Milan's is a family owned business on the corner of Mascher & Wyoming, they serve breakfast/brunch.Not only are the portions ginormous but the quality is topnotch.if you're super hungry opt for a (belly-buster)platter,you will not be disappointed.

The Yelp rating hold up! The his place was great!…read more Out of towner here visiting for the weekend. Turned to Yelp to find a good place and this didn't disappoint. The restaurant has 2 levels and there is an elevator to the second floor. We were seated at a window which was quite nice. We were able to watch the city streets and architecture while enjoying our meal. The service was top notch, they were incredibly fast and attentive. All of the food was fantastic. If I lived around the area this would be a staple for a nice night out!

It's situated right near rittenhouse square so it's a bustling and great area. The spring festival was happening is it was PACKED! We were seated by a window and immediately given water. We ordered some lattes that took quite a while to arrive - we learned they have one coffee machine so things were backed up! Our serve apologized profusely and they gave us a sweet treat on the house at the end of our meal. I ordered the frittata which was delicious and my husband to the omelette . We also got the drop biscuits with strawberry rhubarb jam and omg am good! Our brunch was great and the interior was modern but felt homey and we had the best service and the manager also came to see things were going. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back next time I'm in town!

This review is for delivery only. I've ordered from Top…read moreNotch twice. The first platter was oxtails, cabbage and candied yams. The oxtails were delicious! Nice and meaty, very tender and flavorful. I'd give them 9/10. Cabbage was seasoned well. They get 8/10. Candied yams were delicious. Would definitely get them again! They get 10/10. Needless to say, I enjoyed my meal. I had enough for another meal the next day. The second time I ordered the Fried Chicken platter with candied yams, Mac and cheese and a side of collared greens. The fried chicken was just ok. It tasted like it wasn't freshly made and not seasoned. Maybe sitting around for a few hours. The chicken gets 6/10. The Collared greens were surprisingly good, with a mild taste of vinegar to give it a little kick. They were well seasoned and tender. The collars get 9/10. The Mac and cheese was just ok (if u don't know what good mac and cheese taste like.) The mac and cheese gets a 5/10. A little dry and not cheesey at all. Needless to say the yams were yamming again. Always my favorite, they get a 10! The delivery was fast and the food came hot and wrapped well to avoid spillage. The prices for a platter, range about $14-25 dollars with 2 sides. Any additional sides are $5. No real complaints. I love that they are pretty generous with the portions they give you. I would definitely order from Top Notch again. Probably try something different to go with my candied yams :)

Aside from the food being delicious and the portion sizes being huge, the price is the best I've encountered. One large platter with three sides for $15! Unheard of compared to other places I've been to. The fact that they're open till 2am is also a huge plus for me. There's no sitdown seating so it's worth noting that this spot is takeout only.

This is my new go-to for chicken & waffles. Concise, excellent beer selection. And interesting, well-made cocktails. The banana cream pie is one of my favorite desserts anywhere. Staff is friendly. We ordered the crispy cheese curds (Wisconsin cheddar, smoked guajillo salsa, and charred scallion ranch). These were a unique take on the classic and I was here for it, definitely try these! I then had the wedge salad (blue cheese, nueske's bacon, cherry tomatoes, radish, pepitas, crispy onions, and thai basil goddess). There were no tomatoes on ours, and so we were given sliced avocado instead. This was an interesting attempt but not my favorite take on this dish, I probably would not get this again. However, the shrimp po boy buns came through to round off this meal! (crispy shrimp, smoky aioli, house made choppy chop, dill on two buttered potato rolls.) These were fantastic and absolutely fire. NOTE they are tiny, almost appetizer sized, which didnt bother me because after the salad and cheese curds I was feeling full already but I would go back and get two orders just for myself they were that good. All in all a great place, I recommend!
