Had I have known I could have gotten someone that was willing to do the work. I would never refer or attempt to use them again.

Power steering went out shortly after that and I haven't driving the car for two months. Took it to a trusted mechanic shop to diagnose again LAST WEEK and they confirmed it's the transmission that needs to be inspected by a transmission shop. I'll remove this review if the transmission shop confirms it's the ecu as well that needs to be replaced. (Response to owner) There's no issue I was waiting to confirm if the diagnoses given to me was correct to right my review. Forgive me for not remembering it was 125 exactly but , $125 for what auto zone does for free was my issue . I was expecting a real diagnosis by a mechanic to pin point the issue with accuracy and given a game plan not a simple computer diagnostic test that was for a code I already knew it had.

Mom had been taking her grand marquis to them for few years for just the oil change service, these…read morecars are extremely reliable, had around 80k miles on it, after last oil change and after 2nd engine start check engine light came on and had a strange "rattle" under the car, took it back to progressive and explained that never had light on before, owner had codes cleared mom went home but next day light returns and owner tells her she just needs to drive it and it will go out. I am a retired mechanic of 70 yrs old but I still have my own tools and started finding problems after their service work, first the rattle - they had lifted her car on the rear catalytic converters and partially crushed the interior membranes on both sides of car, next problem - check engine light - scan revealed issue with EVAP system which the issue was found to be 2 wires inside a rear wiring harness way above fuel tank and not exposed to external damage were cleanly cut with dikes that had left tool imprints on the wire. After repairing what these people destroyed purposely and them deliberately causing repairs to be needed, I believe they're in business to cause cars to need repairs for their own benefit ie even other shops are aware of progressive auto care's practices and they've reported to customers to be warned. I can see why they're not involved with the BBB, folks these people are dangerous and give real mechanics a bad overview. Just think about it owner is protrayes himself as a true Christian man, truth be known is wolf in a sheep's clothing.

horrible customer service!!! issac tried to over charge me and got mad because i didn't want him to…read moredo extra work on my car. the police was called and issca lied on me which was recorded!! issca, his son and his wife was rude!! i was forced to pay extra money when the police came because they couldn't do anything really but the officer did recommend that i sue issca which i am most definitely filing a lawsuit. issca still wouldn't give me my car keys after i did everything the officer asked me to do before he left. which was to pay in cash, pay the extra $100 and sign the receipt. i left to get more money out the atm and when i came back to pay and sign the receipt issca said that since my signature did not match the same signature from my quote he wasnt giving me back my keys. if cash was demanded what does my signature has to do with anything if i didnt pay with a credit card? so i had to call the cops again and when the cops came back they thought his reason for holding my keys was ridiculous. issca, his son and his wife then got mad at the officers because they made him give me my keys back. they was rude to the officers and they all got into an argument with the officers and told the officers to get off his property. after i drove off and headed home my car started to smoke and my wheel was hard to turn so when i pulled over and looked under the hood and either issca or his son took my serpentine belt off. which explains why his son kept going to my car while i was waiting across the street for the police to come. bad business and i will absolutely not recommend this shop to anyone. most horrible experience ever!!!! (the picture is what i seen when i lifted my hood. the serpentine belt was off and wrapped around something)
