I would not recommend this company based on my experience…read more The roof was installed the month I purchased my home in 2024. By early 2026, I began experiencing multiple issues, including shingles falling off, deterioration on several shingles, and a leak around the chimney. This raised concerns regarding the quality of both the materials and workmanship. The company did return to replace the damaged shingles and address the leak. While the replacement shingles appear acceptable, the sealant work around the chimney was completed very poorly. I will be including photos for reference. Unfortunately, the roofing concerns are not the primary reason for this review. During the repair process, my brand new AC unit was damaged. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability afterward. Rather than acknowledging the damage and discussing a resolution, I was told their crew "never went that far into the yard," despite roofing debris being present directly next to the unit. I have attempted multiple times to speak with the owner regarding this matter. After conversations with the foreman, office staff, and leaving voicemails, I still have not received a return call. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I would encourage others to carefully consider their options before moving forward with their services. Sorry no where to add pictures Stay away from this company!

Deceptive business practices, future customers beware. Sundown does not follow through on promises…read more Read on and see photos. I'll start by saying the roof that Sundown roofers installed was done very nicely and in a timely fashion, but that's where my appreciation ends. In their contract they advise that they clean up all debris created by the install. Just not true. My exterior space was absolutely flawless because we had just put our property up for sale, and I had that discussion with their estimator Zac and their project manager Tony. It was all a ruse; they were packing up to leave when I advised they needed to clean up all debris. They did a few minutes cleaning, but what was left behind was unacceptable, so I started cleaning while they were loading. Tony the project manager saw me picking up debris and started to help me, he spent another 25 minutes helping me. After they left, I spent more than two hours cleaning up their mess. Subcontractor Sundown brought onto my property. Contractor Disposal www.contractorsdisposal.com Do not EVER let these people on your property. I have a 7-year-old driveway, after they delivered their dumpster, they negligently drove a tandem axle truck over the end of my driveway and over the curb off the end of my driveway and cracked the front corner of my driveway. I watched it happen, I immediately contacted Sundown, neither Zac nor Tony the project manager was there managing their sub-contractors like their contract says they will be, but hey came at my request to survey the damage. Both said, "don't worry it will get repaired". Fast forward, they came a few days later to collect $17,500.00 payment. They had an invoice they wanted me to sign that stated we did a walkthrough and all the work they promised was completed, I wouldn't sign it or pay until they acknowledged on their form that they had to replace a gutter and four lengths of gutter guards they had damaged and the damage that was done to the end of my driveway. Tony wrote it all up and we both signed it, then I handed over the check. MY MISTAKE. The gutter and guards were replaced, but now they say they will not repair my driveway. Bait and switch at its finest... They say their contract states they are not responsible for damage to concrete. I read it, that's not what it says, what it says is this: ONE: "Owner acknowledges that heavy equipment is necessary to perform certain roofing processes, may through normal and even cautious use by Contractor and possibly cracks in certain concrete driveways/walks that are not poured sufficiently deep or not constructed in a workmanlike manner as the design was intended. Owner hereby acknowledges such minor damage may occur on the job site," My driveway was poured 5" deep not the standard 4", the installer owns and operates a professional concrete company, and it was absolutely done in a "Workman like manner". TWO: "and shall not make demand of Contractor to reimburse the Owner for such damage, provided due care and caution was exercised by Contractor in performance of Roofer's various functions and in the management of any sub-contractor in delivery of job material" Due care and caution were NOT exercised at all. The driver should have pulled that heavy truck into the center of my driveway, not on the far side, then they ran over the end corner and curb where no one drives and cracked my driveway. AND no project manager was on the jobsite when this subcontractor arrived and left, no one managed them while on site.

Oh my goodness. These people are horrible. I hired the to install tile. The first week, they…read moresent a person , 1 person despite saying it would be a "crew". The man did not bring proper tools, kept saying he would, never did, and I ended up buying the tool to try and expedite. Owner never tried to provide tools needed and blamed the guy he hired. Week one was spent taking up 200 sq ft of old floor but not all the motar. Power said he had aa crew down with prior job. Could start Monday. I would have all three. I had 3 guys half a day. Ended up one guy, everyone else gone. Poor communication. One day I am told "tomorrow, final demo and dry fitting cement board. Didn't happen. There was another day of demo and some incorrect dry fitting. This is the point at which I said no more. What really sent me over the edge was they turned my water off on Wednesday and I advised multiple times I had an appointment and needed to leave by 230. The owner was supposed to come back before I.Left and turned the water back on. He texted me at two twenty seven and said he was about twenty minutes away. I was so mad and I had to go, so I did if they were. Said he'd come back that night later from Bloomington. I guess and turn the water back on, but I said, forget it. I tried to do it myself, and I couldn't, so I spent a night without water. It is so disrespectful, in my opinion to tell somebody. You will be there before they leave. But then don't be there, and they end up having a night without any water. I had new flooring company come out who said as they looked in the bathroom that they had broken my plumbing pipe. Now I have to have that replaced and have a drywall person in to fix that. I asked for a refund of the unspent.Amount I had paid up front. The owner is giving me the run. Around and now he won't respond at all. I have a lot of texts that show everything i'm saying, if anybody wants to see them. The owner told me that I have very unrealistic expectations. That could be true. But when the new flooring guys told me what it would take to fix the problems this company caused, it's less time than these guys already spent here. One of the workers for this company also told me that the they have been working on a job in Champaign for a month and a half, and they're nowhere near done. That's unverified by me. But now I have to sue this guy to get my money back. Also to get money for the plumbing that they damaged. And the drywall repair, which is another three hundred and fifty dollars. Beware. The values you read on their website which say what they are committed to are absolutely untrue, as it relates to my experience with them.

I had requested assembly of a kitchen sink cabinet. The response and quote were quick. Larry came…read moreout the next day and was very pleasant and did a good job putting together a poorly constructed cabinet. Unfortunately, the sink I wanted to use didn't fit safely but he did everything he could to accommodate my requests. He takes pride in his work and I would recommend him to anyone.
