Located in the The Shops of Harleysville shopping center, it is one of the older, non Super Walmart stores, so you can forget about any produce, hot foods, deli, extended grocery, dairy, or frozen departments or any of the other perks of a super Walmart including self checkouts. If that is what you wish then going further up the road to the one in Greenlane or over onto 309 for Hilltown is the way to go. This aside, it still has many products worth checking out and it is next to Giant. There is a fair bit I like about this Walmart. I often come in here for snacks, pharmaceutical related items, or cheap clothes but I mainly come here for the entertainment section. The selection of DVDs and TV shows alone is worth it and they ways have good finds!! I never had any problem with employees, and even though it can get cramped there is plenty of parking to park in. I also love parking next to the garden center, so I can pop in, grab my stuff and check out in the less crowded garden center registers, so I'm always in and out fairly quickly. This is also next to the road that wraps around the back of the building, easy to avoid traffic and leave out the side exit onto Harleysville Pike (Route 113). The main entrance is onto Main Street (Route 63) which is helpful too. All in all, it's a decent Walmart. Sure, it's not a Super Walmart but it will still satisfy ones needs and get the job done. It's worth a stop in if your in the area.

I typically have my prescriptions filled elsewhere, so I'm not in much, but I am pleased with the ease of access to this store from North Wales Road, the ample parking, and the well lit, clean store. I stopped in to Walgreen's today because they were one of the clinics in the area that had flu shot still available. I didn't make an appointment, so I had to wait for three other people to be seen ahead of me -- about 25 minutes of waiting in total. Once my name was called, I would say it was less than 10 minutes before the clinician administered my flu shot and sent me on my way. Not only was she friendly and professional, but she was able to answer all of my questions about getting the vaccine as well as the flu that's going around this season. I would still rely on my primary care physician for most issues, but it's nice to know that this clean, well appointed clinic is available around the corner from my house, open beyond normal office hours (even on the weekends), and offers good care and service.
