Garbage beef

Last time I went I asked for an extra grilled roll. I get there the guys making my order and goes extra grilled meat I said no extra grilled roll. they take your order then hang up. He says we always grill the roll. I said yeah I just want it extra. They act annoyed then serve us these. beyond inedible can't believe I ate a good amount it made me feel sick. furthermore they didn't grill the roll at all which tells me it was intentional. If it was a mistake I would have gone back but it was like how do you like that guy... so this is my retaliation. I was a server for 10 years so I know how to not be a rude customer. I'm beside myself with this place. Learn how to treat customers!

My first time. Place is a hidden gem for a good roast beef. Solid all around. Great portions, flavor, and toasted bun.

UM YUMMMM. Found this place on yelp coming from the city and let me tell you...mike you did not disappoint. If you're looking for delicious grub right off route one check this place out! FRESH ingredients large side portions. I also liked the little sleeve they put the subs in. Check it out!

Great subs. I miss the good food found all over in New England and Mike's did not disappoint. The steak bomb was quite good.

Saugus native so slightly biased, but still easily the best roast beef I've had to date. The chicken kebab is also unreal.

A decent roast beef sandwich, thin slice. Small place, a visit once in a great while to many other good places to eat.

The interior is very small so if you are a group, I recommend sending a designated person to order. We went standard Lobster Rolls with butter on the side. There was a little confusion about line order but they were very apologetic. There are very limited chairs in the lot to eat at and I think maybe 1 picnic table? We decided to bring it home to eat. The result was a slightly less than warm roll, but the FLAVAH! Delicious and the chips were good too. Anything Lobster is a bit of a splurge but very worth it!

Amazing place with fresh seafood! We ordered lobster rolls to eat there (what a view of Little…read moreHarbor) in arondack chairs! We also ordered clam chowder (cold) to enjoy later for dinner. Everything there is fresh - boat to table! Cooking and prepping on all on site! We were told the lobsters were cooked at 3am this morning! That's fresh. We had our lobster rolls with butter but they also offer with mayo. The buns were nicely toasted setved with homade chips! The lobster meat, just stop there, tail, claws, all parts, and so much of it! Well worth every dollar we paid! There were lobsters in the tank and when one of the staff members pulled out one for photos ops! It was so fun! Very nice and friendly staff. It shows they are family (two families) owned and runned! Our meals came out faster than expected and we're brought out to our chairs. They have a good selection of wines and beers! Great place for lunch or picking up items for dinner at home! If you are any where near Marblehead, make sure yo stop of for lobster rolls at The Little Harbor Lobster Company.

I was not very impressed by Dryft in Revere, MA. My sisters and I were meeting a local friend here…read morefor dinner. We had a reservation and were seated right away and with water and menus. One half hour later, our waitress finally came to take our order after walking back and forth ignoring us for that 30 minutes. When our waitress took our orders, there was no apology for the long wait either. The food we ate was good, but not worth the wait. The portions were generous, and I couldn't finish mine. One sis ordered lobster roll with slaw, pickles and fries. She found it to be underwhelming, particularly the texture. I had the Dryft cheeseburger covered in caramelized onions and fries as a side. It was a big burger, well cooked, and I deconstructed it, to have less bun. The plentiful onions were a nice addition, and I liked the fries. The other sis ordered chicken under a brick, which was a fried boneless chicken breast under mashed potatoes, chicken jus, and brussels. She substituted asparagus for the brussels. Sis was highly satisfied with her whole meal and ate it all. Our host had a salad, but I didn't catch which one. It was large, not particularly noteworthy, and she didn't finish it either. The place was really noisy, which made conversation difficult. One other thing I noticed: all the female staff were wearing very short black skirts or shorts while the male staff members wore long black pants. I didn't inquire about a dress code or uniform, but it seemed sexist to me.

Usually I stick to New…read moreHampshire but I had family in town and of course they all wanna see Boston so I looked up a spot around the area we were in and The Blue Ox should up. Once inside we were seated very quickly... We started with some Crispy Calamari that had peppers and a nice chipotle aioli sauce that went well together. Then we had the Mussels which were very good, it had lots of garlic which we love and it has white wine with heirloom tomatoes. Both appetizers were amazing. Now for my dish I went with the Sin Burger due to seeing a bunch awards for this burger so I had to try. So the burger I ordered was made medium with bacon, truffle aioli and Swiss cheese. It was so good and this dish was the highlight of my night. It was made to perfection and everything went well together in the burger. I'll definitely be back just to eat the burger again. So if you're around Lynn then be sure to give this spot a try. You won't be disappointed!

We tried the "demon seed" the blood orange old fashioned, the "bacon and legs" the "dirty and hot" and the limoncello sipper for dessert. Food wise, we did tuna tartar that I didn't think was spicy but my friend did. It had a nice whipped cream cheese as a base with some homemade chips. Normally I don't like chips but these were good. We also tried the wings. Piping hot, perfect crispness and the house blue cheese I could have eaten with a spoon. We came after a beach day so not our best dressed but we were treated like royalty either way. Definitely a place to return!
