I can't believe that we have forgotten to review this place. It is our Sunday, let's get a treat place. The bakery is epic. It has some unusual finds, and some I've truly enjoyed. I like the breakfast muffin the most. My next favorite is the cinnamon roll. Well it depends what I am in the mood for, I guess. Their breads are a great find too. The make a great matcha , and this time of the year, I like their lemonades. I love their servers, and the batista is top notch. It's a cute lil place to sit at, because sometimes I just want to eat! They have honey and olive oils for sale. It's a great place to just sit for a bit. Limited hours so check before you go, and get there early if you are wanting a selection or something specific. read more

Millstone Bakery is such a little gem. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is genuinely friendly. My friend had the warm cider, which was comforting and flavorful, and I ordered a matcha tea that was absolutely delicious. I paired it with one of their sweet cakes, and it was fresh and perfectly indulgent. Definitely a lovely spot to relax for a bit. I'll be back. read more

I've been on a quest for good coffee in the area. Unfortunately even the "coffee" places around here often just shovel sugar into poorly made espresso. This place is different! I knew when I saw a pour over on the menu chances were good. It was. This wasn't just good coffee for the area, it was good coffee period. True third wave specialty coffee brewed well. We arrived just after 12 noon on a Saturday. When we entered, we were not greeted warmly or welcomed in. We ordered the chicken curry salad & marscapone with blueberries toast and small coffees. When we served ourselves the coffee it was lukewarm. The counter person had our food in to go containers even though we chose a table at the back of the store. We had to pick up our own food from the counter as it just sat there - not a word was said to us that it was ready. The store ambience was okay, but not memorable. We paid over $25 for 2 coffees and 2 slices of bread with topping. While the food tasted good, I don't think our business was welcome or appreciated. On our next trip into LaSalle for shopping and sightseeing, we will try the visitor center cafe' across the street. We went in after Millstone to check it out & we were greeted with a smile and a genuine "Welcome!" by the employee behind the counter. We want to patronize small, local businesses that value us (and our $$) as much as we value what they have to offer us. read more

What a cute place! I went to visit a friend in Utica and they suggested this new French bakery. Inside smelled wonderful but sadly around 12:30 there were out of a few things. I decided to get a focaccia, ham and cheese croissant and a cookie. The focaccia was delicious and buttery. Just how I remembered it growing up. They had olive oil to tru with it and omg so good. The croissant was alright. I feel like it would have been much better heated up. But the cheese inside was pretty good. Cookie was good! They had chocolate chip and triple chocolate. The chocolate ones were so soft and good. It's like it melted in your mouth. The chocolate chips were I'd visit here again! Especially to try their French bread when I'm thinking about poboys! read more

Millstone Bakery is a great little place that was a great addition to the community. It has breads, croissants, cookies, cream puffs, as well as several other types of bakery goods! They've done great since they opened and it's definitely worth trying. It's currently only open a few days a week, and you have to get there early to get to try everything as they will sell out early!!! This bakery is amazing! I have been back every week since I tried it the first time and we live 30 minutes away! It is well worth the trip! I love that the menu changes daily. The bread is the best ever!!!! My favorite so far is the cream cheese pecan rolls! The croissants are the most incredible we have found. Don't forget to try one of the drinks. Great bakery! We noticed this place and decided to see what they had there. We selected a few items for carry out and they were delicious. Prices were reasonable and the staff was awesome! Definitely check it out, preferably early so your favorites aren't already sold out. read more
