Had to put lotsa mayo to make it edible. Side of Caesar salad was well tossed. One of the worst restaurant burgers $24 Korean chicken Burger--overcooked chicken breast so dry again, not juicy at all. Sweet seasoning nil spice, how can they call it Korean? $24 Coconut calamari-- did not use baby squid, used sliced formed cuttlefish in thick batter.No squid taste at all $19 Eggs Benedict-- OK but lukewarm food. $19+ $5 fruit plate( didn't tell us fruit cost extra, only ask if we want salad or fruit.) Waiter was busy with 2 large tables, did not look over our table at all so I went to bar tender to get some mayo and ketchup and he brought us some much later. Water was never refilled, he was busy. This was an unplanned dinner, but I am glad we did; first, I thought participating restaurants for the Dineout Vancouver are only based in central Vancouver, so I was surprised to see Milestone's dine-out Van three-course menu in Tsawwassen. Milestone has two dinner entries, $35 and $45. We had; Onion soup Mediterranean Chicken Chocolate raspberry sorbet VG 35 My first time trying onion soup, it was so cheesy, however a little saltier on my taste, so I just finished half of it. The Mediterranean chicken was so good; it's a perfect low-carb meal as it's grilled chicken loaded with veggies; I was impressed as well with the taste as it was herby which made it flavoursome. My favourite was the sorbet, the first bite right away. I can say it's pure ingredient of cocoa with less sugar, and an excellent combination of chocolate and raspberry. I wish to know where I can buy this kind of ice cream. Sweet chili chicken bites Chimichurri Sea Bass White Chocolate Cheesecake 45 We loved the chicken bites, perfect sweet chilli, crunchy taste. Sister was satisfied with her sea bass meal as it was a new tasty fish flavour to her not heavy too as it comes with tricolour quinoa and rice pilaf and vegetables. The cheesecake dessert was a little sweet, not a favourite as it's like the familiar cheesecake taste you can buy at other shops. Overall, the entry options are excellent, and the amount of serving is a lot, cause we were expecting a less serving of each but nope, we ended up taking out most of the chicken bites and both main dishes. So yeah, it was an excellent dinner and highly recommended to check it out, they have about 5 options to choose from for the main dish, three for desserts and appetizers. My first dine out experience this year. Sadly not to well. We were seated quickly and drinks were served at an adequate time. The server Ethan was very good, attentive and did what we requested. I could not blame him but the fault lays on the kitchen. We ordered 2 appetizers and requested they came before dinner. Mine arrived and the other one was not delivered. Ethan explained a reason why his was not delivered. I was only half finished my appetizers when the dinners started to arrive. I had the dineout dinner of the pork tender loin as the main course. All the food came hot which is what I prefer. I suppose the kitchen could have put it under the heat lamps but that would cool down the food which I do not like. All of the other dishes that came, didn't have any complaints about the amount, taste and presentation. The stuffed portobello mushrooms were very good. The person that missed the appy was given a free dessert and the birthday person was also given a free dessert. I cannot blame the server. The kitchen messed up. We have been long time patrons of Milestones (different locations). The menu prices have increased a fair bit of think. Even ordering hand helds like burgers and sandwiches are avg $22. Having said that the food is good, shoe string fries (yum) and great service. Ordered the crispy chicken caprese sandwich and the Thai basil noodle bowl. Both were delicious. The sandwich was a good portion, chicken was so crispy but not dry, mozzarella was so good, tomatoes...just so yummy. Service was subpar...had to ask for napkins and cutlery, had to ask for water which we never received, our food was never checked on, I ordered my dish with no shrimp and it came with shrimp. Needed a bite to eat so we settled on Milestones which is located at one end of the mega Tsawwassen Mills Mall. It had been awhile since I last ate at any Milestones. I was glad to see some new menu item options. Our server was pleasant & served our food to us promptly. This Milestones is new & so decor, cleanliness & lighting are all top notch. Our lunch consisted of the Ginger Glazed Salmon & the Norwegian Red Pepper Cod. Our food was amazing & tasted superb. The salmon was so tasty & combined with shrimp fried rice & sautéed bok choy - made this plate absolutely delicious! The cod dish was sweet tasting. It was combined with rice & antioxidant rich goji berry coconut broth on a vegetable rice pilaf with green beans. This cod dish is offered on a limited basis. Always a nice time out at Milestones. Had the 8oz sirloin steak frites, seemed smaller than 8oz, but was perfectly done to my liking (medium). Chimichurri on top was delicious and the deep fried shoestring leeks were a tasty bit of texture, as well as a nice visual. Two critiques: 1. Less of the leeks would have been fine, as I couldn't actually see my steak when it arrived. 2. The Parmesan fries that accompanied the steak could have benefited from more Parmesan and less fries, as the sheer volume of the fries simply overwhelmed the plate and the cheese flavour was kinda muted. Excellent aioli on the side, though. If I had one critique of the menu offerings, it'd be that there isn't a strip loin on the regular menu, just sirloins. There was a 12oz strip loin as part of the spring menu, but that's too much for me. A nice 8oz strip is my go-to steak, when I can order one. The rest of the family loved their meals, so we wouldn't change a thing there. Looking forward to our next visit! read more

