've ever tasted! I'm a total sauce snob, birth this Sauce was perfect!!! AND I had ma healthy portion I packed up for later. Very cool vibe. Great music selection. Attentive, pleasant staff. Bella checked on me a couple times and was super sweet. Will definitely be back for desserts and beverages from the full bar. Go check this place out! You won't be disappointed. read more

Great service and my bowl was fresh and delicious. It's a beautiful restaurant as well.

Food was really good. I had the Reuben and Beth had the Roasted Turkey. We shared the roasted potatoes. Portions are big so we had left overs. Also the staff was really friendly and it was very clean. The Toffee Chip cookie was delicious. There is a nice bar. Beth had an Eagles Rare, so. It just average run of the mill stuff. New deli in the old Strongwater restaurant space. Space has been updated with full bar area and a great selection of sandwiches, sides, and desserts. Had the Mortadella sandwich on house bread which was excellent and large and a side of pasta salad which could of used a little more dressing but was very fresh. Nice staff.
