Bought house paint from Miller 8 years ago. I wanted to do some touch up on a remodel, so asked them if they would "shake" my leftover five gallon bucket. They not only did that, but transferred the paint to much nicer and more convenient one gallon cans. Fabulous service. And by the way, their paint is great. I received exceptional service today from a gentleman named Kris (I think that was how his name was spelled.) I came in looking for fence stains to match my next door neighbor's as we share some sections of fencing and I thought it would look nice to have both sides of the fence to match in color. Kris was able to help me find the right color and provided answers to my questions. He even offered to set up an account for me so that when I come back for more stains in the future, they would have the stains in my account for reference. Upon paying for my transaction, Kris even offered to carry the cans out to my car for me. When asked, he said that that's their company policy, which I thought was a very nice touch to their customer service. I'm thoroughly impressed from the moment I walked into the Miller Paint Store on W 11th -- friendly service, top of the line selection (I would categorize it as the Mercedes quality), and the value because less expensive brand might fade quicker and you'll end up spending more in the end redoing the stains in a year or two. There are not enough Stars to properly rate the experience I have had and continue to have with Miller paint. It is important to premise this review with the circumstances. First, I am not a painter even by my 4 year old's crayon standards. Second, I have a made for TV disaster house that had a hoarder tenant in it ever since I got transferred to California in 2009. The extent of the damage became so expensive that yours truly needs to save every penny possible. If that means learning how to paint then "Hey Siri? Find me the closest Paint Store." Okay so off to Sherwin Williams...except if you are coming from way West Eugene and have six trillion things on your mind you turn in a few buildings shy of your destination and walk right into Miller Paint instead. As soon as I am greeted at the counter Siri tactfully announces from my pocket "In 150 feet you will arrive at Sherwin Williams!" "Er Uh Hmm, well I am here though. Do I skip to the part where I am now a weekend warrior painter extraordinaire! No no, far too soon. Anyone that knows what an L5 S1 ruptured disk feels like knows also knows the gorilla walk that goes with it. While this has nothing to do with paint it has everything to do with the staff at Miller Paint. Before I could explain my sob story and nearly empty wallet I was instead sat down and somehow two ibuprofen and a glass of water was in front of me. Then I was given an education on airless spray tips and the best methods for not only painting the inside of the house but the outside as well. Everyone knows that business is business and I walked into Miller paint as naïve as my four-year-old's Ken Doll. I was sold only what I needed but could've been sold a whole lot more. They knew I didn't need the most expensive paint in the store or even brushes that would last for years. I needed good but only good enough to toss after the job is done. The folks at Miller paint took the time to understand my situation. I could tell they truly wanted to be of service. This is my third trip back to Eugene since the day after Christmas to work on my house. Last week I completed the entire interior and today I knocked out 80% of the exterior. I wasn't going to purchase the trim color until tomorrow but I was ahead of schedule so I made a dash back to Miller paint right as they locked the door for the day. Oh well, I'll come back in the morning right? Before I could get back in my truck they opened the store back up, mixed 3 gallons trim color, then carried it out to my truck. I could go on. So I will. I would like to thank every individual at Miller Paint for reminding me what a wonderful community Eugene is and what I am missing since I moved away. You helped me more than you know. read more

Love Miller paint and it's staff. Been coming here for years and havent had mediocre or bad service. Today we needed our floor moulding matched after having a new floor installed. Mikela helped us out in a snap. She was helpful, friendly and carried our little quart of paint right out to the truck. Always great paint and service! read more

Im giving this a three star because even though Im upset about the service, I still like the product I was purchasing and not every employee is like this one Im about to go further into detail about. Everytime I have to come in to purchase paint and have service from a tall woman (she had no name tag) that works at this location I am treated like dirt. She treated me like I was incompetent and had very little patients for me. I was just there to pick up some stain I had preordered over the phone. It was 5 o'clock an hour before closing and there's no one in the store except one customer that was finishing up with another sales rep. She was snappy, slamed down the phone, slamed down her vacuum extension on the counter and slamed down the gallon of stain on the counter. There were other details and rude comments... But what really bothered me in the end that just tipped the scale was when she liens in and said it sounds like my 4 year old little girl was humming the tune from night mare on elm street and proceeded to ask my daughter if she's ever watched it. They color match paint better than ANYONE in Eugene or surrounding areas. They have very professional help on premises at all times. Specialty stains and the highest quality paints. I finally decided to not get paint at the big box stores. Miller Paint is the only place that gets my business for anything paint related! read more

We keep coming back to Miller time and again for all our paint needs. They are warm, friendly and extremely Knowledgable. We were there to pick out paint for our bathroom and were completely stressed out about everything. We had the tile sample with us, but not much more than that. Michaela was a total life savor! She was super friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. She was able to show us a multitude of choices and truly helped narrow down everything about the color, and the sheen. I honestly think we would still be at the paint store completely stressed out if it wasn't for her. We were able to walk away with everything we needed for the bathroom. This Company is great and so is the paint. You do need to know how to paint in order to write a proper review so ask questions they are super helpful and will tell you what product to use for your project paint does take a couple of days to "cure" so tell them if you need something quick drying for lets say a bookshelf. They will color match anything and most colors coat great I just keep going back every time! read more

Miller is the only paint company in Eugene that carries the Ralph Lauren paint collection. As a design professional, this is a staple for me. The colors in their palette are just right, and one of the few brands that actually "nail it" color wise in a design scheme. The nuances of the Ralph Lauren paint color collection are sophisticated, well chosen, and it has great coverage. I don't know what I'd do without it. The staff at Miller have always been friendly, knowledgable, and ready to help. I also appreciate their early and late hours. read more

My contractor thought this was a good fit. I wanted Sherwin Williams and had their sample pieces. Miller DOES NOT MATCH OTHER PAINT SAMPLES. Plus, I have a TON of this stuff left. I don't know the exact prices for this stuff, but it is HORRIBLE. AND....I had chips in my paint BEFORE I moved into my home. VERY CHEAP and SAD QUALITY!!!! read more

Believe me, I want to like their paint. The staff is friendly, they work hard to mix the color you want, and the paint is made in the Northwest, but what good is all that, when the paint just doesn't cut it? More like never dries... I was excited to find out they had no VOC interior paint, and went and bought what I needed to redo my living room walls, door and trim. The walls came out great. The trim and door were a semi gloss that was really difficult to work with. Thick and drippy, it formed a "skin" immediately so it was nearly impossible to overlap as I dipped my brush. I found myself using water on my fingers to smooth it out. Silly me, 2 months later I had some built in bookshelves to paint and I went out and bought the same stuff. Guess I didn't learn my lesson the first time. Again streaky and super difficult to work with. That was 3 months ago, and I still haven't been able to put my books back on the shelf because it's still sticky! When I called the store a month after painting it, they told me it can take up to 6 weeks for the no VOC paint to dry... No one told me that when I bought it and now I'm wondering if it will ever dry. Do yourself a favor and don't use this paint.. read more
