I recently had dinner at Miller's and overall, it was a positive experience. The osso-buco was the standout dish for me - it was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The mashed potatoes on the side were also a highlight, and the gravy complemented them perfectly. We opted to sit inside due to the chill in the air, and while I'm not a huge fan of high tables, it wasn't a big deal. The noise level was reasonable during our visit, but I can imagine it might get louder on days when there are big sporting events on. I find it surprising that Yelp has this rated at 3 stars. It's not a high end restaurant but they serve good food with a staff that seems to care about your stay plus it's a sports bar. As you see rated as 4 stars as the place has both inside & outside seating (with AC) , TV's everywhere and the food is good & beer is cold! Enough said! Check it out you'll be happy you did! I wasn't too hungry so I just had the classic burger and subbed the fries for a salad. I was able to ask them to give me the salad before the burger arrived. It was crunchy and perfect amount of salad dressing. I've noticed some restaurants just love to drench the salad and it becomes so mushy and just tastes of dressing but they got the balance just right. It was crunchy and dressing had a great flavor not too sour. Their honey mustard is so good . I was thinking oh it's so watery at first sight but the sweetness was amazing. The burger arrived a few minutes after I finished my salad and I always say it's hard to mess up a burger. They did a great job. The burger was juicy and tender. The toppings were fresh and crunchy. Loved the pickle they have which is thin sliced and long. The bun was a soft sesame bun and I loved it. I would buy it to make burgers at home it was that good. I'm thinking next time I'll try the bacon burger. Server Meghan was attentive and friendly. Great first visit and would deff come back again. A friend was visiting and chose Miller's Alehouse for dinner, so we checked it out on a Friday. While it was busy, we didn't wait more than 15 minutes for a table. They have a large selection of beers and mixed drinks to choose from. I ordered the Zinger's Mountain Melt, which is a delectable pile of chicken tenders on top of a bed of fries smothered in cheddar cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, and scallions. Is it healthy? No. Does it taste amazing? Absolutely. We also got an order of the fried jalapeños for the table. These were unique - I had never seen friend jalapeños on a menu before but they were crispy, crunchy, and spicy. Despite them being an appetizer, one order was large enough to serve as a full meal. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. I didn't have a long wait to be seated. The tables are spaced reasonably apart and the staff was super friendly. I ordered the cheese curds for my appetizer and they were amazing!! So light and fried to perfection. I also got a pitcher of Red sangria. I felt this was overly sweet and you couldn't really taste any wine in it at all. My date ordered the Hopsecutioner Ale. It was super hoppy. Tonight, I got the mac and cheese with mild zingers. My partner got the cilantro-lime chicken entree with a loaded baked potato and a ceasar salad. Me and my son came in for a good meal last week we got sat after waiting almost 40 minutes to sit somewhere even tho there was almost 15 open spots to sit. our server Reilly didn't come to see us for another 30 minutes our food didn't come out for an hour and a half and when it did it was cold. we didn't even finish our meal we ended up leaving. there was garbage all over our seats and we tried to use the bathroom but there was no paper towels, no toilet paper and there was urine everywhere. What an incredibly disappointing experience. I went here with a friend as we were in town for a meeting. I've been to many Miller's Ale House locations in Florida and always left satisfied. This particular location would not do their Zingers grilled, as every other location would (and you can order them that way in-app at all other locations as well). For people looking to eat healthy while they are out, this certainly is a major drawback. Additionally the appetizer we ordered (kettle chips) took more than 20 minutes to come out. We saw other tables who ordered after us get their entrees first. Clearly, attention to ticket times was not a priority here last night. Finally, the service wasn't great. Our server never came back to check on the table or offer to refill our drinks. While I remain a fan of Miller's, this location definitely doesn't have their act together. read more

