This 3 Michelin-Starred restaurant is off the charts. Every dish is presented like a work of art and choreographed by the servers to be delivered in perfect sync with theatrical but fun flair. THe food is as beautiful as it is out-of-this-world delicious and creative. I will never forget this meal. I'm so glad we got the chef to autograph our menu. They've had two Michelin stars for a long time and I'm not sure how a Michelin star expires but their website does not mention that they have any for 2013 or 2014. Yes, the meal came to over $800 (including tip) for 4 people so it's not something you want to do that often but the different wines coming with different courses and the level of attention was really something. All this plus a (limited) view of the South Tyrolean Alps outside. I was pleasantly surprised to find this family run restaurant with excellent comfort food. They even called our B&B for us to let them know that we were running behind schedule. There is an incredible view from every seat in this unassuming restaurant. There was another restaurant upstairs I believe. I don't know how that restaurant is but this was was truly perfect and a nice slice of Austrian hospitality on a very international road.
