I pulled up to this shop cause I needed a smog for my truck registration. I got right in and the tech was so super nice. Hooked my vehicle up and it seemed like only a couple minutes and the dude said,"You passed". The price was good and the service was great! I went in a couple of months ago to get a smog check and Charles gave me a "pre smog test", since I'd recently gotten a new engine. It didn't pass. Charles said there are tutorials on YT that explains how to do that...it didn't work. I took it to the dealership, and they fixed it. I took it to Cono's yesterday, and they had me in and out in 15 minutes. Charles was very kind and professional! read more

$50 smog check... he said it would take 15 minutes but he had another customer ahead of me and I ended up waiting about 45 minutes but there's a small office you can wait in with cool AC. Overall good experience & affordable smog check! read more

A good mechanic will tell you possible things that happen to most people before they spend money on his shop and charge them again. Making excuse and asking for another payment is common practice of a conn man. Take you car somewhere else. You may pay a little bit higher but with a guaranteed result read more

I got a smog check. It passed. The reason for three stars is because after 30 minutes of the most meticulous intense inspection of: exhaust, battery, gas cap, under the hood, under dashboard, tires (WTF?), multiple high speed drives on machine...he then rev'd the hell out of my engine multiple times while video recording my exhaust with his phone, looking for any hint of smoke. What's the point of sticking your expensive high-speed smog equipment in my exhaust if you still need a video of it? And he reminded me how expensive his equipment is which is why he charged me $80. Nowhere in my smog certificate did it show that my car past the video inspection. Ultimately, I didn't appreciate him reving the hell out of my engine for an unnecessary video. I take care of my cars. And in the end it felt like he was looking for a reason to fail my inspection. Never again. read more

I showed up right after what must have been a lunch break. From the stop light I watched as Cono removed a sign from the roll up door and proceeded to open shop. I parked and was immediately greeted and promptly served. I would recommend anyone to stop by here for professional, courteous, and in my case immediate service. I love to find local small shops like this that treat their customer's well. read more

The service cannot get any better. The address is straight forward. Take Jackson N to 44th, make a left and its right there on the right side of the street. In and out is 20 minutes with the certificate in your hands at a straight fair price of $50.00 Plus, I asked for a place to change my windshield wiper? This is the first time I have visited CONOS Smog Stop and I am happy to say that I was VERY pleased. The service is First Rate, the prices are competitive, and the wait time??? 15 minutes or less. In, Out, DONE! What more do you want from a Star Smog Check Station. Do yourself a favor and drive right past the others on Jackson Street. You want to take your car to CONOS. read more