I went three times a week for lunch prior to the lease expired on international speedway in Daytona and they relocated went five times a month in Orlando . Staff did a ok job. Food was large portions which the price was fair. Unfortunately there was no fun. No reason to come back. Ale house used to be one of my favorite places to go with my friends for a cheap, but tasty late night snack! However, I'm sad to announce that ale house no longer has 5 dollar apps :(. The 5 dollar apps were what me and friends would always come for, the crispy zingers and loaded cheese fries. Regular price for these are 14.69 and 9.99. We came today looking for the apps and we found out that they're no longer 5 dollars. The prices for everything on the menu also went up by 2-3 dollars as well. My friend wanted to order drinks today but they were out of ginger beer and their blenders were broken so we had limited options. We ordered the mountain melt zingers for 14.69. If you look at the pictures you can see we were only given 4 zingers and I even included w picture to reference the size. Each zingers was the size of a small shrimp. They tried to cover the lack of fries with a lot of cheese. I'm honestly so disappointed in my experience here tonight. The lack of food, the expensive prices, and the poor quality of the food added up to a one star review. I can say that I definitely will not be returning to this Gainesville location ale house. In the end, my friend and I had split the zingers. With the PUF fee, tip, and tax, we each paid 9.60 for half (2 small zingers) of a zingers mountain melt. read more

The wait staff at this location are amazing, but I've had problems with the hostess being MIA and managers not taking care of issues that come up. My biggest gripe is that they are no longer doing $5 late-night appetizers Monday-Thursday AND they took away trivia when they switched to the new location... This was the biggest reason I would gather friends to meet here when we needed a late-night snack. The loaded cheese fries are usually a safe bet. Don't get the zinger appetizer alone - it's $12.99 for five of the smallest chicken tenders you have ever seen. Get the zinger mountain melt if you really want both, it'll save you a lot of $$. The cheese curds and the spiced honey sauce are amazing. The new mozzarella sticks are amazing and a great portion (12 sticks) for the price. The 35 fried shrimp are always good, but sometimes the sides are hit or miss. This last time, the fries were barely cooked and still translucent... We decided to go to Miller's Ale house to watch the basketball game. They had a good amount of TVs to cater to all sports. It seemed as though most seats had a good view of the TVs. There was indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating had fans and mist blowing for those who don't mind the Florida heat. We arrived around 9:30 pm and it was pretty crowded. We waited about 15 minutes for indoor seating. We didn't have a server for a good amount of time but luckily a server from another table realized and apologized which was nice. We ordered the Cajun chicken pasta, chicken zingers, and the Captain Jack's Buried Treasure cake for dessert. The pasta was extremely flavorless. I was surprised because Cajun pasta in particular always has a ton of flavor. We had to add a generous amount of salt and pepper to jazz it up. I also asked for some parmesan. Still, it was lacking. The tenders were good. I love the sauces that they have available to toss them in. The mango habanero was my favorite. The ice cream cake was also pretty good. This is a great sports bar! There is plenty of room, and plenty of tv's. It is well-lit, but there are no lights in your face. It is crowded today, but we got a seat right away, and the service was prompt too. They serve basic bar food. It was hot, and tasty, but nothing stuck out as must-get, although the bacon-cheese fries were deelish! Plenty of parking and plenty of food and beer. Easy wifi, and smiling servers. In comparison to its old location, Ale House has made significant improvements. Located in Celebration Pointe, the surrounding already feels more upscale. The restaurant has a plethora of indoor and outdoor seating, with a full bar for each. All of the tables were clean, and even the bathroom was impressively nice. Even though it only opened its doors a few days ago, they already have customers coming in constantly. I went for their $5 appetizers/late night special, which is after 10PM on Monday - Thursday. I was seated immediately and my waiter was very kind when taking drink and food orders, as well as fulfilling any additional requests that we had. He was very prompt with refilling our drinks & checked up frequently, which was nice. As for the food, it's comparable to all the other chains. However, I was glad to see that the portion sizes were generous; my party of three was unable to finish three appetizers!
