Santa Fe Griller

Every time I order from here it's a home run. Sandwiches ready at time indicated? Check. Delicious as always. Use the App to get rewards points. Typically we get Buffalo Big Bird which my wife loves. Jay Ray is my Daughters fave. I tried it and I'm a fan now. Wondering what happened to the steak sandwiches though they were not on menu. Love this place.

Slam dunk sandwich shop with a variety of options (great veggie sub options too!) I tried the "margherita" sub and my husband tried the sloppy Joe. We also got a side of Mac salad and a few of their drinks! Great portions and flavorful all around! It was a bit confusing when you first walk in to understand where to place your order, but staff is helpful! There is also a dedicated indoor seating area right next door which was a plus!

Griller #8

We had a large group in the area and just wanted something simple and easy. We had heard great things about the Millburn Deli, and thought we would give it a try. We ordered a variety of sandwiches to share, and unfortunately we were largely disappointed. There are a lot of very interesting items on the menu, and it seems like people really like the pressed sandwiches. Everything on a plain sub roll was pretty uninteresting, especially both vegetarian options (which ended up being mostly just bread.) We really liked the griller #8 which was thinly sliced chicken, mozzarella, tomato, basil, and pesto aioli on focaccia bread which made for a lovely sandwich, but it is significantly smaller than everything else on the menu, making it difficult to share. I might consider going back for griller #8, but its not the stand-out sandwiches we were hoping for.

Was passing through the area and looking for lunch when I came across Millburn Deli. It seems like a pretty beloved institution, and the store had super extensive menus. They had a section of pre-made sandwiches featuring some of their crowd favorites including their Godfadda, Gossip Girl, and Urban Cowboy. I decided on a North Jersey specialty-- the Sloppy Joe ($12.95) with your choice of protein (I went with pastrami). Unlike the tomato-forward, ground beef sandwich that I associate with a sloppy joe, the North Jerseyan version is a lot similar to that of a Reuben sandwich. It comes with three slices of rye bread, coleslaw, Russian dressing, and Swiss cheese. I found the sandwich a little messy to eat, as the bread was too soft to contain all the fillings and I could literally feel my fingertips digging into the bread while holding up the sandwich. The sloppy joe was also strangely cut into three pieces, so the coleslaw and dressing was oozing out both ends of the middle piece. That being said, it was a very well-sauced and moist sandwich, which I always prefer over a dry one. I also picked up an iced tea ($2.95) which came highly recommended and a small tub of their pickles ($1.95). The iced tea was fine; I'm not sure why it was so overhyped as it tasted like a regular iced tea to me. Their pickles had a good crunch and I liked the thickness of the cut, but I did find it a tad salty. Overall, it was a decent spot for a quick lunch as I was in and out within 10 minutes on a weekday afternoon. I will say however, that they do not give out any napkins, which I will deduct a star for considering how messy their sandwiches are. PS- There is metered street parking (free for the first 15 min) as well as a parking lot next door.

Millburn Deli never misses! The sandwiches are always delicious and the service is always friendly and pretty prompt. I always do pickup so I can't speak for the ambiance when you stay and eat but the employees are always cheerful and friendly. I always get the iced tea and it's definitely a must with every sandwich. This time I tried the limited menu barn burner and honestly I wish this was on the regular menu. The bacon was perfectly crispy and the sandwich had a great kick to it. One more sandwich down on my mission to try them all!

Came here for lunch during a NJ trip and it was so tasty. Got the "The Hollywood" sandwich and it was so good and filling. The place is so cute and popular! A good amount of people were here when we went but the service was still great. Staff were nice and answered questions we had. Didn't take long for us to get our food and we were able to sit inside to eat. Would come again!

Godfadda

I have been going to Millburn Deli for years and it still is my go to place for a lunch sandwich. I usually get the godfadda which is what I got in my most recent visit. It is incredibly delicious. Bacon and chicken are perfect together! Only slight complaint is the bread was too soft. Just a bit more of a crunch would have been better. The service is also pretty good. They make their sandwiches relatively quickly and the pick up process is very straightforward.

God I love this place. Whenever I'm in the area which is like once a month I always go here and it never disappoints. If you want a really good sandwich come here and it won't disappoint you. Service is always good so no complaints about that. It's a regular deli that serves good food. Being that it's getting nice out, I could eat my sandwich outside at the table.

Their famous sloppy joes will fill you up and the combo of meat, cheese, coleslaw and Russian dressing will surprise you. Everything is made to order and they even make their own iced tea and pickles. With multiple locations in NJ (Millburn, Morristown, Montclair and Westfield) - Millburn Deli has you covered! My brother who recently moved into the area had been talking about this deli for months and I finally got to try it after helping him move. I can see how they are doing well. First, we did not eat them while they were fresh, probably at least 3 hours after the sandwiches were made. I must say they use quality and fresh ingredients. Everything tasted so fresh. The chicken cutlet was so tendered and not heavy. The roasted red pepper was so sweet. The wild bull was perfecto with the A-1 sauce. It's such a clever combination of ingredients to make great sandwiches. The sandwiches are in the pricier side but it's worth a few more bucks for the flavor and the quality ingredients. Apparently they are doing so well that there are other locations. I hope they continue to do well and serve delicious food
