Another year, another smog. It's always great service and it's fast. Lowest in the valley. They're honest people who are honest with their pass or fail pricing. I wish I could gatekeep this place, but that wouldn't be fair. More people should know about them. So, if you need a smog COME HERE! read more

I've been using Mikes for all of my family's vehicles for the last few years, and I would never imagine taking my vehicles anywhere else. They're prompt, they get the job done correctly. They're always there with a smile for you. This is a family owned business. And I appreciate having the opportunity to be of support to them because of their service. Used to visit the place that was closer to my house and I'm sad to hear that the owner of the building has forced the family out so they are over at the older location on Indio Blvd. They are always fast, friendly, and efficient. Don't hesitate to go here for your smog certification. read more

Family owned. Awesome service. Highly recommended. Fast efficient and cost effective. Will see you again in 2 years.

I took my 2016 Mini Cooper into Mike's Smog based on recommendations from several friends of my husband. " Go to Mike's!" they raved about the service. I called Mike's in advance, and they were ready for me when I arrived. They took my DMV renewal docs, moved my car into the test area. As I waited, I looked around the office, I noted the cleanliness of the premises, then I noticed the customer seating - two very nice, business-like matching sofas. Very well done, and obviously concerned about the comfort of the customer. Mike's didn't feel like some other independent auto service places I've experienced. This was a big step up from the iffy environments with a bunch of nasty furniture where you're not sure if it's just better to stand. The next thing I know, the door to the test area opens, and I get the '"You're all set" from a member of Mike's family. Then they tell me "We sent your test results electronically into DMV, so all you need to do is go on line and pay your registration fee and you're all done." Mike's was thoroughly professional and the service level was off the charts; A complete pleasure to do business with. I was beyond impressed. They could hold a seminar on how to treat customers. I'm delighted to give Mike's Smog of Indio a sincere Five Star recommendation. read more

Very friendly folks, really easy access, was in and out in no time - great experience.

They were super friendly, super fast. Highly recommended! Let's face it, no one loves to get their car smogged. The negative reviews seem to be from people whose cars failed... the lady in front of me, her car failed... they explained to her exactly why and what she needed to do. It was a pleasant interaction. I had maybe three people in front of me in line, in and out maybe 20 minutes total. Awesome place! read more

This is one of my new favorite businesses in the Valley. Family owned. I was greeted by "Mom" as I got out of my car, she cheerfully explained what was going to happen and how much it would cost. Less than 20 minutes later, I was on my way home. But that 20 minutes was great. I got to talk to Mom and her daughter about the business and their history there. If you need quick, efficient, and friendly...this is the place@ read more

I recently moved to Indio and needed a smog certification. I searched online and found Mike's Smog Check, which had excellent reviews. I pulled up a man greeted me and immediately took the car into the garage bay area. Inside, a nice woman handed me a clipboard and asked me to complete my name, address, phone, etc. She left for a couple of minutes to return and told me the car passed and I paid $62.00. I couldn't believe how fast and efficient they were less than 5 minutes by the time I arrived. Amazing service. I highly recommend them. read more
