Family run restaurant. Authentic Thai food. The pad Thai and curry dish was quite good. Lots of vegetables. Vegetable spring rolls were thick and filling. Decore is themed but not fancy. Big bright windows. Casual inside. The servers could dress up a little to add some class or ambiance. They could add some Asian background music as it was silent inside. It is in a strip mall with free parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would return.

Grilled chicken and coconut prawn spring rolls .. amazing delicious

MILLION THAI RESTAURANT is the BEST THAI RESTAURANT in Edmonton. The taste is unique amazing delicious. Not too sweet and not too salty. Perfect combination of the secret spices they put into it. Everyone should go there to eat. I will go back there again again again forever. We ordered see ew, coconut prawn spring roll and grilled chicken. The spring roll has incredible tasty unique curry taste yum yum and the see ew thick noodle sooooo yummy delicious with unique flavour. One of a kind. Love all the food at MILLION THAI RESTAURANT. Before 12 midnight the same day, my friend even texted me to thank you me for bringing them to MILLION Thai restaurant. And told me it is the most delicious dishes. I m glad and it is important to me that my friend is happy with the food and service I bring them to

This place has amazing Pad Thai. It wasn't busy when we went in and it's in the rough part of Beverly but there were excellent Yelp reviews and I know you wouldn't lead me astray! There's a great combination menu. We had coconut shrimp, satay chicken, Pad Thai and drunken fried rice. Everything had a great flavour to it and it came out hot and fresh. The decor is cute: bright colours, big paintings that kind of thing. The family who owns it is really sweet. They had their little girl in there and she wondered around the restaurant occasionally. But mostly stayed in the back. The cook brought us out a plate of cut up fruit for dessert which was very nice. The generous portions, good flavor, and nice owner/servers make this place a five star review for me. It's not fancy but it's tasty.

It's been awhile since my last visit to Million Thai. If they weren't located so far east, I'd be here more often but what can you do. East side residents, come here. Closed Tuesday's like (almost) every other Asian restaurant. Happy to see they still have the lunch menu available and it's pretty much stayed the same price. Lunch deal still good! The regular menu. So many options to choose from but that's typical. The combination dinners used to be a really good deal (last year, it was $30.00 for combo A, $35.00 for combo B and $65.00 for combo C). Still a fairly decent deal but it's annoying that they won't let you do any substitutions. We went with the dinner for two set A combination ($37.00) where you get a starter, curry, stir fry and rice. - Thai iced lemon tea and Thai iced milk tea ($3.50 each) - Money bags - Pad thai ($15.00) - Penang curry - Pong ka ree - Coconut rice If you ever find yourself in the NE part of town, Million Thai should be on your list of Thai eateries to try.

Totally missed the money shot, but it's dumplings, green onion cake & Pad Thai

I love Thai food, and I sometimes have a hard time finding a place that makes real authentic Thai food. This place is a real home run! Best authentic Pad Thai in the city. The actual restaurant is a bit sketchy, its in a rough area of Beverly, but the moment I walked in the door the smell was incredible! And instantly put my mind at ease. I might just order takeout from here next time. We had green onion cake, pork dumplings, Pad Thai, Penang curry, and coconut rice. Probably too much food for 2 people for dinner, but it was fun to have lots of different tastes. Everything was so good!

I have yet to find a good Thai place in Edmonton and I am SOOOO happy to have found this place!! I've been looking for years. The pad Thai here is so so so good. We had the pad thai, coconut rice, green curry, dumplings & beef cashew stir fry. So impressed with portion size. Freshness. The taste. It was so good! We ordered on skip the dishes and it was 45 min no big deal it came fresh and amazing!!! Definitely order the pad thai! So good!

So, we ordered delivery from this place (Skip the Dishes). I ordered the Garlic and Pepper stir fry, which is like my fave and never comes with veggies (I dislike cooked veggies immensely, hate the texture, will eat them raw though). The menu description states theirs come with snow peas. Not ideal, but I can handle it. I am not sure what I got, but there were so many veggies. I do not know if I got the wrong order or if they can not even follow their own description - I am assuming I got the wrong item. My husbie called - they refused to even acknowledge they could possibly even make a mistake. My husband scooted over there (we don't drive - got delivery for a reason). He brought the food with him! They would not even look at it, yet kept saying 'that is how we make it'. At this point. I had already gotten a refund from Skip, called him to tell him this, so he left. Will not attempt again. He left the food.

the cashew chicken stir fry... already dug into it before taking a picture oops!

