Excellent Thai, great service. A must to eat at, really great genuine Thai food . Place is welcoming and tastes so good.

Yellow Curry lunch combo. Pad Kee Mao lunch combo.

Popped by here as a spontaneous lunch decision one day and omg we were NOT disappointed!! The food was so delicious and authentic. We've been dreaming about it every day since. For the price, the portion size was very good. Filled us up just enough. The staff was super friendly and although english wasn't his first language, he made sure he helped us out and answered all our questions the best he could and overall the entire experience was amazing! Can't wait to be back!

I've reviewed here before and am saddened by the most recent disappointing order. We ordered take away, and the dish was not as described or as the photo showed (for content). I don't expect my meal to look identical to the photos, but when things are missing or it looks deceivingly different I feel mislead. I ordered the puff pastry and the number #44 pad kra paow. The puff pasty was not at all as snow in the website, in both size and appearance, and looked to be fried in old oil ad over fried (as per the colouring). The stir fry was missing the snap peas and peppers and had very minimal other veggies. I have attached photos of what I got vs. What was shown on the website

Real nice little place! Chicken satay was fresh and tasty. We had the panang beef... killer. The pad Thai was well prepared, my wife really enjoyed it! Would absolutely recommend this place!!!

The cutest ceiling fixture ever!!

My sister and I are in Edmonton for a conference and we found this gem on yelp. We ordered Pad Thai, papaya salad, and Tom yum soup! Everything tasted really fresh and delicious! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone! The service was also great which made our experience that much better!

The best peanut sauce in the city ! The red Thai currie and coconut rise are delightful. The server was prompt attentive and very pleasant. Defiantly a must try.

Went here based on my coworkers recommendation. Walked in and it was a lot smaller than I expected, I would guess about 20 seats tops. No wait for a table and I even came right during the lunch hour. They also offer take out! Ordered the veggie salad rolls (4) they were made fresh & served with homemade peanut sauce (which is delicious!) Then I had the Pad Thai with tofu, a big portion that was enough for 2 meals for me. Great flavours! Everything here was great! Fast, fresh & friendly! I will definitely be back :)

Crispy noodles with beef & green curry with pork.

I really enjoyed it here! We stopped on a whim because it was 8pm on a Sunday and it was open. The restaurant itself is cozy and warm - seats about 28 people if I counted correctly. Our server was nice but not overly chatty. We ordered the crispy noodles with beef, the green curry with pork, and coconut rice. The noodles were fantastic and different than what I'm used to. They were airy but springy when you bit into them - almost like wonton wrappers were cut into strips and fried. The gravy in the toppings was different than other Thai dishes I've had before too. It was delicious and a nice surprise. The green curry was also delicious, though the sauce was a bit runny. Both had plenty of meat and vegetables. The coconut rice was flavourful and fragrant, but a but dry. For dessert we had the sticky rice with fresh mango. It wss good, but I wish the rice was stickier. If you like spicy, ask for their hot sauce. It's a delicious jar of sweet chili sauce that had a pleasant but not overpowering heat. I debated if I could run away with the sauce in my purse, I liked it so much. Dinner with a Thai tea and a hot tea came to approx. $50 before tip. Overall, a bit pricy for Asian food - you can get cheaper in Chinatown for sure. However, the unexpected flavours and preparation made it different enough for me to not mind paying a bit more.

Green curry (D3) ($14.95)

This location is fantastic, from the welcoming, knowledgable Owner to the memorable dishes, namely the chicken pad thai and massaman beef.

