Our appointment was originally just for manicures because it was at the end of the day. They over heard my daughter say she wanted to do her toes but since it was almost closing time, I told her we had to come back another day. Ann said they could totally do pedicures for us, even if it ran late. I wasn't asking for anything elaborate or complicated. I simply wanted a clean, professional manicure. The first time I had my nails done here, the shaping was uneven on both hands, and the polish was sloppy, with messy edges around my cuticles. I decided not to complain at the time and gave the salon another chance, hoping for a better experience. Yesterday, after showing them pictures of what I wanted, I was told that the nail technician had been asked and that they couldn't do it. I was honestly shocked. I asked if my expectations and standards were really too high for something so basic. The response was that they weren't going to be able to do my nails. I don't believe wanting evenly shaped nails, neat polish, and clean edges is asking too much from a professional nail salon. These are basic expectations when paying for a manicure. What disappointed me most wasn't just the quality of the previous service, but the way this situation was handled. Rather than making an effort to accommodate a returning customer, I was essentially told they couldn't provide the simple service I was requesting. After supporting this business over multiple visits and bringing my family here, I expected better customer service and professionalism. Instead, this experience made it clear that this is not a salon I want to return to. Please I am warning you do not come here. My sister also got her hair done here and they did a horrible job on her hair. They just lost 4 customers and I'll make sure I'll tell everybody this place is ridiculous.!!!

When Jessica looked at my hair, she noticed a lot of random short layers throughout that didn't really make sense (which I didn't even realize at first because it wasn't super obvious). She took the time to fix my side bangs and blend everything properly, and my hair looks so much better now. She also did my partner's hair and really listened to the inspiration we showed her. Jessica doesn't rush her work at all she takes her time and really polishes everything toward the end so it looks just right. The lounge itself is clean, cozy, and has a really welcoming vibe. Lisa (owner) too care of me. She was very thorough with my toenails. She worked on the ingrown toenail cuticles. She went back and trimmed for a second time. Her massage was very good. Nothing fancy just a shop but clean and items sterilized. I had no concerns. Owner is now one person shop so call for appt or may be busy as a walk in. I get my haircuts from Lisa (the owner) and she always does an amazing job! She's very friendly, patient, and detailed-oriented, making sure my hair always comes out to my liking. I do want to note that Lisa is the only person currently running the shop, so appointments are definitely recommended. Although walk-ins do work as well, I find that going on off-hours such as Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons is usually the least busy. All in all, I wouldn't let this deter you as she does a wonderful job multi-tasking between customers and taking care of each person's needs. On a final note, as seen in my previous Yelp reviews, I am generally reluctant to tip; however, I am willing to make an exception here lol, especially since her prices are pretty fair compared to most places I've been (typically pay $20-25 as opposed to $40 elsewhere).
