After all, it is a tourist area. Over priced food. Don't expect much other than expensive price tags on every menu. I had carbonara pasta and it was good/nothing special but definitely not worth EUR17. Seems like it is a busy place for dinner as Google has good reviews. That's how we found this place, too. My friend had the tomato sauce pasta with half lobster. Lobster was tiny and it was almost EUR40... he did not like with the quality of the lobster and the pasta. Giving two stars just because of the good location. read more

Good food and fast service. During rush hour, there may be a very long wait, and the first time we went, we ended up leaving before being seated. When we came back at off peak hours, we were seated immediately. read more

Good option for a late night dinner in Ortisei, the service was great and everyone was very nice. The menu is extra long with multiple options to please everyone and to make it hard to pick. We tried a pizza which was cooked super fast and came with a perfect crust. Staples like the Crème Brulee, The carbonara pasta, and the caprese salad were standard but nothing special or remarkable. the best item that we tried was the truffle and mushroom risotto which packed a lot of flavor and was cooked to the perfect term and consistency. They were generous with the digestives (amaro and limoncello on the house). the portions were on the larger side and we were stuffed but happy after the visit. It is great and it is open late, so it is a solid option after a long day hiking in the mountains. read more

Food quality was very disappointing. Service was ok, but not great. Ambiance was fine. Too bad, I wanted to like this place.

Amazing food and service. We got the special lentil soup and the special soup below. Free sample of Prosecco and Limoncello. read more

Mauriz Keller 4.0 Located in the old part of the city, Mauriz Keller has a downstairs seating area and a few seats outside. They do not take reservations but the seating area is quite large. The restaurant has a very extensive menu of German and Italian dishes, including lots of pizza variations. They also have a nice selection of wines; glasses and bottles. The restaurant does cater to lots of foreign tourists and their staff speaks most of the key global languages. We ordered a cabbage salad as a starter. It quickly appeared at the table. We then ordered our main courses; a veal dish and a pasta. I thought the veal was well prepared. The pasta was not as special. Overall, a solid dinner. read more

Our experience was so wonderful we ate here 2 evenings in a row. First night pizza, second night pasta and steak. From start to finish, the atmosphere (both nights) was welcoming and all meals were delicious. We want to specifically thank Andre for his amazing service, kindness, and advice on ordering. It was my husband's birthday and he made sure to make the occasion extra special. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this fantastic family restaurant. Thank you Andre!! Your family knows how to provide delicious food with all the extras! Standing ovation! read more

We greatly enjoyed our experience here! As a starter we shared the Tagliatelle Fatte in casa so fungi (chanterelles e porcini). It was absolutely amazing (10/10)! Perfect way to start off the meal. For the main course we got the sesame ahi tuna (7/10) and red wine venison chop (8/10). Both filled with a variety of great flavors. Chocolate cake was a little dry, but had a nice lemony twist to it (5/10) Service was great! Everyone was busting their butts and worked as a team to make sure everything was delivered, refilled, and cleared out in a timely manner. For being a touristy area, I was very impressed with this restaurant. read more

As a New Yorker in Italy- the task of finding a good restaurant can be a little exhausting - and very hit and miss. That said, my wife and I LOVED this place. The truffle risotto and Gorgonzola gnocchi were incredible. Seriously. One of the best meals we had in Italy- and the service was very friendly. Definitely recommend. read more

Went here twice while on a hiking trip to the Dolomites. Had the penne one night without the speck, and had the spinach ravioli the other night. Both VERY large portions that I could not finish. Great wine, great dinner options and shared an apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce one night with bf and it was sublime. Good service. Didn't make a rez and was seated right away. read more

A quaint pizzzeria in the heart of Ortisei. Several pages of pizza to choose from. Our party had 3 pizzas and 3 other dishes. The pizza was thin and soft with crunch in the crust, a slightly sweet dough probably from a bit of sugar to help the yeast in the altitude. Varying thoughts about the pizza but it was flavorful. I had potato ravioli with veggies in butter herb sauce. It was TDF. Our table had a bottle of wine, which was great, and some of us ordered beers, which were so-so. But all in all, very recommended. read more
