I just drove away from this place because I could see multiple workers on the line and at the shake station either completely un-masked or with their masks under their chins talking away. An un-masked employee came outside and spoke to other customers in their car. When I asked the order taker (who put her mask on as she was exiting the building) what the mask policy is, she said she didn't know. Unacceptable. My family has really enjoyed the food here, but unless there is a strong, public, address to this violation of basic pandemic food safety, we will not come here again. read more

I have only been to Mikie's once and unfortunately will not return. The food was tasty and fresh if too greasy. I can't attest to the ambience since I went through the drive thru. The service was typical fast food restaurant quality. What turned me off was the pricing. $5 for an order of onion rings and around $10 for a burger is a bit too much to spend to get what is merely fast food. It isn't worth it. The onion rings were advertised as homemade, but I get the same taste at home if I buy frozen onion rings and deep fry them. For just slightly more in price, I can dine in and receive table service and the attention of wait staff at a budget friendly burger joint similar to Red Robin. I guess this is why I seldom see many customers there. Mikie's hasn't learned the flexibility in demand for fast food. read more

I really like this place but tonight I was more rushed. Every order I said I was getting talked over, the girl was asking questions so fast I couldn't understand. Would not let me finish telling her how I'd like what's on my burgers and asked if that was all repeatedly. So I felt really rushed and I got my food and it looks like our burgers were pressed down on purpose. I have pictures of 2 and the other 2 were also pressed down flat as well. We will still eat these because we have gone all day to eat from work. There's some customer service adjustments that is needed with the employees. We spend a lot of money here it sucks to lose more customers like this. read more

Having now had a -- couple more -- of Mikie's hamburgers and now the peanut butter shakes, gotta bump these guys up a star. It is now my favorite old school hamburger. I add jalapenos to my double bacon cheese burger. Very good. Still great chili. But the milkshakes. Oh boy, how in the world did I not have a peanut butter milkshake before these guys. Amazing. And this business is amazingly hardworking during the covid crisis. The young employees here are amazingly hard working and diligent. I know it has to be stressful and hard working now, but they really do handle it well and they never get orders wrong. So lots of kudos are deserved to the employees. read more

There's just one thing that I hope will change; & that's the really dirty mats on the floor. I always forget about this place!!! I've had to wait pretty long a few times...but it's totally worth the wait. The inside is a cute retro dinner and the burgers are delicious. I always appreciate how hard the staff works. They all seem pretty young and I like that they give kids a step into the work force. I like to get the number one combo. I've avoided Mikie's for years and years because the last time I ate here, I got a bad case of food poisoning. Stopped in with the family last night to give it a second try. Prices are a little on the high side. It's higher than fast food, and just below a burger place like Red Robin. The quality of the food was good, and everything tasted great. The kids loved that their meals came in classic cardboard cars. Overall, the food was good. The interior needs a deep cleaning pretty badly. One of the back of the house employees was a bit on the grumpy side when she brushed past us, but the cashier was very friendly and that made up for it. They also refilled the kids' drinks, which is something I also keep an eye out for. Their onion rings were pretty damn good. Oh, and I didn't get sick this time! Overall, I'd recommend. read more

I've been frequenting this place for about 5 years now and counting! I love their fish and chips, clam chowder, root beer frosty and their juicy burgers. Note that I've never tried any other burgers but their 'mushroom melts'. You won't find this on their menu, but they'll know exactly what you mean once you ask for it! What I love about their version of mushroom melts burger is that it comes with bacon. You can never go wrong with bacon! The only problem I have is the consistency of the burgers. There has been a few times where the buns were too soggy or they'd forget the bacon in my burgers. What I do now is to check my orders before I leave just in case things like that happen again. Mikie's always delivers a pretty solid burger...mine is the bacon cheeseburger. And if I'm really feeling naughty, I'll order an Oreo shake. And you can add malt flavor to any shake. Delicious. If you go with a root beer, they serve it in a frosted glass. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum. Not a lot of space to sit inside, but I've never been when it's super crowded, so I always find room. read more

We moved to Everett a couple years ago. We pass it all the time, finally took the time to swing in for a burger. Both my husband and I went for burgers but found ourselves going for the fish and chips. It was the best fish and chips ever! We won't be able to go to Ivars again!! Such a cool restaurant. The food is super fun. The vibe is 50's chic. My daughter got a kids meal and it came in this super cute box that looked like an old Chevy that was hot pink. I can't remember the last time I had a burger this bad. Pre frozen patties. I got a triple burger that was maybe the equivalent of a 1/4 pound. The whole burger looked like it was microwaved...lettuce, tomatoes, everything. Couldn't even finish eating it because it was barely edible. read more

