I sat at the bar; the bartender was very friendly and made a delicious dry martini. The prime rib was perfectly medium rare, which doesn't happen often! Came to have dinner here on a Sunday night with my husband and 2 very young children (it was not busy at all) and was not happy with our experience. Food was very subpar, waiter got an order wrong at first and placed knives RIGHT IN FRONT of our 2 year old. It then took FOREVER to get our check in which i wanted to use a coupon which was spend $40 get $10 off. We had bought 2 adult meals and one kids meal. The waiter than came back and said the manager would not allow us to use this coupon because a kids meal is "a special" that comes with a drink... our toddler didn't even get a drink and we were not offered the ice cream scoop that comes with it as well. The manager came to talk with us and after some back and forth he offered to give us some discount just not "that one". Then our waiter came back and asked if we wanted to check out but no one had even printed out our bill. He went back and brought it to us and the manager took off $5. I dont know whether this is a location error or company error, but there is no reason our child's meal is a "special" and shouldn't count towards our check of the night. I also think this whole ordeal took much longer than it had to (30 minutes for us to get our check and have this discussion) and it could have been handled better. Came here after the MS walk on a Saturday morning as soon as they opened. Sat outside in a high top that was dirty but kind waitress cleaned it off. Ordered a Bailey's cream espresso martini which was delicious. Also got the zingers salad with spicy peach sauce and blue cheese. It was delightful and the spicy peach crept up on me but the blue cheese cooked it down. I was about halfway through enjoying this salad until I found a hair in it. We just relocated to South Florida, and I've always been going to Miller's which was nearby our home in New Jersey. We thought we would check it out in Boca Raton and we were a bit disappointed. The food was actually good, but it was the service that stood out and was not acceptable. We sat at the bar which wasn't too crowded, for over 10 minutes and no one had come over to greet us. I finally walked over to the service counter and there appeared to be a manager along with some workers. I asked if there was a bartender and they said they would send someone over. I told them I was waiting for over 10 minutes. Finally a bartender came over and said l: "Sorry I wasn't here but my phone rang and it was my child and I stop everything when my children call me. Family comes first!"This was definitely too much information and I did not need to know her personal information. She also smelled like cigarettes and some sort of fragrance that she tried to cover up the cigarette smell with. If it wasn't for my husband, I would've walked out right there because I was disgusted. I understand that her family comes first, but I don't need to know that and she should've had someone cover or someone should've come over. apologize and say just give us a few minutes. I've been coming to this ale house since they opened the east Boca location after years of going to the west Boca one. Despite two exceptionally awful experiences which I won't go into here, a few items keep me coming back. The zingers used to be the best buffalo chicken tenders. They're still good enough, albeit disappointing compared to how good they used to be. The other item, pictured here, is the Big Red, their behemoth buffalo chicken sandwich, which is as good today as it always was. Didn't come with a pickle like it used to, but honestly would be better paired with a few pieces of celery and blue cheese. Service is usually very friendly and welcoming, you might get a grump or two behind the bar from time to time, especially if you're not a regular. They're very accommodating to try and get your game on a TV within view for you, and there certainly are a lot of TV's! I tried placing a to-go order over the phone with Lara and the experience was really frustrating. I was transferred twice and left on hold for almost 20 minutes. After waiting that long, I decided to just drive to the restaurant to place my order in person. When I got there, no one was upfront to take my order and the phone was still ringing while staff members were just standing around. We went for dinner on 5/16/25. Between the three of us, we got the Brunch Burger with fried egg, 'Cue bacon burger, and fish and chips. My Brunch Burger was outstanding. It was tasty, dripping with cheese, and anything but healthy. The baked potato was salty as I like it. The 'Cue bacon burger was a delight per usual. The fish and chips were less appreciated. Service from Diane was pretty good. No complaints there. I go here a few times per year and I pretty much always enjoy it. Nothing was _spectacular_, but it's really, really good and hits the spot. My prime rib to go was medium not rare the waitress who gave it to me knew it and so when I asked for the manager she was not surprised. The manager was condescending and nasty she and. A first noticeable difference between this Ale house and the ones I've been to is that this one has outdoor seating as well. Ale House also has a bunch of TVs around the building. I love coming to ale house for their happy hour (even though it is more limited, and more expensive) it is still a nice joint. Comfort food. We ordered nachos, spinach dip, calamari and chicken wings. All were great, but the chicken wings were the best. I did not expect the chicken wings to be that crispy. Every bite was awesome. Worst service I have ever had! My Wife, our little one, and I went to Miller's for dinner on Sunday night, about 6 pm. The place was half empty. The waitress was friendly and nice when she was at the table, but more than once, I had to get up and find her chatting with fellow workers. I used to come here regularly for sports games to watch when I want a little atmosphere with other fans cheering for the teams. The last 3 trips I have been there for Football, hockey and basketball have all been pretty similar. Fewer fans / patrons in there and the food choices have gone downhill. The Ale House has virtually abandoned all appetizers that are not fried with the exception of a pretzel and nachos (which are technically fried chips). What happened to fish dip or anything that isn't fried to snack on? They used to have flatbread pizzas on the menu, all gone now too. If it can't be dropped in grease, it's gone pretty much. I don't know about most of their clients but if I'm drinking some beer, I prefer to have a little bit lighter apps otherwise it's heavy on top of heavy.. Honestly, it's such a disappointment from when these places started. Probably won't be going back, not sure why the menu has changed so much. Definitely would not recommend we did a pick up order and had a piece of metal in our food. I called and spoke with the manager Jorge