We heard about them at the Bridal Show at the fair in January and had kept them in mind to book for our bridal party transportation (one 16 passenger bus) from Fayetteville (where our church is) to Oneida (where our venue is). This is a 25 minute drive. My fiance first spoke with the owner last week and then yesterday and was quoted $1250 for this trip. When he called to book today, the owner said he was busy and to call his assistant Terry. My fiance called Terry and told her the quoted price that was given to us BY THE OWNER, Joe. Terry literally berated my fiance and told him that "no way that is the price because it's outside the area". She told us it would be $1550. She was extremely condescending and literally laughed at my fiance. We cannot believe that this person would be working with customers. My fiance told Terry that the owner had quoted him this price and he just wanted to book it, she literally refused to honor what the owner told us. I'm sorry, but that's just a gross way to deal with clients. I don't know if the owner made a mistake but if so that is not the way it should be handled. We ended up booking someone else just now, so Terry lost them our business. I will be telling all my friends who are getting married this year and next in the area to AVOID this place. Gross.

Had a fabulous time on the 12:15 lunch tour with a group of friends. Annette, the owner was on…read moreboard as well as the Captain (a teacher at Soule Rd School) and an assistant. As we left the dock and headed out into the SENECA River, Annette gave us a history of the Erie ( now called "Barge") canal. Our captain contributed a few stories to make it even more interesting. As we glided down the River on our pontoon boat, we saw sea birds both at the rivers edge and in flight. As we got ready to go through the Baldwinsville lock, the lock tender gave us some info on the equipment. This is the oldest operating lock in the system. After going through the lock, we stopped and picked up lunch from a man working for the Angry Smokehouse. We had a delicious lunch on the return trip. The crew couldn't be more gracious and we had a blast. There is a bar on board the boat, which made trip even better! Check out the website for the list of tours available. Garbage is picked up at every site every day, great walking trails, fishing ponds and a nice pool/hot tub area. Each year we book a site in August for the weekend when they do the flashlight candy hunt for the kids. The kids absolutely love it and the staff makes sure that no child leaves without candy. Being able to hop on a shuttle or take a short drive to the casino is a plus if you're into that too! Nice restaurants and venues there for rainy days. The only thing that even borders on a negative is the price, which is higher than a lot of other campgrounds, but you really do get what you pay for, and that is especially true here. Barring some catastrophic change, we will be back many more times in the future!
