Better than Jeremiah's! Tucked away in a dilapidated shopping strip, you'll find Mike's Italian Ice. It's a family-owned and operated institution that's ready to satisfy your need for some tasty Italian ice. I found this place purely by accident -- a happy accident. There are tons of flavors and you can have as many flavors as you want! I personally love the mango and lemon. I usually get mine plain, but they do gelati too. Best yet, prices are more than reasonable and significantly cheaper than their competitors. Heck to the flippin' yes! I usually get the kid's size since a little goes a long way for me, but there are sizes to accommodate any craving. I'm a little sad that I don't live around that area anymore, but whenever I am -- they're my stop for a frozen dessert. P.S. If you're from a local school, they also do a lot of community sponsorships! Love it.

If you want some great and refreshing Italian ice, this is the place. It's clean, smells fresh and the lady that took care of us was really nice. I had a taste for Italian ice and found this place. I tried the lemon one as well. They were both equally great.

My favorite rainbow ice.

We stumbled upon this small Italian ice spot while taking a ride to find a Chase branch. This little Italian ice shop is hidden in a shopping center but is a "diamond in the rough". We walked into a very welcome smile of a women that tells us she's been part of this families spot for years. I can only think that with a warm welcoming smile she and the owners must truly love what they do. The flavors available seem endless and the possibilities of mixing are endless. The rainbow Italian ice is my absolute favorite, and my wife loves the gelato icy combo. The gelato is very original and is thicker and creamier than most I've tried. The shop is a very open floor plan so I had no problems maneuvering my wheelchair, and the seating is a little crowded however is easy moved so no worries with space and comfort. The front door is not accessible but the staff and other patrons were more than accommodating so again not a problem. I give my high four stars because the shop is a little run down and could use some touch up to make it feel more modern. I highly recommend Mike's Italian ice and I will be back on numerous occasions.

Nice treat!

Highly recommend excellent service. Great natural taste and smooth creamy texture. Sour apple and mango are my favorite.

I've gone here a total of two times now. The first time was when they first opened. It was so…read morecrowded and the prices were expensive for an ice cream crispy cone. This second time was a much better experience! Walking in, we were greeted by a worker there. There are tablets that take your order when you walk in. It's pretty self explanatory for ordering. I noticed the prices had gone down since the last time I went there and they were about $8 and some change per cone which I felt was fair. We waited a few minutes and our cones were ready. There were two tables inside but seating outside too, which we decided to hang. The cone is a donut like pastry that had Nutella on the inside. The cone was filled and then a lot more overflowing. Now the caramel was dripping down making such a mess but I didn't mind it, it added to the experience of such an elaborate desert. Make sure you have plenty of napkins on hand! I'm glad we sat outside because my cone was just dripping all over the place. I was trying to keep up with eating it so it wouldn't be so messy. I think it was a me problem because my friend that I was with wasn't nearly as messy as mine! There were trash cans outside so I can to go back inside to throw out the napkins and my cup. The lady who worked there thanked us again for coming in and said bye Overall a great experience. Again, I think it was a me problem with being so messy eating it so I won't take away a star for that!

Had to stop at Wafu for dessert, and this was such a good choice. I got the pandan soft serve…read moretopped with toasted coconut in an ube waffle cone, and it was as good as it looks. The pandan was smooth and creamy with that subtle, fragrant flavor that makes it so different from your typical soft serve. The toasted coconut added just the right amount of texture, and the ube waffle cone was crisp with a slightly sweet flavor that paired perfectly with the pandan. Also, can we appreciate the presentation? This cone was practically begging for a photo! A fun, unique dessert and definitely something I'd come back for. If you love pandan, coconut, or ube, this combo is a winner.

The matcha cream-filled waffle is always made fresh in-house for you. It is served warm and is just happiness in a little handheld pastry. Now, upon my most recent return, I learned they have a few rotational items on their menu as well as soft-serve ice cream options. While I did not get to try any of their newer items, I made a mental note to indulge in their pistachio soft-serve ice cream on my next visit. It truly made me happy to see how much bigger their menu has grown - which is always a GREAT sign. Since the shop itself is more of a order and go set-up, seating is located directly outside of the shop. Service has always been good for me, and the wait times are never more than 10-15 minutes pending the size of your order and how busy they happen to be. The staff is ALWAYS, and I mean, ALWAYS, so sweet. I have never had a bad experience here, and I am always very satisfied with my order(s). Pricing is good as well. Beyond that, it is in East End Market, so may the odds be ever in your favor when it comes to parking.
