We don't stay there anymore. Here, they didn't make the same mistake! The room was well equipped. The beds were large and we had some good room to spread out (we have a total of 5). The bathroom wasn't huge, but worked fine. No shower door, but a nice shower head so it was a net zero. The gym was small but nice. Couple treadmills, an elliptical machine, some free weights and some stretching mats. Access was from outside the building with a key card. On the 7th floor, there's a bar overlooking the city and the seating area for breakfast. The breakfast wasn't included in the base price, but was very good when we tried it. All in all, a really solid spot on the east side of downtown. We'd go here again.

Standards room amenities and breakfast upstairs on the7th floor. Breakfast spread was good with bread, cereals, pastries and hot selections of eggs, hashbrowns, pudding and bacon. Some fruit and yogurt and smaller variety of cold cuts and cheese. Only odd thing was we couldn't get a table for 4 in the breakfast room (any morning, not due to crowd sizes) so we had to sit out in the bar area every morning.

There's a coffee bar that *actually* serves a good cappuccino. Breakfast with a nice variety of food. There are robes and a hair dryer. There's little bottles of shampoo and lotion. Turns out this isn't the norm. I should mention there is no AC here, so beware if you happen to be visiting during a time when the weather is hot (whatever that means to you). You can pop open a window, but if you are street facing you may encounter noise. While I may have normally judged this hotel more critically, having compared it to 6 other locations post Ireland trip, this is definitely my top choice of all the places I stayed based on amenities, food, and location.

It is in a convenient location nearby many tourist attractions, such as Temple Bar, Dublin's castle, St Patrick's Cathedral, etc. it was also a short walking distance to our car rental pick up at St Stephen's Green shopping centre. We booked this hotel for the first day of our trip. We arrived in the morning so our room wasn't ready for check in yet, but we were able to drop off our luggage in the lobby. This made it easy for us as we could continue exploring according to our plan (we took a 30 minute train ride over to Howth right after dropping our bags). Coming back to the hotel around 5pm, our room was ready and we were able to nap a bit before dinner. The superior room we booked was located in a renovated section of the hotel and had access to a shared outdoor patio right across from our hotel room. We didn't have time to use the patio but it was spacious and it seemed no one was using it whenever we passed by. Our hotel room was very clean, large (great for us as we had plenty of luggage) and we had two complementary water bottles in the room. We had breakfast the next morning and it was buffet style. There is a section if you want fresh made omelettes. Lots of variety I think but I stuck with the classic Irish breakfast items. So delicious and fresh! Check out process - we had a bit of a hiccup as I had given my credit card for authorization for breakfast charges when I checked in. The staff was asking for my credit card again which confused me as I had already paid. Despite the confusion, the service at Radisson was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel for fellow tourists!

For the price, my hotel room smelled awful and it was super noisy from the HVAC outside. I would take the noise of Temple Bar over that. I wasn't really impressed with the decor. We arrived from an overnight flight at roughly 9:30 a.m. and they were still prepping rooms but they stored our luggage and recommended a location to grab something to eat which was very good. Upon returning about 45 minutes later our room was ready and we found the room to be meticulous with a very comfy king bed, mini fridge, tv, and ample size bathroom. I saw a few other reviews that stated the bathroom doors would not stay open but I learned that is by design and we just asked for an extra towel that we used to prop the door open when needed. It serves to point out that the entire hotel is under a complete remodel so many of the rooms and features of the hotel are shinny new. They do offer breakfast in the morning and for the evening they do have a restaurant and bar. Just walk out the front door if you want a livelier crowd and more restaurant options The location of the hotel is prime as it offers proximity the River Liffey, plenty of shops, pubs, and attractions. We walked to the Jameson (25 min walk) and Guinness (30 min walk) factories as it also gave us the ability to take in things along the walk. You are close to Trinity College and both St Patrick's and Christ Church Cathedrals. lastly, I cannot say enough about the staff, Anne at the front desk was a warm and inviting pleasure and very professional, Marvin the concierge and bellman was super helpful and pleasantly informative, the house staff was attentive and always looking to make sure we were comfortable. The Brooks comes with my highest recommendation.

To get the cheapest itinerary it made sense to have a layover in Dublin, even though it was truly never on our must-see list. We had no regrets! Although Dublin is cold/windy/was even hailing during our May 2016 stay here, it was worth a 1 night layover (and a great way to adjust with jetlag before the big trip began). As for the Maldron, it is imperative to take a Taxi if you are traveling with any more than 2-3 people, because it ends up being cheaper than taking the airport bus. I believe it was about 35 Euros for the cab ride each way, a smooth 35 minute ride. The hotel is a bit aged but had recently been gutted. It is clean, in a safe, quiet (Extremely quiet) neighborhood. If you enjoy walking, it is an easy 15-25 minute stroll to the main downtown area and restaurants. There is also a tram within 5 minutes of the hotel. We found that late at night it was difficult to get a bite to eat near the hotel and thus had to walk into the main strip/downtown area. The hotel staff are kind and quick to respond to any requests and issues. One note is that when going to the airport, if you want to save 2 Euros hail a cab yourself, because any time you have to call ahead of time for a cab the 2 Euros fee is charged!
