Small pond with walking trail around it. No dogs are allowed. Ducks and geese wonder around in the park. We saw turtles and fishes in the pond too. Some trash in the pond, could be from the storm that we just had. I hope they have staff/volunteers to clean it? Still a very good place to visit for quick outdoor activity.

The perfect place for a walk during sunset with an amazing view for the fall. Great for families

Good spot for leaf peeping! fall colors all around. Love my autumn stroll in Cooper's Pond.

Found a little gem in Bergenfield New Jersey. Perfect place to come, relax and enjoy some peacefulness, nature, scenery, and the ducks!

This is my favorite park in town! If you enjoy fishing you can try your hand at some of fishes in the pond. If fishing isn't your thing you can stand in the gizibo and admire the pound. My boyfriend and I like to take laps around the pond with his dog. He even like to take a swim in pond! Behind the red house there's even a historical museum. Great park!

Very nice, well-kept little spot. A charming place to take a breather. Convenient parking, obviously has a pond. Has benches, a path to walk on. Not very big, but definitely a nice spot.

Beautiful pond surrounded by a walking path, picnic tables, 9-11 memorial, and a gazebo that sits at the center. The only downfall is the geese and the poop they leave, but I just stay away from their area when it's that time of year. It's a peaceful setting with the weeping willows over the pond. The only time I've seen it busy is during town-wide events. This is the home of the Bergenfield xmas tree and where Santa visits the day of the tree lighting. I've seen people fishing occasionally and even catch a fish or two on occasion. My family and I love to spend evenings here hanging out before the sun goes.

This place is pretty cool! It's about a .5 mile paved loop around a pond with out any real incline. Perfect for joggers (can get muddy though). A major highlight for me was the equipment. I've never seen free exercise equipment in a park before. We saw turtle geese and hedgehogs. The old willow trees make this the perfect spot. I'm not sure if it was because of Covid but the trash/garbage was out of control. That was my only complaint on

This pond is a hidden gem in bergenfield. When I walk in it almost seems like I'm not in Jersey anymore. Very beautiful scenery and trees. There is a gazibo,walking/jogging trail, plenty of benches, and a big pond. My family and I come here through out the year mostly in the summer or spring to hang out and enjoy the great outdoors. Very peaceful and there is usually kids fishing in the pond. The town even holds events here like a x Mas party with Santa or a Halloween parade for the kids. There is also a museum that is open on the weekend afternoons. Check this place out if your in the neighborhood.

Cooper's Pond is a beautiful park in Bergenfield. It has a small parking lot, a boat house where the town holds occasional activities, and a nice jogging/walking trail along the pond. There are also plenty of benches and picnic tables to have a nice lunch, play a game, or just watch the birds. You can also fish. They lose a star because dogs are banned. This doesn't seem like the kind of small, manicured park where dogs would be a huge nuisance or disruption. As a responsible dog owner who leashes and cleans up after my dogs, I hate being discriminated against because of irresponsible people. All rants aside, this is a nice little park if you're in the area.

Very clean well manicured park. Easy, comfortable walk paths. Very scenic park that I didn't know existed. Nice day!

The gazebo is my most favorite as well as the charming little wishing well in the area of where the museum is.

New Bridge was a prosperous mill hamlet centered around a bridge strategically placed at the narrows of the Hackensack River. It served as a battleground, fort, encampment ground, military headquarters, and intelligence-gathering post in every year of the American Revolutionary War. We arrived a bit early and walked around the grounds which contained three 18th century homes. We met James Smith one of the reenactors gave us some fascinating history about the location. The most famous building is called the Steuben House . It was here that General Washington made the house his headquarters for 10 days in 1780. In 1783 as a thank you, the State of New Jersey presented this confiscated house to Major-General Baron von Steuben. The other buildings on site were Campbell-Christie House and Demarest House. For those Revolutionary War buff in NJ, this place would be worth a visit as they have several events through the year.
