We found out that we didn't need pest control. We learned that the insect swarms were boxelder bugs which don't bite and won't harm our buildings. I was told that the bugs will eventually fly away to maple and ash trees. Thanks for replying to our request for help. read more

We were having a ceiling fan installed and the electrician found a hornet's nest in our attic. I messaged Miller's Pest Control about the problem and they called back within a few hours. They quoted a very reasonable price and scheduled us for the following week. Their technician, Mr. Beckner, came out as scheduled and sprayed the hornets' nest. The hornets were gone within 48 hours and never returned. Miller's and Mr. Beckner both called back to check on the issue and see if it had been resolved. This company is very responsive and very professional. They offer an excellent value for the money. Miller's really went above and beyond. This summer we have had a bad problem with yellow jacket bees, walking our property I found 3 ground nest an a highly active spot under the eves at the siding edge. I called Millers Pest Control and was able to schedule an appointment within a few days. Danny came out and sprayed the entire house, all the eves and around the windows, he also hit the 3 ground nest I pointed out. He told me to keep my eyes on the spots I was concerned with and if the activity was not gone to call back. I watched the spots everyday and I noticed the the eves were mostly clear, but 1 of the ground nest continued to have lots of bees coming and going, so I called back, and they were happy to send out another technician in a few days, free of a second charge. Beckner, like Danny, showed up right at the beginning of the time window I was given, he could not have been more pleasant and eager to hear my concerns, and went right to work. He made sure the ground nest was completely clear of yellow jackets, he hit it once, then sprayed all the windows and eves where we had a little activity still, and then went back and opened up the ground nest and sprayed it a second time for good measure. I could not be happier with the response from my first call, to the scheduling time line, the technicians demeanor and explanations of what they were using, how it worked and most importantly the results. Millers Pest control went above and beyond my expectations. I called Millers Pest Control because I had an issue with ear wigs. Overall, I had a fantastic experience hiring this company. They called me back quickly and the person who booked my service was very kind, she answered all my questions, and booked my service right away. Then Dan, the "snake man," showed up for the service and he was amazing. He was friendly and thorough. He sprayed and put down traps. And then he did something completely unexpected. He offered to come over on his day off to fill a few access points in my basement that he believed was the source of my bug problem. I asked him how I could compensate him and he said it was no charge. This has never happened before. This level of kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile was incredible. I highly recommend Millers Pest Control. We had mice or some type of critter in our house and Kyle came by 3 times to set and change the traps as well as fill the holes in our house to where they were entering in from the outside. We haven't had an issue since. We paid a one time fee for the first time and his time to fill the holes and come back another 2 times to check and refill the traps was included! When I first called, I was given a diagnosis (blow flies) over the phone. Admittedly, being stressed about leaving for two weeks and worried that the issue would persist, I gave a bad review at first. But Millers Pest Control immediately rectified the situation. Laurie scheduled me for the next day to have an inspection done. Dave did a thorough inspection and (in my opinion) went above and beyond to try and determine where the source of the issue was coming from and was very professional. I even received a discount for the initial confusion/phone diagnosis. They truly care about their reputation and along with that comes truly caring about their customers. These days, customer service like that is hard to find. Most companies shrug it off and never make it right with the customer, but not Millers Pest Control!
