I dined alone but was accommodated greatly by my waiter Jose. He was fully knowledgeable of the menu and broke everything down for me describing how the meals i was interested in were prepared and even down to the drinks-- he recommended the sangria and it was delicious as was the food! i had the Swai filet fish with shrimp and scallops over sweet potatoes. and a side of rice -- the fish was cooked to perfection and nothing was too salty. everything was seasoned well but in moderation. everything was good! and very reasonable in price for the portion size. i definitely recommend to anyone in the area or even if you're not -- its still worth the trip! Thanks Jose for your warm hospitality i will certainly be back if I'm ever back in miami. :)

The service was amazing. Such a great find for a casual dinner during our pre-cruise stay!

The only downside was that it came without chicken, which I wasn't expecting and would have made the dish feel more complete. Garbanzos weren't my favorite it has a lot of sauce. The restaurant was decorated for Halloween which was cool. Food-wise, everything was very salty and overpriced. The only good dish was the chicken milanesa, and even then, the spaghetti served on top was very salty. We also got the Molten Chocolate Treasure dessert, and it quite literally tasted like a protein muffin because of how powdery it was. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food quality, but the drinks were good!

It is located in a small plaza; I got confused coming in because the plaza next door is not connected. There is limited parking when it is busy, but I got lucky that someone was leaving when I was pulling in. I walked in and ordered the Mangu 2 golpes. It came with salami and cheese. This is the kind of place where you can either order at the counter or sit down and order. I ordered at the counter and then chose a table and sat down. One of the waitresses came and took my drink order which was a ginger ale and quickly came back with it. The mangu was soft, fresh, and delicious. The cheese was fried perfectly and so was the salami. I especially love the pickled onions on top. I devoured the whole plate and contemplated ordering a second one but talked myself out of it. Once I finished my meal I got up and paid by the counter. This is a perfect place to come for a quick lunch, I was in and out in 30 mins and the food was delicious and fairly priced. I will be back here, would love to come here for breakfast next time!

The cheese, and "mantequilla" aka sour cream taste fresh, and the maduros are always on point. They also provide the Cafe con Leche with milk on one side and Colada (expresso) on a little steel cup, so you can add coffee based on preference. They usually play Reggaeton on the TV next to the expresso machine, but its volume is gentle enough to get work done. The place is facing Calle 8, you will see a lot of movement around when facing outside, the noise seats outside though. The service is great. They have one server and food is often ready within 10 minutes. I will keep visiting this place, as it provides the consistency I expect on food.

Some Colombian restaurants rent in places where the lease is absorbed by the paying customer in the charge of food- this is simply not the case here This restaurant is a staple of the area and don't be surprised to walk in and hear patrons greet the staff as if they were regulars because they most certainly are familiar faces I ordered a bone broth to start with grilled steak and rice entrée and finished with a cup of coffee that was brewed to perfection This is the kind of place you go for quality food in a cozy environment Parking is somewhat limited out front, which adds to the exclusivity of it unless you're in a walking distance While I was there, I also noticed a multitude of Mobile dining orders, which lets you know plenty of people want with this place has to offer and after having eaten here today, I can completely see why: great food great staff amazing price points

The girl that answered was super friendly and told me they could have them ready for the time I ordered, which was great!! I got to the location for my pick up and the whole parking situation was a mess. I had to park a bit far, which was more of an inconvenience than an actual problem. Once in there, I went to the counter where there were 3 ladies working. I'm literally in front of them and about 4 minutes went by before any of them even acknowledged my presence. I'm the one that finally spoke up and said "buenas tardes" and they acted as if I had just miraculously appeared in front of them. I find this absolutely shocking, as most Colombian restaurants are so welcoming and polite. I ask for my order and they tell me to wait a moment. About another 5 minutes go by and they bring out my order horribly covered with some aluminum foil. In the car I grabbed an empanada to have a taste and it is all burned inside and out. When I got to my gathering I removed the aluminum foil and about 10 empanadas were in the same badly burned condition. These empanadas cost a little over $2 a piece! I paid $90+!! I understand Saturday was the Colombia game and they must have been swamped, but if you can't provide quality product, don't overwhelm yourself by taking on more than your kitchen can handle. The oil must not have been the right temperature cause the empanadas were extremely greasy. Luckily we were able to place them on some paper towels to soak up the grease and most of them were consumed. Everyone said that the taste was decent, but they were definitely over fried. I have no idea what their food and service is if you dine in, however I highly recommend not ordering out. There's much better Colombian places.

The play gym area and the dining area around it were very clean. As I sat there for lunch, I saw a couple of different servers come by to clean and sweep after the children. There are a couple of four-top tables around the area, and we were seated at one. Our server, Mariarosa, was so sweet and on top of all we needed. She really made the experience exceed our expectations. The lunch menu was varied and priced fairly for the quality of food provided. I ordered the fish and shrimp ceviche bowl with rice. The patacones served with it were spot on. So crispy and delicious! For a couple of dollars more, one can choose to drink a soda, coffee, and/or dessert. Our whole party was really surprised by the overall quality of the food and service. Coupled with the fact that the children were occupied and were able to play safely while we dined was another spectacular perk.

I was actually going to bring it up to the waitress but my friend suggested we just take it home and reheat it later which is a shame because the dish looked delicious but when you're dining at a restaurant you expect your food to come out hot and fresh..especially fried rice. The sampler platter was definitely the highlight of the meal. But the cold fried rice really brought down the experience. I prefer the Miami lakes location. I don't think I'd come back again.

I brought my sister because she loves mofongo, and it seemed like the perfect place for us to check out together. We came fairly early, around 6 PM, so it wasn't crowded at all. The only downside was that the restaurant had a fragrance that was incredibly strong and honestly a bit overpowering. It kind of took away from the experience for me. They don't have outdoor seating, but I genuinely would have preferred sitting outside in the Miami heat over being inside with that scent. Food wise, it definitely delivered. I ordered the churrasco mofongo and it was delicious. The steak was flavorful and paired perfectly with the mofongo. We also got the fried chicken for my nephew, and it was so good. Crispy, juicy, and a huge hit with him. Service was good throughout our visit, and our food came out quickly. Overall, I'm glad to see them thriving in a larger space. The food was great, the service was solid, and if they toned down the fragrance, the experience would have been even better.
