    The Pond in Glen Rock

Love this place and visit often. Want to feel the breeze through your hair? Want to see the baby bunnies running around under the trees? This is your place. Just be sure to keep your mouth shut while riding through the clusters of gnats this time of year into summer. You may wind up with dessert :) Not something I would want to yelp about! The only bad thing about any park like this is the different type of enthusiasts that show up. You have bikers going 20 MPH and parents strolling along with their children on scooters, so all I have to say is "slow down" and give the little ones and their parents a break!

Glen Rock Area Another Beautiful Park In The Saddle River County Park System This Park is highlighted by a small pond in the center surrounded by open spaces that include tennis courts, pavilion and a playground (Ice Skating in the winter). The down side is this park is overrun by Canada Geese and they make a awful mess, aside from dislocating the indigenous wild duck population. Fishing (NJ State Fishing License Required) Tennis courts (2) Ice-skating Picnicking - Pavilion with electric Playground Model boating (by permit) Keep The Parks Clean And Your Dog On A Leash!

This beautiful park is located just off of Prospect Street in Glen Rock NJ. When entering the park, the large "one acre" pond is directly infront of you and is surrounded by copious amounts of fun activities. One may park and throw a worm into the pond and catch some tiny sun fish or bass, or play tennis at one of the three courts. Bring yoru kids to a spacious playground or have a picnic on one of the many large lawns. There are two large "tents" or covered buildings to plop down and enjoy, and simply enjoy the scenery. The park is also linked with the other via the "bike path" and a great little water fall is just a short walk away. I bring my children here all the time, enjoy it!