Tried Million Thai Restaurant for the first time in-person and it was absolutely delicious!!! I had previously ordered food through skip the dishes from here and it was so yummy... I just had to go in person and sit down. The atmosphere of the restaurant was comforting and warm and the servers were really attentive and friendly. I ordered the Panang curry which contains peanut curry and peanut sauce mixed with beans, red pepper and carrot and broccoli. I opted for beef with this mix and it was divine. The second dish that I also tried was the cashew but stir fry with chicken. This stir fry was super tasty and it contains chili jam, cashew nut, onions bell peppers and broccoli. Both of these dishes were yummy especially with a nice order of coconut rice on the side.

Yes! Million Thai! I love this place! It opened up several months ago in the neighbourhood and it took me a while to get around to trying it, and now I'll certainly become a regular. #1) The staff are SO FRIENDLY. There is one lady who serves who is also the manager and she is the sweetest, most smilely, friendliest woman there is. She just instantly puts a smile onto my face. All other staff I've interacted with have also been super. #2) The food, of course. Both times I've dined at Million Thai I've had the Dinner for Two (Set A) - choose one appetizer, one curry, one stir fry, and either regular or coconut rice, all for only $30! In this way I've had the opportunity to try four different dishes plus two apps and they've all been phenomenal. Portion sizes are not too large, which is just right for me, but I usually don't have leftovers. I also ordered the Pad Thai to go and had it for lunch the next day and it was so flavourful and substantial - I was able to have two meals out of it. The coconut rice is the perfect touch of sweet - I could eat just that! #3) Like I said, the prices are very reasonable. For example, Pad Thai vegetarian is $11, $13 with chicken or beef, and $15 with shrimp. I love Thai food but usually don't go for it in Edmonton because I find the prices a little too steep. Million Thai is a great addition to the neighbourhood and the 118 Ave. dining scene. Support this place!

It's also generally quiet enough to have a nice conversation, if you're a talker like me. The service was quick and friendly, and they were very good at reccomending dishes! We found this particularly helpful for choosing what meat/protein to put in our meals, and we all agreed that they knew what was best. As for the food, it was the most absolutely wonderful and authentic Thai I have ever had. Every dish was flavourful, fairly priced, and came in a huge portion! We have never gotten a single bad thing there (and we experiment often), and we have never left without takeout containers full to the brim. The leftovers are always amazing, too. I could go on and on about how much I love this restaurant, truly. What a lovely place to dine in St Albert that I wish I had discovered so much sooner! If you're interested in what to try, my favourites are the Pad Thai with chicken, or the Pad See Eiw with chicken or tofu. I'm not a beef lover, but they make it quite well there I will say. The curries are quite good but some of them get fairly spicy, at least for me. The peanut curry is definitely my favourite! As for appetizers, they have these excellent deep-fried crab and cream cheese dumplings that I can never get enough of! Be aware though, there are lots of peanuts used in recipes, so be careful if you have an allergy.

Tried this place twice about a month apart, the food is great but there's inconsistent portions and service can a bit slow as it's a mom & pop restaurant. Seating arrangements are ok but can definitely could use a deep clean/upgrade - old time hole in the wall look, feel & vibe. During our latest visit, the restaurant opened up a few minutes late as owners were running a bit late. Service was slower as there was only one person attending 6+ tables that came in about the same time. The food tasted great but again was inconsistent with portions & plating. We both ordered the same Pad Thai Tom yum at the same time & one plate completely was missing mushrooms & lacked bean sprouts while the other had an abundance. The rice curry dishes are good but could use a much bigger portion of rice.

Service was great, very attentive crew. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, no gaudy or cheesy decor. Small , quaint restaurant (I think seating for about 40-ish).
