The pizzeria itself actually offers more than just pizzas and there is also the option of various pasta dishes and meat courses both of which are good but what really stands out are the pizzas. The dining room lends itself at first more towards somewhere slightly more posh but you shouldn't worry as the service is more friendly than this and you soon feel relaxed. The pizza menu is one of those with almost too many pizzas to choose from as you pour over 3 4 pages of pizzas (which I always find difficult.) Once you've found something you fancy though, and personalised it if it wasn't exactly to you r taste then the service is quick and with a few minutes it'll be in front of you. They are all huge so make sure you are hungry before you walk in and have beer to wash it down as it can be tough going. A good spot in the village and perhaps the best since Sett Sass closed.

Whatever time of the day you are greeted by Myriam and Artur with open arms and wide smiles. Their staff are experienced, quick and friendly! Espresso machiato is superb, spritz veneto is the best aperitif (ask for a sprizzone *specially made by Myriam), the Weizen is the best beer.

Although I've not stayed in the hotel I have had coffee there and eaten there several times. The food there is excellent and they do a range of meat and pasta dishes although no pizza. The pasta dishes are perhaps the best selection and all are properly made and overly large every time. I can particularly recommend the Carbonara or Bolognese, both of which are excellent. The Carbonara being truly made with late raw egg addition stirred in just before serving. The service is good too and wine is nice. Try the salads as well, usually based around a mix of cabbage and lettuce which makes for a change.

Good enough that I was tempted to go back another day for more but with the limited time we had in the area, I wanted to try other places. My husband had the spinach and pecorino (?) ravioli that is native to that area in a butter sauce. They were good too but mine was better! LOL. We shared the chocolate salami for dessert. It was drier and dense but good-more his thing than mine. I think it had small pieces of bread in it or cake. Not overly sweet or rich. I would definitely return here. I have already been trying to find a recipe for the beet dumplings - they were that good! This place won't disappoint.

Their executive chef Albin Widmann treats you with traditional Ladin and South Tyrolean as well as Mediterrenean dishes. The wine menu presents over 400 local and international varieties. They have daily speciality menus as well as an a la cart menu. The restuarant also offers a salad bar, cheese and pastry buffet. The chestnut soup with truffle and the calf cheek are especially good.
