Same holds true for your car, you take it to the "Car Doctor" and Mark at Mill Creek Motors is just that. He is highly skilled and will diagnose your cars problem and put you back on the road smiling. I first met Mark in 2014, I took my car and asked him if he would perform an evaluation on the overall condition of my 2002 Accord [179,000 miles]. I had taken my vehicle to my regular mechanic for a routine oil change and was told my car needed almost $2000 in repairs to keep it on the road which I did not believe to be true. Not only did Mark agree to perform the vehicle evaluation for $45 he was going to give half of the amount back on any repairs he made. He found the rear brake lines needed replacing and NO OTHER REPAIRS WERE NEEDED at this time, $400 and I was back on the road safe and smiling. Now this is what you want when you take your vehicle in for service fair and honest answers with the work done correctly. Mark has performed several additional repairs/service to my vehicle over the past 2 years and I am extremely satisfied with his work and the cost associated with the repair. One thing that is totally unique about Mill Creek Motors is Mark is the only Doctor servicing the vehicle and like your personal Doctor he gets to understand you and the needs for you automobile. He will never try to sell you a service you don't need but will offer you what repairs are needed to keep your car on the road keeping you and your family safe. I have two Accords and an S2000. They've always treated me fairly, given good advice and have done a top notch work on all my Hondas. I haven't written many reviews, and I usually don't unless I feel strongly about something. These guys have saved my butt and saved me money and they deserve some kudos for it! I think Hondas are the best cars made, and I wouldn't trust mine with anybody but them or Heritage. If somebody that doesn't know Hondas works on them it's a crap shoot. Trust me, I have been down that road before! A little story... Last August we were on vacation and my 2011 broke down. I had to call AAA and get towed to this dealership down around Columbia SC. The shop manager guy came up and said they would have to keep my car overnight because they were trying to figure out why it stopped running. I looked up Mill Creek and called them, and they had me put the shop guy at the dealership on the phone. It turned out to be some problem with the fuel injectors or spark or something. I can't remember exactly. I remember it was a relatively simple fix. The thing that was awesome is that they had the parts on the car and I was on my way in a couple hours and the cost was something like $350. No hotel needed and we got to the beach fine that evening. :) read more

My husband and I have been coming to Mill Creek for over 15 years. He and Dawn are professionals. They both have high levels of standards when caring for our cars. In the last year my AC went up on my 2004 Toyota Scion, It has well over 200,000 miles on it. We agreed to see if it was easily fixable. The Scions put the AC in the car in such a way that it would have cost $3000. Mark told me explicitly to look for a car in the spring. He does not want people to spend money on repairs which are more costly than the value of the car. Well I purchased a used Mini from a dealer whom I will not name, the car battery died 9 days after purchase. While fighting with the dealer, I called Mark and Dawn and explained that my husband was out of town, what should I do. He came to my house got enough of a charge to take it to Mill Creek and then found out the car battery was totally dead. He and Dawn came to my rescue in spite of the fact that this car is a Mini. Talk about customer care , he rescued me! And Dawn kept me calm....! I have been a customer of Mill Creek for over ten years and have had two Honda Civics, two Honda Pilots, an Acura TL and Acura MDX worked on at the shop and have always received top notch service. Mark was recommended to me by a friend years ago and I have not taken my Honda products anywhere since. I have recommended Mill Creek to friends and family and they are now also customers. Mark walks through every service with me and discusses the options I have. He has always been honest with me and has not steered me wrong. Their pricing cannot be beat as I've called the dealer for quotes on comparable services and the dealer was always significantly higher. They are very responsive in scheduling appointments and during "emergency" situations. We were in Hagerstown when the starter went bad on my 2004 Pilot (I had ignored the warning signs...) and Dawn answered the phone on a Sunday morning to help us out. They gave me troubleshooting tips and they had the starter replaced on Monday. I tell everyone I know with Hondas about Mark and Dawn. When I moved to Westminster in 2005, I started looking for a mechanic, always scary -afraid you will get ripped off. I found Mark and Dawn at Mill Creek Motor Works. And from the beginning, I found Mark and Dawn to be fair, reasonable, reliable and honest. Those are qualities that are necessary when you have your own business. The work is ALWAYS done correctly the first time. I have never had to take my car back to have something redone. I drive a 2006 Honda Ridgeline truck. It has 285,000 miles on it and it is still running well. Mark and Dawn stay on top of what maintenance is upcoming and how long before the next service so the are no surprises. Mark and Dawn have gone above and beyond the call of duty so to speak, when a timing belt broke and had 30,000 miles left. Dawn is working with Honda to see if some of the costs could be covered. I've only been to this facility once as I live out of state. We had driven up from TX and were visiting relatives. While we were there our Accord started overheating. My mother in law had heard of this shop (through a friend who drives a Honda) so we called. They took us right in. The water pump on our car had developed a leak and needed to be replaced. They kept it overnight and got it back to us the next day. It's been fine ever since. Just for grins I got a quote for the same job here in TX from my normal mechanic and Mill Creek was actually cheaper. Possibly different labor rates? I don't know. If you need your Honda worked on, this is the place to go. I don't know if they do other brands as all I saw there were Hondas. read more

I have been coming to Mill Creek for years now and would not trust my 2003 Acura (with 138k miles on it and going strong) with anyone else. Mark and Dawn are trustworthy, and they *know* their cars. The prices are fair, and if Mark doesn't get it right the first time, he'll keep at it until he does. [That has only happened once.] We have taken all three of our Acuras there over the years. Once a year, each car goes in for a full inspection. Mark tells us what is needed or will be needed. The last time my car was in, he told me nothing needed fixing.