The food is pretty good! I went on a Saturday during lunchtime so it was pretty busy. I went through the drive through and even though it was busy it didn't take long. The workers were very nice. The parking lot is pretty small and kind of confusing. In order to go to the drive through I had to actually leave the parking lot, go around the block and come in the other way. If you want to go to the drive through you need to go in the entrance on HWY 99 and not the side street. read more

So almost nailed it. The staff was very welcoming, let me take my time to look over the menu, which consists of the true diner goto's burgers, fries, hotdog's, shakes. I ended up opting for the Combo #1 ($10.00+tax) which includes fries freshly made lightly salted and filled of flavor! A Bacon cheeseburger also was freshly made as well, and came with a drink which of course did the classic Coke, they do have your regular Coke products (Sprite,Diet Coke, Minute maid lemonade, Fanta Orange, Barqs root beer, and Mr. Pibb). The burger was very tasty with the mix of Mayo, Mustard and catsup with just the right amount of pickles to add a little more zing. However with so many great things to say. The CLEANLINESS was way below standard which kills the 60's diner feel. The table I sat at was clean however if you take a look at the floor of the restaurant it is incredibly dirty. Not sure how long it has been since it was swept cause there is a noticable amount food crumbs and napkins on the floor and the Carpets are filled with it as well. Makes you wonder what the kitchen and food preparation area looks like. **Despite the cleanliness I will most likely be returning to try a milk shake and their chicken options. I'm not sure if it was an accident or a prank, but I just spent 50 bucks on food for my family just to have it drowned in tarter sauce. Got home to find two ramekins of tarter sauce I didn't even ask for, shoved into the bag, both with NO LID!.. everything was completely soggy and Inedible. Today I am deeply disappointed by the customer service. It is Sunday, Father's Day, my guests from out of state and I decided to once again buy dinner here. It is one of our favorite Everett places to take food out. We placed a BIG order inside. We brought it home and discovered that some items we purchased were not there. We called to explain this and to let them know one of us would be coming back. We didn't expect to pay. The counter person insisted we did not order these items. Something , I don't know, like making us line up to lick a pillar of salt and pay fifty bucks for the pleasure you would think would warrant an"I'm sorry" or how can we make this right. Let me put this this as clearly as I can. Your kitchen failed. They sold us disgusting food and we tip them. I'm shocked there was no salt in the root beer float. Which was delicious. If you screw up.... Own it..... otherwise why bother.........we called and they literally couldn't care less. Sadly Mikies disappointed tonight. Finally got around to trying this place. Given the reviews, I thought it couldn't be a bad choice, but yikes Everett- you got this one wrong. We got a couple burgers- very slim, bland and saucy. Mine had cold bacon and a slightly fishy taste. Definitely not what I'm looking for in a burger. The fish and chips were equally disappointing- small, over-fried fish pieces- with a strong fish smell. It also came with cold bland fries and KFC cole-slaw. I'm pretty sure the cole-slaw is repackaged KFC- which tastes fine- but just go to KFC if that's what u are looking for. Save yourself and go down the street to Nick's Jr., much better food. read more

Mikie's has been an establishment we have visited for over a decade. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. Recently however the customer service has dissolved into oblivion. Apparently the young ladies working here have lost the art of problem solving or customer satisfaction when working a customer service job. We had a milkshake that was as thick as scooped ice cream and when we asked to have them thinned out we were told to pay for a cup and a bottle of milk and mix it ourselves lol. read more

They are incredibly affordable and filling. -Their milkshakes are fantastic! And use local Darigold products. My husband and I went in for lunch because we were hungry for fish and chips and heard Mikies had the best. We sat down and waited about 20 minutes for our food and when it got to our table it was barely warm. My husband took a bite of his fish and found a hair in it we informed the manager about it and she apologized and took our name to compensate a free meal. When I returned to get the meal I was disrespected and treated like I was a homeless Beggar. I am by no means homeless, I have a great job and a warm home. To be treated this way by the owner was very rude and uncalled for. Homeless or not rich or poor you should never treat people this way.
