I was afraid there was going to be a long wait, but I went on a Friday morning & there was no line!! I loved the lemon ricotta pancakes!!! I'd probably return again to try other things on their menu! All of the employees were so kind as well! FEATURED Lemon Ricotta Pancake Breakfast Combo ($24) Huevos a la Mexicana ($20) Chilaquiles ($19) -- Plus added $7 for Machaca Beef even though the menu said it would be $4

Went on a very grueling hike, so we came to Millie's Cafe for a well-earned reward of a meal! My mind had been thinking of a breakfast burrito for hours, so naturally I ended up order the Famous Breakfast Burrito with my choice of meat beating Sausage Link. The burrito was really well-constructed. Very well balanced between the eggs and crispy tater tots! Was also a bit bemused that they didn't have hash browns on the weekend, but ordered some tasty Rosemary Potatoes instead. Staff here were great. Really nice to us even though the restaurant was about to wrap up for the day. Definitely worth the visit, need to check out some of the other menu items.

The food was delicious. I enjoyed my breakfast burrito but next time I want to get the slutty bun. The Arnold Palmer was delicious as well. The service was great and I like how attentive the Pasadena location is with the clientele. The ambiance is pretty small, I wish there was bigger space because it is a bit of everyone on top of everyone. Overall the food is delicious and the service is great if you are ever in Pasadena step on by.

Updating our review to 5 stars (: pistachio latte is delicious. The chilaquiles Benedict was also delicious. Service was quick and good. Will definitely be back

Revisited with my wife for another brunch occasion and we might be more impressed this time than our previous visit. It was packed as usual and we got on the Yelp waitlist about 15 minutes before arrival which is always recommended. After being seated, we placed our order quickly and our food came out more quickly than our previous visit which is a great sign to see especially since they're busy all the time. This time around, I got the California Omelet and my wife got the Maynard Scramble. Both were absolutely phenomenal, potatoes are perfectly cooked and eggs were perfect as well. Both dishes aren't too filling as well which is great. Portions that they hand out are always big so prepare for a big FEAST. Absolutely love coming to Millies, can't wait for the next visit to try other menu items.

Parking: Millie's Cafe is located on the corner of Hill and Washington. There is usually street parking on Hill. Exterior: There are tables set up on the sidewalk for outdoor dining. Interior: The interior was pretty crowded. The tables were very close together so it was also very noisy as people try to talk over each other. Service: It usually takes me about 30-45 minutes to get seated. The waitlist is pretty long and you can sign up ahead on Yelp. Food: The food is pretty good. I have tried several omeletes. The Denver omelet is probably my favorite. They are loaded with ingredients and the egg is usually cooked perfectly unlike some places where it just ends up dry or burnt. Their pancakes are also great. They are made to order and extremely fluffy. I will definitely be back for more.

Love this place! Love that there is plenty of free parking on the street. I LOVE their food. New favorite: blueberry French toast. A new MUST. Their Benedicts are also bomb! I also really love all the choices for coffee and drinks here. Service is wonderful. I love how the entire crew tag teams the restaurant. Our main server was Joey, but literally everyone from other servers to the food runners were fantastic and super attentive. The inside is nice, but we enjoyed the immediate outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day out, so à la Fresca was the only right choice! I've been here before and knew this place was awesome, so I was happy to share this place with my friend who has never been here. Definitely coming back again!

Stopped by Millie's Cafe and overall had a solid experience. The portions are definitely on the bigger side, which is always a plus, though the food itself was just okay. We ordered the country fried steak and the chicken & waffles benedict--the benedict was pretty decent and satisfying, but the country fried steak was a bit bland and could've used more flavor. The Blueberry Oat Matcha wasn't overly sweet, which I really liked--it had a nice balance. Service was great--our servers were attentive and helpful throughout. Just a heads up, it gets packed pretty quickly, so I'd recommend going early. I'd come back to try their chilaquiles next time.

