Chris and Mike over at Mikesigns provided the most spectacular customer service !! I reached out to them early Friday morning in search of a 4x8 banner, with no design, and in need of same day printing... (our original printing biz fell through) After calling almost 10 places, I finally came across Mikesigns and Chris was quick to help me out!! He offered to make a design for us, and had a quick turnaround doing so! Within an hour, he had already sent over a design for review ! We emailed back and forth a few times, and I then accepted the design to be printed! He quickly got back to me and said our banner would be ready in 10 minutes!!!!!! When I arrived, I took a look at the banner and noticed that 4/5 images were sharp and clear but 1. Chris offered to re-print for me if I found a sharper image ! I am very pleased with their customer service ! They really took a load off my shoulders and now we will be able to have a beautiful banner at our food service event tomorrow! Letterman jacket: Quality stitching in patchwork. BUT, Takes too long for the order to come in and then die the patches to be stitched on. IMO. BUT It was nice to have sample jackets for sizing (we would have gotten the wrong size had there not been samples). lady was knowledgeable about jacket and patch placement which was helpful too. Would have liked more communication regarding when jacket would be completed. I had to call to inquire and once one lady couldn't tell me and would have the gal in charge call me which she did not. So I had to call back 2x to finally get answers. read more

When businesses, such as this one, who do such an amazing job they deserve praise and a good rating not just a review when there are hiccups along the road. This business truly deserves a 5 star rating. After a long and hard search to see which embroidery place could do tackle twill I finally found the perfect place! Chris was super accommodating and understanding. I had a project of replicating an old sweater and they did it for a very fair price. I will be recommending this business to my friends and family who need any embroidery needs because they are very professional yet talk to you like a friend. No response after three conversations. I spoke to mike by phone and sent a picture as he suggested of a sign as an example of what I hoped to get this company to do. I called three times and each time he acted like he would follow through and get it done. I should have realized by the third call that he had no plans to do the job. I guess it was too small a job for him. All he needed to say is just that. Four weeks later and I have not heard back. I have now called another company who has followed through with the request. Response from them is here :Funny. How unprofessional and immature. Will be posting in other websites too their "Funny" responses. How Juvenile. After coming to them to get some t-shirts made and everything sounding good, it's been over a month and a half and Mike and his son(who was very rude over the phone) seem to be avoiding us and the job at all costs. After talking to friends we found out that Mike doesn't really care at all about doing t-shirts anymore and just cares about the letterman jackets, this all makes sense. But, if you don't want to take on a job, just say so. Instead we've been wasting our time on a company that doesn't care about their customers needs unless you have a letterman jacket. It's a shame since I'm sure he would do a good job, but the lack of communication and blatant ignoring of us trying to contact him and not following through with the job is just pathetic. If it was possible to give them zero stars I would, considering nothing is still done and I'm sure they're just hoping we forget about it and go somewhere else. Put shirts in a week ago to have embroidery done. Went back today and Chris was at the counter. He said we can't do it here is your shirt back. After standing there with my mouth open, I asked why after a week, I had to go in and be told this. He said "You're lucky it was only a week". I then had to ask for the sweatshirt, jacket and other shirts. After two more trips to find the rest of my items, he tossed them on the counter, threw away the bag that I had brought all the folded items into the store in and I left. Unbelievable, I will never go back and hope no one else is treated this way. read more

So I received a call this morning from an employee at Mike's Sign's asking me to come in today for an update on my daughters letterman's jacket. Dumb me thinking it came in early and took my daughter with me hoping it was here to try on. NOT THE CASE!!! As soon as Mike and the E approached me it was Mike stating he was cancelling the order because I complained about the long shipping process on Facebook. WHAT?? What does this have to do with anything? And really? My kid is right here and you just told her sorry your not getting it after waiting 2 months. BAD BAD BUSINESS. Said he can "SELL THE SNOT" out of Salinas High jackets and basically doesn't want our business. I'm actually glad now that my daughter went so she could see how NOT TO RUN A BUSINESS. Worst possible experience! Not only is the owner rude, insulting and unprofessional, he encourages the same behavior in his staff. Dealing with them was a nightmare which I am just glad is over. There are other places to have quality work done. Do your research and go there. It isn't worth having so much as a moment wasted on dealing with this company. I am thankful I will never have to! He further makes his point in his response to this comment. He has also omitted some parts but you get the idea. I was JUSTIFIABLY upset and he only had sarcasm, insults and more unprofessional behavior. The point: he didn't do his job and his response to someone being unhappy with his lack of service is a poor attitude and horrible customer service. There are too many professionals in the world to put up with anyone who isn't. It's one thing to not be able to cage your demons long enough to do your job. The one glowing review authored by Bob B. is a stark contrast with my experience at Mike's Signs. I dropped off a military jacket for embroidery 5 weeks ago. The job required completion one week before Veterans Day for additional work prior to that holiday. I felt that a generous time frame of 5 weeks would be sufficient. I was never so wrong about a business. Initially, Mike informed me that I would receive an Email before the beginning of this project for final approval. I checked almost daily for it. Mike never sent it. At the beginning of the 5th week, I drove to Mike's for the status of the jacket. Chris, his son, assured me that I would receive that Email on Friday, so I could check for corrections, if needed. That Email was never sent. Meanwhile, I was contacting other businesses out of the area for my job that were capable of a quick turnaround. I found several. Monday morning I contacted Mike, by phone, that I needed my jacket immediately (I was out of time) because I had to give this job to another embroidery business. He informed me that his son, Chris, was at the business and that he would "assist" me. When I arrived to Mike's signs, my jacket was unguarded on the front counter without the presence of Chris. I asked for my instructions that I had left with the project. Chris was unable to locate them. After going from one room to another, they were located. That in itself spoke volumes. I doubt if he had any intentions of starting the job. No corrections, solutions or apologies were offered. Anyone that allows Mike's Signs their business, be wary that it is a gamble. He may deliver/he may not. I will never contact this business for any work. For me, it was a waste of time. There is another adverse review, on yelp, similar to mine, but you have to "dig for it" and with that incident, the customer gave Mike's one week to handle/complete the job and Mike failed. read more

In early January I emailed them to have 2 sets of stickers made up, here we are on February 20 and still no reply or stickers. Maybe I had too small of an order but they should have specified that when I called. I will NEVER go back. They have crappy customer service!!
