I noticed some of the kids would run into the court area... luckily no one was playing tennis) Swings - two baby swings (the bushes nearby provided some shade in this area) and two of the swings that have a regular seat and a baby seat attached to the same thing. Gazebo - there's a gazebo in the center that was on an elevated cement platform. Baby play House - there was a little play house that looked like it was for babies, like new walker age... Two play structures for kids - lots of slides Plenty of benches around the park A giant pig statue and cow statue to play on Dinosaur, airplane, and police car ride up Pretend nature themed house with a little bench in it A splash pad that was dirty and not open yet. I assume it will be cleaned first. Looks like it'll be like a couple inches of water with a giant flower shooting water down onto the kids. There are…read more2 areas that have been closed off for a while and you find trash on the floor pretty much all over the place. I love the shaded benches, and water sprinklers are available. Plus there's a small sandpit and 2 climbable dinosaurs. This place has lots of potential, but could use some TLC. Plans for renovation seem to have been made, but it appears that raising $5.9 million will take a while.

It's a pretty old playground that lots of people still enjoy. The bathroom was flooded today but when I gotta go it's a blessing! I'm at least giving this playground three stars. There's toilet paper! I would bring my child as the play area is clean and free of vagrants. And most importantly there's a bathroom!! There's lots of benches if you want a quiet place to sit and rest.

This is a nice smaller park located upon Garamound. They have a pond a big walking area they even…read morehave a skate park, Which not many parts have. There is even a water park if you want to call it that that little kids can play in in the summertime. In fact the Waterpark part of it is just closed for the fall,winter whatever you want to call it. There are two small parking lots at the top which seem to have enough spaces most of the time for visitors. There are several areas with picnic tables that you can eat her which is very nice. And they have a field. Many people don't know that if you walk around the back of the pond and follow the trail up into the woods there are even more picnic tables And if you go up even higher there are actually tennis courts up on top that you can access also from another road on top if you don't feel like walking that much. The pond is not the cleanest however and I really could use a little more maintenance on the area.

Mr. Glen, the park coordinator was fired due to city cutbacks. The wooden walkway is such a hazard giving many kids splinters and cuts. Then the slide broke and has since been sitting that way. It's quite a depressing place now. All it needs is a little TLC from the city or the Rockwell group. Perhaps a $$$collection. Either way, the city Parks and Rec has let this playground and the kids of FiDi down. What a shame.

This is one of the cleanest parks I've ever been to in my entire life. The slides are very clean…read moreand you can slide down them really well without halting. They are sparkly clean with a big reflection from the sun! It burned my eyes looking at them in the sun. One good thing about this park is the number of spider webs that you can climb onto besides the steps that you can go onto. This park also has clean sprinklers at the feet level and big sprinklers that come and go. Very clean and safe. Most important thing is the safety issue. I have a stroller with belongings and they were untouched the whole time I was in the park so that's a plus! Also this park is gated from the public and only families with toddlers and kids can go in. Very family oriented. Will definitely stop by more when I'm in this area.

Billy Johnson Playground is very cool blending in with the area full of trees and wooden…read morestructures. This is a quiet peaceful area with easy access to and from Fifth Avenue. The day I visited there were many Nannies with small children going in and out of the gate. It's a place I will not enter unless I'm with a friend that has small children. There's bucket and tire swings, an amphitheater spray feature, two granite slides set into a hill, a rustic net climber, and a sandbox and sand table. As I said I love this landscape with rustic structures and stone bridge. You need to visit and enjoy! By the way, no restroom!