Tried Mileatones for the first time today with the boyfriend and I think I can say for the both of us, it was an amazing experience. Friendly staff and short wait times plus the food was way better than what we expected. I got myself a Bellini and the Roasted Field Mushroom Gemelli Pasta which includes fresh roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions, tomatoes, wild baby arugula and topped with a truffle Parmesan cream. It is a really heavy in garlic taste, which I don't mind since it was absolutely delicious, so if you're trying out this dish and have plans later for date night, don't forget to have some gum. The boyfriend got the Ginger Glazed Salmon which was also incredible. We're both usually a bit skeptical when we go to western restaurants that have Japanese inspired dishes but it came to a surprise as to how good the fish was! Though the rice did taste just like the average fried rice you can get just about anywhere and the bok choy was an odd decision when it came to the overall appearance and appeal of the dish, the salmon was perfect. Though we had ordered the Mediterranean Goat Cheese Platter, and they had forgotten about the dish, it is an ABSOLUTE MUST TRY. It includes a generous serving of warm Goat Cheese topped with a red pepper relish with roasted garlic on the side and is served on a focaccia bread. For the restaurants that Tsawwassen has to offer, Milestones is one of the better ones. I have to say, I received the best service I've ever received during my visit. Our server was awesome! She was funny, held up great conversation, and to sum it up knew her sh*t. Out of the main chain restaurants in Canada, Milestones is definitely one of my favourite ones. The food is a little bit overpriced, but the quality and portion size is pretty darn good. It was pretty late when we went, so I was feeling something really light. I ended up getting the beet and goat cheese salad and added a chicken breast. My mom got the fish tacos and for two tacos they were huuuge. Next time I come back I'll definitely be getting the fish tacos, because they looked delicious! This new location is large and has plenty of booths for comfy seating. They are well known for their bellinis, so I would definitely recommend getting one of those bad boys! Being about a 4 minute drive from my house, I'm excited to come back here when I'm craving late night comfort style food. read more

Nicely decorated and located next the outlet mall...customer service is about 3/5 and the food is a bit inconsistent...second visiting there and the California Egg Benny did improved but the appetizer Coconut Calamari was very deceiving in portion and look compared to the picture on the menu! Finally went back to milestone after 4 years. It used to disappoint me so often that I stopped going to all the locations. Finally decided to give a shot again and went to this milestone after shopping at the mall for dinner. I had the server Josh and he's really friendly. I had the Caesar for the Sunday special and it was good. Milestone has one of the best Caesar and it never disappoints. I had the 12 oz prime rib for dinner. Comes with mashed potato or your choice of a side along with grilled vegetables and fried onions on top. The portion was huge and it's well worth the price. The steak tasted great and everything here is good. Definitely satisfied my cravings and exceeded my expectations. Also it's a new building so it's nicely decorated with an outdoor patio. The price here was over the top ridiculous for the quality. 58 CAD for 1 lunch entree, i omlette and 1 calamari appetizer. Food was 2 stars at best with no taste. I don't expect much from bar food but this place was truly sad. The calamari was some of the worst I've ever had. Way to greasy and bland, way to small of portion and presentation like it was trying to be a high end restaurant when all it was was a major failure. Truly felt this was one of the worst bar and grill chains I've been to. To add insult to injury, the booth had a funky smell. read more

