Every source had multiple reviews from credible reviewers (more than one review, etc) that La Playa is an amazing auto care shop. I took the plunge and brought my car to La Playa. I am SO glad I did. Rolando is honest (I know, I know...the words mechanic & honest tend not to go together), friendly and his prices are very reasonable & affordable. He went above and beyond helping me & giving me information and didn't try to trick me into buying services I didn't need. My car is driving perfectly! In Miami, 90% of the mechanics are not trustworthy or crooks. When you find one like La Playa, it's a diamond in the rough. Gamal was very patient when I had questions. He explained things clearly for me to understand. He didn't speak mechanic jargon, he made sure I understood. Now, I have the bigger picture of my car's health and worth. Gamal told me what was more important to address and why they were more important than others. Money wasn't his sole motive. He told me a time and my car was ready a bit early. He cared about his words. After shopping around, I was very happy with my decision. It was the best price I got and the shop is located in a very artsy area. The inside of the shop is small, but there's a fair size bench inside to seat and wait. The area is very cool, I'd recommend to go walk around. If you are not familiar with the area, you should definitely explore it. You can bring your tablet/PC/book to enjoy one of the quaint and eccentric coffeeshops. You can just eat or walk around to explore if that's what your prefer. I would have never known about this area if I didn't go to the shop. I'm happy to have found it. I'm all about customer service. There, I received great customer service, fast and reliable service. I will recommend it to anyone and I will keep going there, hoping everything stay the same or get better.

CBR Auto Care has been my go to mechanic for over 3 years now and each and every time I visit is better than the last. The level of trust they have instilled in me from their transparency and honesty is immeasurable and a trait that is really difficult to come by from most mechanics now a day. The staff is incredibly friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure your RIGHT needs are tended to. They don't try to oversell you in things you don't need, and are always honest and upfront with any issues. That combined with their competitive pricing is just unbeatable! I needed it done TODAY as driving around the way my vehicle was is very very bad and dangerous. He "test drove" it and said he could do it today, BUT ladies and gentleman he did NOTHING he did a backwards camber and still charged me full price. My mistake in all this was paying the guy in good faith that he would do the job correctly. he said I was missing the bolt to the pitman arm and that's why the alignment couldn't be done although he claims to be complete auto care... he didn't have an extra nut laying around so he can do the job I hired him to do?!?!?! he didnt offer... we needed to ask once we get the bolt can you align the vehicle? he hesitated and said yea yea you can bring it back. So now, as I'm driving home I notice the car is in worse shape than how I brought it in, after inspection we realized the dumbass "mechanic" did a backwards camber... prayed this man could redeem himself I put the bolt on and took it back.... my friends he did not align the car he stated how he is sooooo busy today I should just leave my car and that's just something I don't feel comfortable doing in a new shop I want to see how they handle my car... I too live in Miami I know how people are. Mind you I stated this from the beginning and over the phone I even asked for an appointment, (you know planning ahead) so moving forward, at this point it's my second time here him knowing he DID NOT do the job he was already paid to do, I told him I need this done I already paid you I'm under warranty I should at this point have priority even so with the horrible job you know you left me with the first day. He didn't even know who I was or know what I was saying he definitely brain farted, he said nothing gave me a blank face so nothing was done I decided to leave as he wasn't going to be an honest person or even a legit mechanic. This guy is a crook why else would he want me to leave my car over night over and over again. He hires people who have NOOOOO idea what they are doing, and he himself has no idea how to work on cars they simply plug up to the machines or remove replace, they are NOT knowledgeable AT ALL! I then made a choice to go to another shop one that again I risked but thankfully was honest explained what was going on showed me print outs on multiple points... even showed what these fools left me with. Photos will be attached, this way you can see what I was left with from CBR and then what I ended with after the new shop... Let's just say these people at CBR would have killed me if I didn't follow my gut and trust someone else. DO NOT TRUST THEY DO HONEST WORK THEY WILL ROB YOU!! HE IS A CROCK and subsequently dumb. Listen, I follow reviews and saw these thought ok just like you BUT NOPE those are reviews he must have paid for. It's not worth doing the job twice his prices aren't even that good to begin with, I ended paying double because of his incompetence.

I have dealt with a lot of mechanic shops over the years and I know how this industry works. Trust is not something that comes easily when it comes to car repairs. But the moment I started working directly with Joe, I knew I was dealing with someone different. Joe is the definition of honest. Straightforward, transparent, and truly focused on helping the customer instead of just running up a bill. The situation with my car was not simple. It was actually a very complicated issue that could have easily turned into a stressful and expensive nightmare. Instead, they handled everything with professionalism and confidence and made something extremely complex feel like an absolute breeze. What impressed me the most was the integrity. They explained everything clearly, walked me through the process, and made sure I understood exactly what was happening. That level of transparency is something you almost never see anymore. Because of this experience, this will not only be the place I bring my personal vehicle. I will also be bringing my entire fleet of ten vehicles here moving forward. When you find people you can truly trust in the automotive world, you stick with them. Finding an honest mechanic today feels like finding a needle in a haystack. This place is the real deal.
