For main courses I selected the Lamb chop special and my wife ordered the Goulash. Both dishes we wonderfully prepared. For dessert we shared the apple strudel. The service was not especially fast but I don't mark this kind of restaurant down for that because the meal is supposed to be a slow one. The local wine selection is excellent as is the beer. During a very crowded time you may be asked to share a large table with strangers or so we heard, but in my visits I never saw this happen. It was winter. Summer may be a different story. The building is lovely as are the several dining rooms. If you're looking for a light meal go elsewhere. If you want to be stuffed with dumplings, meat, gravy, and all that great stuff don't go elsewhere.