I really don't think I've been to a worse restaurant in my life and I'm 66! All we wanted was a nice place to sit and have nice meal after shopping all day. The menu is extremely over priced but I guess what isn't these days. I opted for the spinach & artichoke dip with nacho chips with the happy hour glass of wine ($5.00) and my friend ordered the 1989 Burger with fries. I took one taste of my nacho chips and they were absolutely rancid, they had the worst taste ever, there was no way anybody could have eaten them! The manager came over after about 15 minutes and apologized and offered me something else, but by that time I couldn't even get the taste out of my mouth and didn't want anything else. I did however munch on a few of my friends fries until I noticed something crawling, it wasn't a fruit fly either, small but I don't know what it was. Then there was another on the plate, that so did it for me! The manager came over once again and apologized and asked if there was something else we'd like, I DON'T THINK SO! seriously! He said he'd comp the bill and then the waitress came with the bill for my $5.00 glass of wine, I don't mind paying for it, but I was shocked, you really would have thought he'd pick the tab just to save face! During the Christmas errand phase, we ended up in the TFN mall and decided to go to Milestone's for dinner. HUGE MISTAKE ON A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT LEVELS: 1 - Server. Never actually finished a sentence while at our table; but would wander off as she almost finished the statement or question. Never came back to see how the meal was - we had to get her back. Onto #2. 2 - Meal. I ordered a basic (overly salty and too expensive) meal and my wife ordered a pasta dish. The pasta appeared to have been previously cooked and was then heated under a lamp. Even with a knife, the tortellini was next to impossible to cut through. Flagged down our server and asked for a redo. The redo (which was more like it should have been - edible) came after I had finished my meal. Nice evening out.....onto #3. 3 - Invoice. Server dropped off invoice and muttered something as she walked away. There was no comp and no discount for the meal experience. I paid the bill and brought this to the attention of the manager. The manager ran off and got us a FREE crumpled appetizer coupon for next time. Really? So we took the coupon and went to the mall to finish shopping. The first clerk that gave us decent service (finished a sentence while we were in their presence) got the appetizer coupon. My wife, baby boy and I met my sisters and brother in law at Milestone to celebrate my 40th birthday. Within minutes of sitting down my wife and I ordered a beer each. They were delivered promptly be a trainee waitress. I had my back turned as she delivered my beer, lost control of the tray (thankfully only two drinks on the tray) and dumped the other beer all down my side, soaking my shirt and pants top-to-bottom down one side down to my shoes. The trainee waitress was only slightly apologetic as I stood up shocked answer dripping with beer. I requested a different waitress after she'd clean up the mess. She never fully wiped up the floor, and I sat with my feet sloshing around in a puddle of beer for the remainder of the meal. Eventually the manager came by to check on the situation. She was slightly apologetic. She acknowledged that we requested a different waitress, and then sort of guilt-tripped us, say, "I guess we can find something else for her to do." Yes, like wait other tables. How rude. Then the manager kept saying, "is there anything I can do?" Don't ask! Offer something! You just dumped an entrire beer on me on at the beginning of my birthday meal. Now im going to sit through my entire meal, soaked through my underwear with beer! Offer to comp our food or give us 50% off or a gift card or something. Instead she did nothing. She did however point out that we wouldn't be charged for the beer that was dumped on me. I'm so disappointed with my experience at Milestones. The food was absolutely horrible and the service was ok. I understand that the place is new (opened in the brand new Tsawassen Mall) but the staff didn't really know the menu. I took my sisters who have not been to a Milestones and was excited for them to experience it. We ordered the spinach dip to start and it was so salty. It was really unpleasant. I ordered the Roasted Field Mushroom Gemelli Pasta (Vegetarian. Fresh roasted field mushrooms, caramelized onions, grape tomatoes and wild baby arugula in a truffle Parmesan cream). The waitress came back 10 minutes later to ask if I wanted chicken or shrimp with it. I had to explain to her that it was a vegetarian dish. The caramelized onions was really just huge strips of semi cooked red onion. There was not a hint of truffle in this dish. It was bland and not good. My sister got the Beef Bolognese (Our signature house-made meat sauce made with petit filet and ground chuck with a roasted trio of mushrooms and baby spinach, tossed with fettuccini noodles and topped with Asiago cheese). It came with the huge strips of red onion and a semi bolognese/cream sauce (she did enjoy it). My other sister ordered the Old Fashioned Burger (Fresh, ground chuck burger topped with smoked bacon, aged cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and our signature house-made burger sauce on a toasted egg bun) and it was huge but she had to send the fries back because they were cold and soggy. The replacement fries came moments later, soggy, but warm this time (and with very little apologies). And the food is ridiculously expensive. I haven't been to Milestones for ages. We had to take a shopping break and decided to come here for dinner. They greeted us at the door and sat us immediately in a booth. Very friendly waitress and very accommodating. We ordered the buffalo chicken wings and spinach dip. Both came out piping hot and delicious. The wings were crunchy and