I've lived in this area all of my life and I never get tired of it. Plenty of photo opportunities here. There's grassy areas to host picnics in or play sports. If you want to walk, there's a walkway right along the Hudson River and there's a hiking trail adjacent to it. The trails are all connected to the Palisades Interstate Park. Parking isn't difficult to find here, but it is metered ($1.50 per hour). They also have public restrooms and a seasonal concession stand. There are a lot of geese though so.... watch where you're walking because their droppings are everywhere. Whether you want to hike, relax, take photos, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery, you can't go wrong with coming here. ... and yes, it's doggo friendly! :)

Aside from the many pieces that you'll see, you will also have chances to admire the wild life. They've done a good job at keeping the trails clean, wide, but you'll encounter many types of terrain so, I suggest hiking with boots. Also, take it all in and take your time. Don't forget to look up, as well. I will try to enjoy the conservancy in every season, to see how it changes and gives back to us.

The true ballers come out early on the weekends. There was once a time where park goers could control the lights at the court. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. However, they have upgraded the backboards and rims. Gone are the metal backboards and single rims. Today we play on fiberglass boards with breakaway rims. Lovely park right off main street…read more There is no parking lot but lots of metered street parking in the immediate area. The park has a large field with a baseball diamond there. There is a paved path around the perimeter of the park. There is an exercise area as well as a sizeable playground, focused on children 5-12 years old. Along the main path, there are also some less intensive exercise stations...they even have wheelchair accessible options. The park is very well-maintained and safe.