which he apologized and said he'll refund us for the food which we waited two weeks and never received a refund so I had called back and spoke with a different manager who said this was never documented nor was a refund ever processed so he did it himself.. He also asked for me to email him the pictures because somebody from corporate would get back to me, however this was months ago, and I never heard back from anybody from corporate. We went here after bowling late at night. The waitress had too many sections she was responsible for. Between ordering chicken fajitas, cheeseburger and ribs she really couldn't handle everything to come out at once. We were hungry so we were happy to get our food (but it wasn't hot). To whom it may concern: I recently frequented your establishment at the Miller's East Boca Ale House on 10/17/2025, arriving at 7:37 p.m. to watch the Nebraska Cornhuskers football game, as this is our designated "Red Bar," a place where we gather to watch our favorite team play. The game concluded, and a group of men arrived, sitting behind me. They were wearing gear and promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which I found admirable and greatly appreciated. I am a social person, so I started engaging with them about football, including the recent Canelo vs. Bud Crawford fight, since Bud is from Nebraska. I was having a wonderful evening filled with laughter and candid conversations. As a kind and caring person, I noticed a gentleman who looked down, wearing his hoodie, and keeping his head down. I candidly thought he was in a dark place, so I asked him if he was okay. He didn't respond to me, but one of his friends mentioned that they were coaches who had lost an important football game, and the gentleman in the hoodie was visibly upset or did not want to be bothered. I said to him, "I am sorry." My surprise was palpable when an employee, with what I believe were good intentions, approached me and advised me to stop talking to the group as their wives were arriving. I was taken aback, as I was there to watch the football game and enjoy the company, not to cause any discomfort. I reassured the employee that I had no romantic interest in any of the gentlemen and continued my conversation. Then, after that transpired, another one of the gentlemen in the group told me the gentleman in the hoodie had cancer. I was like Oh my goodness. He just lost a football game and has cancer? My heart hurt for him. I asked for my check and paid my bill. The acting manager, Frankie (I recall his name), pulled me aside and asked me to leave. I got upset and raised my voice because I didn't do anything wrong; I was genuinely caring. Being asked to leave and then being told the police were called on me was one of the most humiliating experiences of my life. I was left feeling like I was being treated as if I were trash, a feeling I never expected to experience in your establishment. What threat did I pose to six grown men? None!!! There was one kind soul of the D-12 group who walked me outside and waited for my driver to arrive. They made me walk across the street, and I heard the staff laughing and talking about me. It was so hurtful, but I thought I had engaged them and just needed to stay in my lane. This planet is not a kind place, and its other passengers lack the heart and compassion I possess. A friend and I ordered a margarita pitcher and I got the Zinger Mountain Melt (because what else would I order?). Met a girlfriend for lunch here today. It turned out to be a very good choice. The center it's located in is quite busy, but there are ample free parking spaces right outside the restaurant. It has outdoor seating around a large bar as well as indoor high tops and booths. The restaurant offers a half dozen plus lunch specials at very reasonable prices. The specials can be ordered Monday through Friday, 11 am - 4 pm. I had their blacked salmon Caesar salad. I got the Caesar dressing on the side. It was a bowl of chopped romaine with Parmesan cheese and croutons and a lightly blackened salmon filet. The fish was quite good. My friend had their soup and salad lunch special. For her soup, she had their French onion soup. It came in a small crock covered with a cheesy topping. For a salad, you could choose their house or a Caesar. She opted for the house salad which is a mix of lettuces, tomatoes, red onions, croutons and cheeses. They have quite a few salad dressings from which to choose. Service was fast and friendly. Our food came exactly as ordered. We were checked on frequently. You can't beat the price for their lunch specials. As we left, we noticed they were packed -- and that's probably why. We ordered from a very varied and reasonable lunch menu which included burgers, fish and chips, meatloaf, salads and a soup/salad combo (my choice) along with other options. Our server was great and the food came out quickly. My soup was hot and delish, my salad was cold and i really liked the southwest ranch dressing. The price $6.99? I really loved that too. The outdoor bar is large and spacious with a roof over an open area. There and some tables outdoors and plenty of both booths & tables indoors. Parking is ok.. it is a busy strip center. Dropped in for a late lunch and sat outside on the patio. Food was 4 stars but service rated 6! The service was amazing! I honestly haven't had better service anywhere in the area! Multiple folks checked on me at just the right times. It was perfect! for food, I had the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. The sauce had just a bit of a kick which was unexpected but in a good way. I ordered the fish and chips. The fries were a little softer than I prefer, but the fish had a great coating on it and they gave a great amount of food. I have to say my drink was great too, as some restaurants use regular Florida tap water to make ice, and it can overpower the drink, but they definitely didn't use it here. This restaurant is the new home for the Nebraska alumni club to watch Husker football games. The manager has been accommodating enough to reserve a side room and tables for fans to sit together, eat and drink. The wait staff has been on top of the group's requests for the 4 hours we are hanging at the restaurant. There are plenty of food and drink options to please any patron. The biggest surprise might be that there burgers are really awesome! The appetizer pretzel is also quite large and easily shared with two or three people. I have to say the last time I went to Millers Ale house the food was good but it changed we usually get dumpling they were so skinny compared to before and the food was ok with in a week everything changed it's sad it's not only millers it's all over the portions are getting less and the prices are thru the roof. Now I just read that they charged a customer 4.00 for ice in his drink thats ridiculous not only for millers but for every resturant what's next if you need anything extra napkin there going to charge you for that.
