Music was better than great everyone dancing singing-Tommy Fox was stationed for beers wine -they had a great spot and had their own portable potty for guests-didn't have to wait on long lines for public bathroom. The fireworks were great expected better but good job -now leaving parking lot was crazy they sent all cars in one direction instead of utilizing all exits-took us an hour before we were out of the mess-but all in all nice time -let me not forget the delicious corn beef sandwich we bought from Pastrami grill from Garfield NJ -look them up

We went to Cooper's Pond Park a few weeks ago in the afternoon. A short, nature walk with our…read morefamily, it was serene and scenic. The walking path was good to follow along and it was peaceful for all visitors. We watched as several people were fishing by Cooper's pond. Looked like a great activity to do together or solo. Plenty of great water views at different angles. Bike paths were used along the nature paths too. For a short trip out in nature, this was a beautiful place to go. Ducks and geese were all around, watch out for their poop! Enjoy their presence.

This is a wonderful place to bring the whole family. They have about 12 different trails, all…read moreseparated in different levels of difficulty. The trails are free to enter but they do request for volunteer donation for non members. Different tiers of annul membership available to purchase at main office that comes with some wonderful perks, such as free access to trails and special events. The main office also has some of the exhibition items like insect box and turtle box. Outside the office there's also bird and butterfly cages. We went to the center for our daughter to participate in butterfly feeding event. Upon arrival we found out we had to buy the tickets for one of the two scheduled events. Luckily there were slots available to the second event on the day. The ticket was reasonably cheap, only $8. It also came with an additional bird's exhibition that took place right in front of office deck. All the stuff members were very friendly, informative and interactive. We spent wonderful couple of hours here on beautiful warm summer day.

We were in the area and looking for a nice spot to relax and take some photos. I looked on Google…read moreMaps and saw this park nearby. I saw that there was a nice pond in the middle (great for photos) as well as some walking trails and a few tennis courts. We just happened to have our balls and rackets in the car so this was a bonus. We arrived and were surprised to see that on a nice sunny mid-afternoon Saturday, the place was practically empty. We first drove around the loop looking for what was available. We found the gated tennis courts (3 Courts) that were empty. We went in and knocked around a few balls for about half hours before we decided to walk further around the park. We saw a father and son (presumably) that were fishing which was nice to see. There was a large gazebo in the park as well, which could possibly be rented for occasions. (I know many parks have that option) We snapped some photos around the pond which came out great but be mindful that as with every pond, there are lots of bugs lurking. So don't forget the bug spray. The park was very well kept, I was impressed. There were a few trails that presumably lead to the eastern end of the park but we did not take them...maybe next time. Overall we had a great time at this park. A nice place to play tennis, walk, run or fish?! (I am not sure if a license is required). Enjoy!