Songkran Thai Restaurant - Pad Thai Tom yum with mushrooms galore

I've been there a few times with family, and I can say for sure my expectations were far exceeded…read more The restauant is well decorated, clean, and spacious, with plenty of room to bring large parties. It's also generally quiet enough to have a nice conversation, if you're a talker like me. The service was quick and friendly, and they were very good at reccomending dishes! We found this particularly helpful for choosing what meat/protein to put in our meals, and we all agreed that they knew what was best. As for the food, it was the most absolutely wonderful and authentic Thai I have ever had. Every dish was flavourful, fairly priced, and came in a huge portion! We have never gotten a single bad thing there (and we experiment often), and we have never left without takeout containers full to the brim. The leftovers are always amazing, too. I could go on and on about how much I love this restaurant, truly. What a lovely place to dine in St Albert that I wish I had discovered so much sooner! If you're interested in what to try, my favourites are the Pad Thai with chicken, or the Pad See Eiw with chicken or tofu. I'm not a beef lover, but they make it quite well there I will say. The curries are quite good but some of them get fairly spicy, at least for me. The peanut curry is definitely my favourite! As for appetizers, they have these excellent deep-fried crab and cream cheese dumplings that I can never get enough of! Be aware though, there are lots of peanuts used in recipes, so be careful if you have an allergy.

Tried this place twice about a month apart, the food is great but there's inconsistent portions and service can a bit slow as it's a mom & pop restaurant. Seating arrangements are ok but can definitely could use a deep clean/upgrade - old time hole in the wall look, feel & vibe. During our latest visit, the restaurant opened up a few minutes late as owners were running a bit late. Service was slower as there was only one person attending 6+ tables that came in about the same time. The food tasted great but again was inconsistent with portions & plating. We both ordered the same Pad Thai Tom yum at the same time & one plate completely was missing mushrooms & lacked bean sprouts while the other had an abundance. The rice curry dishes are good but could use a much bigger portion of rice.

We are always on the search for Thai food whenever we come to Edmonton and today was no different…read more We didn't want to venture too far into Edmonton and I looked up "Thai restaurant" on Yelp and Thai Corner came at the top of the list. Service was great, very attentive crew. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, no gaudy or cheesy decor. Small , quaint restaurant (I think seating for about 40-ish). We got there shortly before 2pm, was seated right away. It looks like they close at 230 (Sunday) and then reopen at 4 for dinner service. The server did come around before 2pm to ask if there's anything else that we want to order before they shut the kitchen. We appreciated that. Highly recommend them. We will definitely come back and I'll try the salmon Penang curry next time!

The food here was full of flavour and I enjoyed everything I ordered. Lots of yummy cakes to choose from too! Pad Thai $18.95- This was a really good pad thai that was packed with many ingredients. It wasn't too greasy and came with a small dish of crushed peanuts. Thai Chili Buffalo Wings $14.75- Wings tossed with Thai Hot Chili Buffalo sauce. The flavouring was spot on. The only thing was that the wings were undercooked. The owner apologized and took it off the bill! Thai Milk Tea $5.95- Yumm! It was on the milky side but pretty good Spicy Tom Yum Noodle Bowl $17.95- This included pork patty, pork meat ball, ground pork, gai lan and more. Loved the crispy wonton that came with it! Also came with a tray of sauces that you can add to it! Coconut Pandan Cake $7.25- SO GOOD. Soft and had real coconut pieces inside. Not too sweet! I think I'll order a whole cake of this next time I attend a special event. I'll definitely be back to try more items in the future. If you want to pre-order a cake, make sure to call them in advance. A lot of the desserts were sold out when I went at 8pm on a weekday.

But there it was, this bright green little gem. It's not as modern as other places, but the food was fresh and topped up on the buffet + even though not as big as others, there were still a few items I hadn't seen anywhere else. Their broth was good too - we tried the satay & tom yum and both were flavourful. They've been open under the same management for 11+ years! Covid has been tough - they closed completely when dine in was shut down and are just starting to rebuild business (I don't think they do take out but I'm not 100%). It was completely dead when we were there, minus one other table - and they still kept filling the food with fresh items. They kind of fall under the radar, maybe because they're not as flashy as other places? But they are yummy with super nice people - if you're considering hotpot, it's worth checking out! A few things to note: it's one of the cheaper AYCE hotpots in the city (I think it was $26 + $2 for broth - other places are $35-40). AYCE only. No late night or lunch special, the price is the price all day. Cash or debit only.
