It gives very local mom and pop vibes, super homey and authentic like you're walking into someone's kitchen. It was pretty empty when we went which made it feel even more laid back. The food was so good but just a heads up they do run out of dishes throughout the day. We were hoping for moro but they were out by the time we got there. I ordered the palomilla steak with rice and beans and it came with two maduros which I loved. The steak was super flavorful and tender. We also got the pollo guisado and it was just as delicious, very classic and comforting. Service was really good and the food came out so fast. Everything felt easy and smooth. I will definitely be coming back, this is one of those spots you keep in rotation when you're craving real Dominican food.

Only 1 other person was in there and the initial server had a stank face Not sure why this has 4 stars stop lying yall made me waste my money on this for nada Better or at el Rinconcito

We all ended up deciding to make reservations at CVI.CHE 105. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint! All of us agreed this place left a huge impression and made us want to come back! As in, we came back here three different occasions every time we visit Miami and go on our cruise. Every visit, this place has always been busy! We're always greeted warmly and get seated right away. It's highly recommended to make reservations ahead of time! In addition, the service has been excellent time and time again! The menu is thoughtfully curated with small plates, everything from fresh ceviche, tiraditos, sushi, etc. The main focal point though is quality and they SERVE! They know what they're doing when it comes to good Peruvian food. Ceviche Orga de Mariscos, Mojadito Marino, Pescado a lo Macho, Pargo Entero, etc. We've had tried different things and not a single thing lacked any flavors. All of it was absolutely delicious! We left nothing on the plates! Everything we've had were fantastic! We'll definitely be back again to explore more of the menu! If anyone were to ask where to eat in Miami, this place is a key winner!

Both were good but the beef on the Lomo was on the dry and chewy side. The ambiance is really nice but the food didn't feel like it lived up to the stars on yelp and Google.

I ordered a cafe con leche, a Cuban sandwich and a Media Noche sandwich. Everything was delicious. Especially the media noche sandwich. I've had plenty of media noches in my life, but never as good as this one. Not sure what kind of bread they use for their media noche, but it was so soft, just the perfect amount of sweetness. The Cuban sandwich of course was good, but tasted similar to others I've had. I can definitely see myself returning next time we're in the area.

I've never had anything quite like it, except maybe in Caribbean Costa Rica, and there is something so special about the way they make it here. It is literally my first stop every time I visit Miami Beach. I genuinely crave it! And then there's the quatro leches cake. INSANELY good. You will absolutely finish it. I recently tried their iced Cuban coffee with sugar and milk, and it was such a delicious addition. The passion fruit juice is also fantastic. I finally tried the grilled lobster plate, and WOW, it did not disappoint. Honestly, you might need to walk around the block a few times afterward because everything is just THAT good, and you're going to finish every last bite. Puerto Sagua has been serving Miami Beach since 1968, and it is still standing strong, serving incredible Cuban food with so much character and history. Great service and love the open restaurant ambiance diner feel. If you're visiting Miami Beach, DO NOT skip this place. Come hungry and get a taste of this iconic Cuban American restaurant. And whatever you do, GET THE OXTAIL STEW!

The guarapo (fresh sugarcane juice) is refreshing and authentic, which is rare to find done this well. This place has the food down right. Unfortunately, the customer service ruins the experience. I asked for a pan con lechón and a pan con bistec, and the woman at the counter flat out said, "I'm not cooking." Barely toasted bread. But, good fresh bread. Not only was it dismissive, but it was also said directly to a local executive chef -- someone who knows and respects good food service. It's a real shame because the kitchen puts out quality food, but the lack of basic courtesy makes it hard to enjoy. My advice? Go for the food, but don't expect service. Order, take it to go, and skip the tip since service is non-existent. If they ever fixed their customer service, this spot would be five stars all the way. Ambiance ruined by customer service.

Do they offer anything other than pan con lechón? Have no clue. They don't need to serve anything else. Sat outside in the parking lot on a small table with mismatched chairs and sipped on a Country Club Dominican Raspberry Soda. Watched the rush hour cars drive by. Listened to Bachata on the very load speakers. Ate my sandwich which was half of a full size Cuban loaf of bread and enjoyed everything about it. Sandwich was loaded with pulled pork, drizzled with a juicy hot sauce and topped with bits of cracklings & diced raw white onion. The crunch and flavors were amazing. Parking is limited and yes there are ppl eating in the parking lot. lol. Take picture of your pan con lechón for is. Not enough to see here.