I came to visit this spot after a morning of hiking. There is a parking lot in the back , however it was full at the time I went so I parked on the street by a church. I was seated outside by the street , tables were a bit small & close, but still cozy. Staff was friendly & open to questions. I went with the Eleanor special which was a 10/10 , the potatoes were made with rosemary & seasonings. I also had an iced matcha latte with a pump of vanilla. There are other sweeteners that can be added as well which was a plus. I would love to come back to try their waffles !

Food: Sunday "brunch" here was incredible (it was 2 pm haha) We ordered many dishes however the lemon ricotta pancakes were absolutely the standout. What really impressed me was their vegan menu; it's much more extensive than most cafes offer, with plenty of options that don't feel like an afterthought Service: Great overall! The host was warm and welcoming and even though it was a busy Sunday with a 30 to 40 minute wait, we were seated quickly once our table was ready. We sat outside and while it's not a true true patio (tables along the sidewalk), the gorgeous weather made it feel special anyway Atmosphere: Such a chill, cute vibe. It's easy to see why locals love this place. We'll definitely be back!!

One of favorite breakfast spots in Pasadena for sure! A lot of people feel the same way, it's always a packed house and the line is long. Highly suggest joining their waitlist. The staff are accommodating and nice. You can see how the place operates so smoothly. They all work really well together and are friendly people. The food is tasty and comforting. Coffee drinks are great as well! They have seating inside and outside along the perimeter of the building. It's got a nice old diner feel to it. Come try em out for yourself! Your belly will thank you!

I've always heard Millie's was the place for brunch. Our son had a long weekend off school, so we went out on a Friday to spend some time with him and decided to come here for brunch. I read online that their Silverlake location is smaller with first-come, first-served seating, while the Pasadena location has both indoor and outdoor seating. It's highly recommended to use the Yelp waitlist, as the lines can get long. We joined the waitlist before we arrived and it said we were fourth in line, but we were quickly seated at a table of our choice without waiting, which was nice. They provide water and glasses at the table, along with standard diner condiments. I started with a coffee ($5.00), which was refillable, so you definitely get your money's worth. They refilled it twice for us. I had a lot of energy when we left! Our son wanted pancakes but couldn't decide. We ordered two single pancakes: an original ($6) and a blueberry pancake ($8.00). I tried a bite of the blueberry pancake, and it was a solid, fluffy pancake. My wife ordered two eggs, hash browns with her choice of meat and toast. She chose sausage and sourdough toast. The sausages were large and had a maple flavor, which we both liked and would order again. The hash browns were excellent, and our son ended up eating my wife's, and she ended up with his pancakes, much to her chagrin. Being the nice mother she is, she was happy to let our son eat her food. I ordered one of their specialties, the Devil's Mess, and it was a bit underwhelming, to be honest. I liked the sour cream and guacamole on top, but it didn't have enough spice for me. I asked for some hot sauce and salsa. There's a $1 up-charge for a small container of salsa, which was pretty good and exactly what I needed for my Devil's Mess. You can choose between home fries or hash browns, and I went with the home fries, which were great. I wouldn't order the Devil's Mess again, but I'm glad I tried it. We will definitely be back and order two plates of what my wife gets so our son and she can both have the food they want. I'll probably try the Chicken Fried Steak next time. It's one of my all-time favorite dishes, and I'm kicking myself for not ordering it!