juicy. The dip was perfect and the chips looked fresh fried as they were still warm. I use to always order this dish and never remembered it being so generous with its portions. I ordered the spring salad with goat cheese, pecans and strawberries and it was amazing ! Just as I remembered sweet and tangy. They are very generous with the goat cheese and portion size, I was surprised how much they gave me. I ordered a side of chicken with it, next time I will try the grilled prawns. Daughter ordered the seafood pasta, at first she wasn't sure about it but after adding parmesan cheese and tobasco sauce she really enjoyed it. Portions were bigger than I expected. Mom ordered the chicken clubhouse and omg it was delicious. Candied bacon, grilled chicken, tomato, lettuce and a wonderful garlic aioli mayo on a cranberry seeded mini baguette. Left overs were yummy too. The fries super hot and crispy, even after the fries cooled down they were still crispy. So tempted to order a side of fries but we had plenty of food. Gravy was nice made with real beef drippings not the packaged stuff. Great food ! Great service ! Good portions ! Prices are fare for what you get. First time back to our local Milestones in years. What I liked is they have upgraded the decor a bit, and the $4 Happy Hour wine price is attractive. I also like that they take reservations. However, when I compare Milestone to it's immediate local competition, Cactus Club, here is what I notice. -Everyone at Cactus (C) greets you with a smile and welcome. At Milestones (M) the busy hostess did not great us right away, and then simply said, "I will be back in a minute." At M we did not see our server for 5 minutes and then she came by to say she would be with us shortly. - At C, it is hard to find a poor table. In the bar and dining room all the tables are comfortable and have a good measure of privacy. At M the booths look much better then they used to be, (when they had unusually high table tops that made you feel like a kid.) However, if you don't get a booth you get seated in the center of the restaurant where they have the very uncomfortable and weird ergonomics of having two 3 foot diameter tables sharing a 10 foot long bench seat. If you have 4 people at the table, 2 people get comfy chairs, but 2 sit on the bench. The bench has a 2 foot deep seat and a straight back. So if you sit back to get support, you are miles from the table, and if you sit forward to eat, you have to share the small portion of the table that comes close to the bench. And by the time you get 4 people's cutlery and drinks on the small table, which has it center filled with a big pepper shaker, drinks menu, happy hour menu, and appy special menu, you are running really short on space. And because 2 of these types of table share the same bench, there is a real sense of lack of privacy between you and your neighbors. The couple that was seated next to us, changed positions around the table once to try and get more comfortable. As that did not improve things, they just left. Milestone's management/designers really need to go back to the drawing board on this one. As to the food, one out of our party of 4 liked her Mediterranean Chicken bowl. However the rest of us did not enjoy our meals. The calamari appy was less tasty and half as big as what you get at Cactus. The fish/crab cakes were dry. And the California burgers simply did not come together as a dish. In my burger I tasted the mayo, the raw onions, and the beef, which was not actually juicy and well-seasoned. There is no comparison between this burger and the Bacon Cheeseburger or Feenie Burger you get at Cactus. As we left the restaurant, no one said goodbye or held the door for you. Small but pleasant things we experience every time we go to Cactus. Bottom line, for half the price I can get tastier food at White Spot. For the same price, I can get far better food, better service, and far better (and more comfortable) dining environment at Cactus Club. read more

It was a really unpleasant experience dining at this restaurant. My family and I sat and waited at the front for a few minutes. Despite getting there first, the host served someone else before us. We remained patient. When we were finally sat down, another couple came beside us shortly. They received waters and their drinks pretty quickly. On the other hand, my family had to wait about 15 minutes to get waters and to even meet our server, which ended up being the same server to the couple beside us. We waited for the food quite a bit as well. The cutleries and napkins had to be asked for and was given after the food came. They got the side of one of our orders wrong despite double checking the order, and when this was mentioned, the server gaslighted us saying that what did ask for the side that came. The food was great, but we wondered if were just so famished. Our server kept asking to clear our plates even though not many of us had finished our food and we just felt so rushed to head out. I felt that the service we received was discriminatory and I don't want to have to experience this again and will not go back to this location. read more

