Enjoyed a great dinner at this more German style restaurant on our last night in Cortina. The interior had a very German feel, with the decor and furniture.
The food had a German twist and a beer theme to them, mixing the German beer into the the ingredients o many of the dish's. We start with some German pretzels, which were great, and then o tried the spinach and sausage spatzle, which was a bit different than I expected. The noodles apparently shaved on a grinder into the boiling water to cook them, making for very small pieces. It was interesting for sure, but again, just a bit different than expected. Don't get me wrong though, it was delicious, and there was none left on my plate at the end of the meal
The service was great, friendly, and happy to help offer advice. I'd certainly visit this spot again!! read more