That level of attention to detail isn't something you expect from every brunch café, and it definitely showed in the final cup. The cortado was well executed. The milk was smoothly integrated with the espresso, creating a balanced body that held together throughout the drink instead of separating after a few sips. It was served in the proper glass with clean presentation and solid latte art. The temperature was slightly hotter than my personal preference, which is understandable in a brunch setting, but overall it was a great cortado and far better than what many brunch cafés serve. The pain au chocolat was outstanding as well and a perfect pairing with the cortado. The service made the visit even better. Despite its popularity, I find the food to be fairly average. Much of it tastes like it's made from standard commercial food-service ingredients rather than prepared fresh. On the positive side, the prices are reasonable, the dining room has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff is generally attentive. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood breakfast restaurant - nothing particularly memorable, but nothing especially disappointing either. The Reyn Special - 3/5. A classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana bread. The eggs and bacon are fairly average, although the bacon tends to be overcooked and dry. The standout is the hash browns. They're cooked with a nicely browned, crispy crust while still remaining fairly moist inside. The real highlight, however, is the banana bread. It tastes homemade and is easily the best item on the plate. Crepes - 1/5. This dish comes as two separate plates: one with the ricotta-filled crepes and another with eggs, sausage, bacon, and your choice of fries or tater tots. Unfortunately, the crepes are the weakest part of the meal. The ricotta-filled crepes don't taste freshly made and instead resemble a pre-made food-service product that's simply reheated before serving. Both the crepe and ricotta filling have a generic flavor with noticeable artificial notes. You can choose either banana or strawberry topping, but both sauces taste overly processed and artificial. The accompanying breakfast plate is noticeably better. I chose the tater tots, which were well prepared - crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside. The bacon, however, was again overcooked and dry, making it tough to chew. The sausage was acceptable but unremarkable. Scrambled Supreme - 2.5/5. Despite the name, this is essentially an omelet. The eggs have a mild, neutral flavor, and the fillings are okay but don't stand out. Coffee - 2/5. The coffee is classic diner coffee in every sense. It's somewhat watery, heavily roasted, and finishes with a flat, slightly bitter aftertaste. It's neither particularly good nor particularly bad - just standard coffee that does the job. Overall, The Reyn succeeds as a comfortable, affordable breakfast spot with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. While the food is average, and several dishes rely on ingredients that taste commercially prepared rather than freshly made.

The sauced up lettuce side that it came with, complimented the lamb really well. -Nasi Goreng w/ Wagyu Ribeye Cap: 4/5 This Indonesian fried rice was good, but the Wagyu meat kind of tasted a bit odd, but maybe that's just me because my bf loved it. -Singaporean Chili Lobster: 3.5/5 I wasn't really a fan of this since the based flavor had such a strong tomato/ketchup taste... When I made the reservation, I politely requested if there was a way for them to make the bday celebration special, and I'm glad I wrote that because at the end of our meal, our server brought out a Pandan Crème Brulee: 5/5 !!! It was very delicious that we devoured it all! Overall I will def be back to try the oxtail dumplings that I saw people constantly ordering. Note, there is a 20% tip charge that automatically gets added to your check!

Portion sizes are great, and definitely filling. Service is a bit slow, and the food does take a while to come out.

This is like my 10th time coming here and I always come back for the tacos !!!…read more Steak tacos are delicious! This time added a few more items to the menu so I wanted to share my thoughts on the food especially cause I didn't see these items on the menu so I figured I try something new. Brussels sprouts are good , might be to lime/lemonie but I ordered mine extra crispy. Side of Mac n cheese , pretty cheesy , can't go wrong. And the chicken soup mmm wasn't the best. Basic soup. Nothing crazy , not enough chicken and needs more flavor. Don't recommend it. They have this moz ball mmm wasn't my favorite. Kinda makes the soup look weird. Idk. My opinion Everything else is great. The place is great, they have a rooftop patio too really nice and vibes are great. Service is great always!!

I think reservations are definitely recommended. The rooftop patio seating was closed last night. Lesson learned: even if reservations aren't easily made online, it's worth a phone call ahead of time to try to make one. Beautiful inside with two separate downstairs areas and one upstairs. Don't approve of the large TVs in the bar area but the sound was off at least. Once we were seated (and by the way, the hostesses were super friendly and hospitable), Joe was our helpful server. We ordered a Last Word and a Negroni with brussel sprouts to start with. The drinks were ok, the brussel sprouts were super tasty and well charred. Next we ordered the pork chop and chicken skillet. I wanted to order the peri peri chicken but they were out of it. We also ordered a boulevardier and espresso martini. The pork and chicken were so tender and flavorful! My espresso martini tasted like a smooth liquid dessert . Very loud inside. My husband could barely hear me. Curious about the rooftop seating so maybe a reservation for up there next time, maybe I'll get to try the peri peri chicken. Highly recommend!
