*Value Smog is Top Dog* I'm here to confirm that all the other 5-star reviews are true & legit. Called and spoke to Joe. Very friendly and professional. Mentioned I found him on Yelp, then made an appointment. No frills shop in Cat City near Rancho Mirage. Joe had me in & out in less than 10 minutes. Joe gave me a $5 Yelp discount, so it was $55 for smog check + certificate. Can't beat that. I paid nearly $70, 2 years ago at a different shop. No one likes the extra cost, and time & effort to get a car smog checked. But thanks to Joe, it's seamless. {{{Big~High~5}}} read more

There's something so special to have such a skilled technician who is completely honest and kind taking care of your smog needs. Joe is that person. He is so courteous, kind, professional and above all honest! I've been bringing my vehicle (now two) to Joe for 12 years and will never go anywhere else. I make an appointment and there is never a wait. In and out in 10 minutes. His wife is equally sweet and I always look forward to seeing them. Hands down the best service I've gotten anywhere. Support this local business, you'll be very happy with the friendly and top notch service he provides! read more

Found this Smog Shop on Yelp & service was spot on- quick, friendly & efficient! Happy customer

The european maker of my car placed the emissions label in an inaccessable place that would have required an expensive and laborious interior disassembly to access. Joseph worked with me while we found an alternate way to find that information and I was able to pass the smog test. Very patient and a true gentleman. This is the shop that Porsche Palm Springs uses and recommends and I understand why. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read more

Zero stars and no excuses from your manager. As a veteran I'm incensed at such poor service and lack of communication between workers at this place. I arrived there around 11 a.m. and was told by a male at the office, "The technician is out to lunch." I returned back to their shop near 12 p.m. and the young man then tells me, "Oh, he won't be back until 1 p.m." Once the technician returns he tells me, "Oh, I can't do your vehicle today, but I can do it tomorrow at 1 p.m. I'm guessing that the office person did not have access to any "schedule" or the technician just works when he wants. Save your money and your time...go elsewhere. read more

Friendly service. Fast service. I was also impressed with good information posts on walls about what to do when you come in for smog tests. What a great experience with this business. I have been putting of the required smog check for weeks. On a whim I called T 9:15 am Saturday. I was told be here at 10:30. I was a little early, walked in told the gentleman I had a 10:30. I gave him the DMV paper and the key he said have a seat it shouldn't be too long. Exactly 15 minutes later he came into waiting and said all done. He gave me a bill for $48. He even left the car in the shade of the garage. What a genuinely nice man and experience.
