I was distinctly underwhelmed after the Place was so highly rated. Perfunctory - that's how I would describe it. I thought she could have worked harder on the toenails. However, she was very gentle and the place was spotless. I paid $30 for a pedicure. I'm from NJ and never pay more than $20 for a pedi. Sometimes you can get a mani/pedi during non-peak hours/days for as low as $25 - $30. Just saying. read more

Have been going to this salon since last year, showed up for my appt about 10 mins early.. no one greeted me as I walked in. Sat in the waiting area for 45 minutes and still no one greeted me... and then they took a lady back that had showed up after me, and continued to ignore that I was sitting there for my appointment that was supposed to be 45 minutes prior. So disappointed in the lack of professionalism and common courtesy to let me know if they're running late. Will be finding a new salon. read more

Great Nail Salon! Today was probably the sixth or seventh time I have been into Milan. They are always courteous and professional. They have done a wonderful job camouflaging the shops boxy shape because of it being in a strip mall. Very pretty and relaxing decor. The massage chairs are nice and most of the time they offer me a bottle of water. Every one of my manicures and pedicures have been very well done. I don't have the luxury of being able to make an appointment, but they always have a technician available or at least only a short wait. They have a nice selection of polish and other services as well. I can't imagine how many other shops I go by to go to Milan. I didn't give it five stars only because it is a little more expensive. I will continue to go back to pamper my hands and feet! Keep up the good work!! read more

The inside of the salon is very new and clean. However, the woman really butchered my big toe when trimming my cuticles and didn't exfoliate my legs as part of the pedicure. Going to keep looking for a different nail place in York. read more

This is the 4th nail salon in this area I've tried and by far the best! It is clean, nice decor and the nail techs are very friendly.

This salon is overpriced, 20 dollars is too much money for a regular manicure! I will not go back here because I believe that to be unfair. Also their nail dryers do not work. read more

I've had many pedicures and this one was by far the worst. I agree with the other reviewer. It was way too quick. It cost 45 for spa pedicure and I think it took 10 min. I was do disappointed because that's a lot to spend for 10 minutes. Font go here unless you want to throw your money away. read more

Waste of my hard earned money. I have been to this salon for both pedicures and manicures. My first experience was with a meticulous young woman and I was thrilled. I happily booked a return appointment with her and was given a time, however, when I returned, I was not assigned to her and was instead told they didn't take appointments because they are too busy. I did not appreciate being told I had an appointment on the phone and then being handed off once I got there. For my second appointment, I had a woman I am told is one of the owners and her work was satisfactory enough to continue with the salon. The third visit was with the wife of one of the owners I am told, and she completely rushed through my manicure. She was going so fast and looking away while she was clipping my cuticles. I was worried she would cut me. It was not a pleasant experience. She also did not file my nails smooth and they were jagged on the tips and sharp. My gel polish also started chipping a day after I had my nails done. I believe because they were sloppily and hurriedly done. Today I went for a pedicure hoping to get someone else in the salon, but I got her again! I hoped for the best - how hard is it to mess up a pedicure? But she flew through my pedicure too! (a spa pedicure $45) I watched the woman next to me give such a nice message while my person looked away, kept talking with the woman working next to her and looked like she could care less. She also left the tips of my toes jagged after she clipped them and didn't even file them until I asked her to knock the sharp edges off. I even mentioned the jagged edges (I could see them from a few feet away) and she said they were fine and blew me off. At this point I just wanted her to finish so I could leave. The polish was sloppily applied, (my nails are not completely covered) there is polish on my cuticles and dirt under my nails. I have had many, many pedicures and have never had such a bad job done. I am so disgusted! I'm going to have to give myself a pedicure to correct what she neglected. What a waste of money! It would be different if you could choose who you see in the salon, but that is not an option, so save yourself the money and hassle and go somewhere else! read more

My husband surprised me with a gift certificate to this place, which was down the street from our house. To be fair I was a walk-in and they were busy. It also looks like a nice salon. I waited about 20 minutes to be called to a chair (fair) and then sat with my feet in water for the next 30 minutes while my feet wrinkled and the water became cold. Jolene came by and quickly cut and filed my nails. She was so fast in fact I thought she might cut me and the uneven filing of my big toe was obvious but ignored by her. She added cuticle remover and left me to wait on another attendant. While she was working i asked her if it was normal to leave clients in the water for 30 min. She said yes if you are a walk-in and they are busy. Five minutes later she returned with the cuticle remover and quickly snipped my cuticles while talking to the client next to me and often without looking at what she was doing! I was waiting for her to cut me but she managed not to. The polish was some cheap brand and looked way lighter than what was in the bottle and she only used one coat even though you could see right through it. This is my first experience with a salon in PA (I'm from California and have lived in LA & San Francisco). It's possible my standards are too high but I will be looking elsewhere for a regular salon. read more
