After trying 5 other places for a quick no appointment smog check and getting turned away, I figured I'd try one more place. Alas, Ozone Smog! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were friendly and made the process quick and easy to navigate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Grateful I tried one more place on this late Friday afternoon the day after a holiday and even more grateful to have received such great care considering all those factors. First time here. I called before arriving to inquire about the wait time. The person helping me was very thorough in explaining the 1st come, first serve policy, but also letting me know that there was no one, so I should come now. I came with a bunch of papers, not knowing what to do. The person helping me took the time to look through the paperwork and help explain to me what I needed to do and where I needed to go afterward. Overall, it was a very easy experience. I do recommend this place! read more

At 26,000 miles there was less than 2mm of tread on each tire. The tires they provide with the stock automobile are garbage. The Ford dealer wanted close to $1,200 for a new set of these cheap tires. Quickly realized I should just let them do the basic service, find someone better for tires. Wednesday at 630 PM I visited Mountain View. Saul took immediate care of me. Told him I wanted great tires that could handle all types of terrain. Made it clear I wanted a good deal but also wanted premium tires. Saul understood my needs, sold me a set of premium Yokohama all terrain and a wheel alignment. Price was a bit over $1,300. I did some online research and this deal was clearly competitive. Dropped off my car at Noon Thursday, picked up the vehicle later that night. He had my car in a bay in case it needed to stay overnight, eliminate any potential problems. The tire work was done perfectly. Saul is a really nice guy, honest and cares about the customers. He was a perfect gentleman with me. Guaranteed I will be using these folks for future service as well.

After holding it for three days, Vince told me he couldn't figure it out and "doesn't work on valves." This is the same guy who repeatedly mentioned having 45 years of experience and working on Hondas with over 400k Instead of fixing it, he told me to go to the dealer for a $1300 repair he wouldn't or couldn't do--and then charged me $350 for diagnostic time. Imagine being told, "I can't fix it, but you still owe me $350." I feel cheated, because I never said not to do the work--I would have let him fix it. I basically paid $350 for his lack of knowledge. For som eone claiming decades of experience, a basic Honda V6 shouldn't be "too complex." Save yourself the headache, time, and money. If it's not just an oil change or something simple, go straight to a dealer or a shop with trained techs. Thats exactly what I paid 350 for so just start at the dealer.

5 Stars based on customer service alone! Used their website to inquire about their services and received a call with a few minutes! Asked about coming in during my lunch break and about matching a coupon, Diego said no problem. Unfortunately due to time constraints I was unable to wait, but even after I left Diego called me to ask about my visit to the shop and to see about coming back the following day. I've never experienced such great follow up! And this is even with out actually getting service done. I will return to get my smog completed, and will highly recommend anyone looking for their smog to get it done at Ozone. read more

Moved here from Orange County 3 weeks ago and needed to get my 1996 Camry with 370,000 miles on it smoged. I found Ozone on yelp, called and spoke with Diego that I would be coming in tomorrow 30 mins prior to them closing. Hands down the best smog shop in the desert! I was recommended to ozone smog from a friend and now I see why they sent me to see Diego at Ozone Smog! I called before I came to the shop and he told me all the steps needed to register the vehicle in California. I would need to go to the DMV and register the vehicle in California and get the vehicle weighed since it's a truck from out of state. Diego even stayed late to do the smog and it passed! I called on my lunch break and asked how long. They said 20 minutes. I got right in and they also let you pay your registration right there. SUPER convenient and Diego was very friendly. I'm huge on convenience and this scored big for me. In a perfect world I think ahead and make appointments buuuuut...Lol. $61 out the door with the certificate is the right price as well. And $5 off for writing a Yelp review too!! read more

Getting smog check is a hassle, no two ways about it. But this place makes it as painless as possible. I first took my Mazda Protege there, then a couple of weeks later my Toyota Tercel. In both instances, the whole process took less than half an hour. The tech was friendly and fast, the price totally reasonable. I'll be bringing my Toyota Highlander here when the time comes. Great customer service! I walked in for my first time and had a great experience from start to finish. I came in on a Monday around 11 and there was no wait time and only took about 15 min! It was 61$ for a smog check which is around the average price for a smog check. They also offer a service where you can pay your registration here and get your sticker and card right away! Quick and Easy process - Diego (tech) got me right in and smogged, no problem. I was treated very respectfully and professionally. My car required a STAR smog station and they were convenient and reasonably priced. My 2005 Ford Taurus has about 157k miles and I guess California wants to get it off the road. But it passed and is good to go! American made iron! I would do business with him again. read more

Really can't go wrong with this place. There are no "estimated prices." Prices are listed and there are no surprise fees when the bill comes in. Customer service is professional and friendly. Called to see if we could come in same day and wasn't a problem. $61 for my smog check plus $5 off for a good review. I like discounts, but I wouldn't give a good review unless I truly believed in it. read more

A little hard to find but worth it! I stopped in without an appointment due to an issue with the DMV. They called the guy who performs smog checks, since he happened to be off the property for other work and he arrived in minutes. Once there, he quickly took care of my smog check and I was out the door in no time. Super friendly and fast...what more can you ask for? read more

I had an appointment at another Smog station who's machine was broken and had only one hour before catching a flight. Ozone took me in and very quickly and efficiently tested my car. They even had the DMV renewal stickers so I was done with the license renewal! I will use them next time and recommend them very strongly. read more

Parents and their local Taxi employer's trust them, so you know they're legit. I went in for my first smog check and was surprised by how easy it all was.