There are first a few things I feel management over there should attend to as this was all leading up to even arriving at the establishment: - Post your business information on google; hours of operation, etc. whatever fields are available, go and fill it out! - I had to call to inquire about what time you were open until when I could have found that out through Google when I searched your business. - Remember to turn on your sign's lights at night; we came at 9:30pm and yours was the only sign that was not on, making it hard to spot next to the brightly lit Boston Pizza (perhaps you're discouraging guests from entering past a certain point at night - I was told over the phone you closed at 11pm, but the lights on your sign outside were off); we almost drove past it. Friday date night, and were seated rather quickly. We were seated and familiarized with the alternative Mexican menu (Cinqo de Mayo, how appropriate!) by the host and were left and prepared for our server. 5 minutes after the host left us, we were greeted by a male server who identified himself as "not our server," due to our server currently being "indisposed of" (what does that even mean? lol), and offered to take our drink order. Love the teamwork! I ordered a glass of water with an Original Bellini (5/5-yum!), my date, a pint of beer. 5 minutes after the stand-in server leaves, our server comes to drop off the glass of water; she tossed it onto the table as she walked by without a word. My date and I looked at each other like, "that was actually kind of rude." She came back a few minutes later with the remainder of the beverages and took our food order as well. The following were ordered: For starter: - Tuna Poke: Wonderful dish! Avocados were not ripe enough yet, but it wasn't too under-ripe to the point where it was inedible. The pineapple gave it the right amount of acidity without needing to use ingredients like ponzu. Tuna tasted great, chips were crispy and delicious. I rate this dish a 5/5! I would come back for this as an appetizer any day. We asked for a couple side plates as the tuna poke was delivered and they were delivered AFTER watching our server take 2 orders from other tables first. As a former server, I think she may have gotten that backwards; but this is part of what Yelp is for: training your staff through customer reviews, right? Quick drop off from server stations first (1 minute) vs. taking an order (1-5 minutes) first. Mains: - Miso glazed cod: I had originally ordered the prime rib but they had run out for the night (understandably). I've had this dish at other locations before but I was quite disappointed tonight as the cod was dry, I think perhaps overdone. The vegetables were tasty but the rice was completely boring; we didn't even touch it. Tonight's experience of this dish would get a 2/5 =( Disappointed but next time we are looking to trying out the lamb medallions! - Portobello mushroom chicken: My favourite dish and always go-to when I go to Milestones. That chicken in the portobello mushroom sauce, DELICIOUS! Just like it is supposed to be with the saucy flavour and texture - very well cooked chicken; done perfectly moist and juicy! However, at the other locations, the pasta is usually a lot lighter in the sauce/seasoning department - I would have to add salt and pepper myself, which is what I prefer, but tonight I felt that the pasta was just lathered in a heavy cream/cheese sauce... It was WAY too saucy and heavy with what you had put into it tonight. It would have been tasty if that was all that was going to be on the plate, but adding it to the already very saucy portobello mushroom chicken loses the balance of the plate. Plus, it was not consistent to what I've had time and time again so I did not expect that. To make matters worse, the green beans on the side was a nice attempt at putting vegetables on the plate but I think they may have been overdone? I like my cooked beans still stiff with a crunch, but these were limp bean noodles swimming in... oil? 3/5 on this one and I am VERY disappointed =( Please fix this for the future as this is the main reason/dish for why I love the Milestones chain! I had asked for a couple of spoons as well after receiving the main dishes; exact the same thing happened as when I had asked for the side plates (orders before getting to it, seems she almost forgot because I heard her remind herself when she walked by our table 5 minutes later). Yikes - when she dropped them off, same with the water delivery - but this time, she actually dropped the spoons into the bowl of miso glazed cod in passing =/ . We went in for lunch on the way to catch the ferry to Victoria. The place was pretty slow. I had a burger and my wife had the fish tacos. Service was pleasant, attentive, and fast. The burger was solid if unimaginative and served with hot fries. The fish tacos were delicious with a nice little kick. All kinds of flavors going on. So, not my best meal ever but I thought they deserved more than three stars. It's a good pub serving solid to excellent food. read more

Sorry I was disappointed today at lunch. 1) wifi didn't work and they didn't know how to help fix it 2) food was good - prime rib sandwich and it came quickly 3) service was not good - I felt a bit ignored when the place was quite empty. Sat waiting g for the bill with an empty plate for 10 minutes - couldn't see any staff to wave down. Not quite what I'd expect from Milestones.
