Good option for a late night dinner in Ortisei, the service was great and everyone was very nice. The menu is extra long with multiple options to please everyone and to make it hard to pick. We tried a pizza which was cooked super fast and came with a perfect crust. Staples like the Crème Brulee, The carbonara pasta, and the caprese salad were standard but nothing special or remarkable. the best item that we tried was the truffle and mushroom risotto which packed a lot of flavor and was cooked to the perfect term and consistency. They were generous with the digestives (amaro and limoncello on the house). the portions were on the larger side and we were stuffed but happy after the visit. It is great and it is open late, so it is a solid option after a long day hiking in the mountains.

Amazing food and service. We got the special lentil soup and the special soup below. Free sample of Prosecco and Limoncello.

Food quality was very disappointing. Service was ok, but not great. Ambiance was fine. Too bad, I wanted to like this place.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The space has a cozy ski lodge feel with charming Tyrol style design that makes it both rustic and comfortable. It feels refined yet relaxed, perfect after a day in the mountains. When we tried to walk in without a reservation, the hostess was sweet and helpful, making us feel welcome right away. The service throughout the evening was exceptional, welcoming and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. On our first visit, we ordered the dry aged T bone, and it was hands down the best dry aged steak we have ever had. The flavor was absolutely out of this world, rich, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was unforgettable. The real truffle pasta was beautifully executed with deep, earthy truffle flavor that felt authentic and luxurious. The tartare was equally impressive, fresh, well seasoned, and elegantly presented. The desserts were simply stunning. Not only were they delicious in flavor, but the plating and presentation were works of art. Each dessert felt thoughtfully crafted, both visually and gastronomically. This place delivers on every level, atmosphere, service, quality, and presentation. It is rare to find a restaurant that excels so consistently. We would even go back to the Dolomites just to visit this place again. Highly recommended.

Reservations are recommended. We ordered glasses of one of the local Bolzano white wines. It was strong flavor but a good selection. For starters we had the cabbage salad and the stuffed zucchini blossoms. Both were very nicely prepared. For main courses we both had pasta dishes. I had the special spaghetti pasta with truffles and my wife had the special risotto. They were both nice sized portions and were wonderfully prepared. Tubladel is a bit more expensive than some of the other ranked restaurants in Ortisei, but it is worth it. We loved our meal.

One of the finest meals of my life on a cold winter night. Every Austrian city that relies on…read moretourism has a selection of various restaurants serving the same (nearly identical!) selection of traditional Austrian and Tyrolean favorites. You know the menu before you even see it. Anich is, in my opinion, the very best of them all. Be aware that the food is HEAVY and served in large portions. If you order one of the classic popular meat dishes (roast pork, schnitzel, goulash, etc) you should either be very hungry, prepared to share, or willing to ask for a takeout box. It's a ton of food and it's all stellar. I'm trying and failing to think of something we ordered there that was less than delicious and I can't. The service was not especially fast but I don't mark this kind of restaurant down for that because the meal is supposed to be a slow one. The local wine selection is excellent as is the beer. During a very crowded time you may be asked to share a large table with strangers or so we heard, but in my visits I never saw this happen. It was winter. Summer may be a different story. The building is lovely as are the several dining rooms. If you're looking for a light meal go elsewhere. If you want to be stuffed with dumplings, meat, gravy, and all that great stuff don't go elsewhere.
