The family meal is 10 pieces of lemon chicken with rice and pita bread for $20.99. I think this deal has to be ordered at the restaurant or over the phone, not online. The service was fast, we ordered at the restaurant and our food was ready within 10 minutes and came out really hot. I liked that they serve the pita bread hot! The chicken was cooked well and fell off the bones easily. The 10 pieces were legs and thighs and came with sauce on the side. There wasn't a strong lemon taste but the food was still tasty. When you walk in and place your order pay then have a seat they bring it to you. I ordered the salmon with a side of shrimp with rice and salad. So good and flavorful. Enjoyed another delicious lunch at Mikonos Grill today. It was pretty full when we arrived, but were able to spot an open table. It's nice to see this restaurant doing well, since they do a nice job, whether you decide to dine-in or take your food to go. Service is always friendly and quick. I like that they bus tables often to allow customers places to sit. You should leave fulfilled, since they don't skimp on portions. The pitas are stuffed more than most gyro restaurants in the area. You also can't go wrong whether you order their Gyro, Chicken Souvlaki or Falafels. On this trip, I enjoyed the Chicken Souvlaki Plate, which comes with awesome Chicken Souvlaki, Pita and Tzatziki sauce with a choice of two sides. I opted for green salad and rice to complete my meal. The chicken was tender, the rice was well seasoned and I like that they give you a good amount of pita bread too. Decent parking as there seems to be quite some shops such as yogurtland close to this. Came across this while driving south as it is closer to 680 freeway exit. Decent seating inside for groups and children. As we were hungry, we went straight into main course. Lamb Gyros were my favorite. Chicken Souvlaki Plate is also very good I felt Salmon plate was ok. Mikonos Grill is prob my favourite restaurant for real and authentic Greek food. This is my second visit ordering the same thing again which I love - the lemon chicken plate. It's a little sour but that's what makes in tangy and delicious. The meat on the chicken just falls off the bone. This round, we ordered two plates of it but of course had extras to take back! You get to choose two sides and I would recommend the classic Greek salad as one of them. It always comes with pita bread too which is great for dipping into the lemon sauce! Tried a new side dish - a side of meatball, which is more like a patty. Very, very good, sausage is well seasoned. You get side of yoghurt dip which really works well with the sausage. Will come here again for sure! The menu is diverse with gyros, dishes, and sides - there's at least something for every kind of eater. Lamb skewer, Steak skewer (both $11.25 each) - Terrible. Both were super chewy, but not because they were overcooked. The quality of the meat was just so poor. My mouth was getting sore from chewing. Of the ~16 total pieces of meat, only 1 was truly edible, the rest I chewed up and spit out when my jaw got tired (probably 80% ended up in the garbage). The only positive thing was the portion size, each skewer had ~8 pieces of meat Baklava ($5) - Ok. 1 medium sized piece cut into 2 triangles. Fresh. Kinda soggy and too sweet though. I've had better I don't feel like the food was lower quality or bad because it was cheap, prices seemed fair/normal. Service was good in the sense that they were able to accommodate my no salt and medium rare request. Not busy at 7:30 pm on a Sunday. They have TVs showing sports. No outdoor seating. Came here for the first time and ordered a combo plate with chicken and steak with an extra order of lamb skewers. It came with rice and avgolemono soup (2 sides of my choice), and baklava for dessert. First off, the meats (chicken/steak/lamb) are all pretty great. They're seasoned well but if I had to be picky, the chicken is only marinated well on the outside. The inside is a bit more bland so perhaps marinate or have the chicken sit in the seasoning longer for it to absorb into the meat. The steak however was pretty good. That was tender and well seasoned. That goes with the lamb as well. Definitely convinced the steak and lamb are their best meats. For the rice, since it was also seasoned and sat underneath the meats, it was able to absorb some of the sauce making it really delicious. The soup itself was good and while it's not super sour which is nice, it's also nothing special? Like it's avgolemono soup. But maybe that's the way the soup is to begin with. Finally, the baklava, while it is super good, I'm not entirely sure if it's considered authentic. So far I've had various baklavas from different restaurants either leaning towards honey sweet + floral/herbal accents, or more apple pie taste. This was definitely in the apple pie realm. Not saying it's bad, it's super good. But if you're looking for authentic, maybe Afghani restaurants are better for that (i.e. Fremont Afghan Kabob). But to each their own. For the price paid, the portions are extremely generous. Even my food was enough for two meals! So I am super stoked about that. Not sure if I'd necessarily come back given that it is a bit of a 20+ min drive for me but it's definitely a keeper if I ever crave Mediterranean food and don't mind going out farther. read more

When I have a craving for gyros, I always go to Mikonos Grill to satisfy my craving. This local mom and pop emphasizes on both quantity and quality. I always get their lamb gyro with French fries and salad. They really do give you an excess amount of fries AND lamb! It is definitely worth your money since it costs around $11-12. I ordered mine for delivery and it was so delicious. There was nothing wrong but I do think that the salad dressing is a bit too heavy for my liking. You should opt it out for something else or just put less salad sauce. read more

My fiancée took me here and yes, it was delicious! First off, this place is like dining inside a small restaurant inside Santorini. The service is friendly, the place is bright and clean, and the food is pretty much on point. We ordered their gyro combo platters which were packed with 3 items: A juicy side of freshly crisp Greek salad. The olives pop in your mouth and the tomatoes are nice and ripe. Their fries are fried perfectly; gold color and thick. The gyro itself was ok I thought. The meat wasn't fully grilled all around and there was no real flavor out of the beef/lamb mix. I thought the meat was slightly rubbery and bland. We also ordered some falafels for an appetizer and they were crispy and tasted great with the creamy hummus. I absolutely love how they give you three sauce bottles of white creamy Tzatziki, Smokey chili pepper sauce, and ketchup for the fries. My favorite was their baklava! I'm not sure where they get these from BUT they are grade-A baklavas. The baklava's have a nice cinnamon and slight cardamon hint to them which are just amazing! What a gem!!!!! We came here after arriving at the hotel across the street. We had a long drive and didn't feel like venturing out more to find something to eat. Walked across the street and SO glad we did! The inside was not huge but on a Friday night we still found seating right away. I got the falafel and avgolemono soup. Mikonos Grill is our go-to restaurant for chicken souvlaki. We usually get it in sandwich form which comes in a pita/flatbread covered with tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce. I add hot sauce to mine. The chicken is always moist and with the char on it adds great flavor. The portion is large enough to satisfy most appetites, especially for us since we share side of french fries too. It's been a long time since I've had the lamb but I remember liking that too. It's a very casual restaurant where you order at the counter then seat yourself. They always have some sport playing on the TV's. I don't know if it's the owner, but one of the gentlemen does recognize us from time to time and is very friendly. The entire staff has always been professional and courteous. This Greek restaurant is a cross between a fast food and traditional sit down restaurant. The quality of food is noteworthy. The food is simple but amazingly flavorful. Today I had the Gyro Plate. The 'Plate' means you get 2 sides with your entree. I got a gyro with a Mediterranean green salad and crispy hot fries. The gyro is FILLED with meat. Freshly cut off the traditional vertical rotating grill. Great flavors and spices. Soft fresh pita bread and topped with tomato, red onion and taziki sauce. The gyro is huge and a meal by itself. One of the best I've ever had. The side fresh salad was lightly dressed and the fries were fresh out of the fryer, super crispy and lightly salted. This is a great affordable counter service Greek restaurant that should be on every one's radar. read more
