This yahoo does more package deals than actual repair. We were selling our house. He came to inspect our furnace as had been requested by potential buyers. Not only did his technician inspect, he tagged and shut down the unit claiming danger. He then gave the estimate for repairs to potential buyers. The outrageous price included at least 3 service packages. THIS FURNACE WAS THEN REINSPECTED by 3 very reputable companies in our area. All 3 said furnace was safe and had life left in it. He's making the majority of his money through these worthless packages he sells. Of the other 3 companies that came to check our furnace all techs stated he's a sham and his employee turn over is through the ceiling. 1 tech had actually worked for him and advised we run the other way. He said all techs are REQUIRED to push these packages. Buyer beware! This business owner is after your money through odd means. If it comes up, we warn people to stay away!! This business is a financial joke and their reputation we found out later is less than shiny. There's plenty of HONEST repair out there. You don't need service packages. You need your system working. My toilet needed a new handle and flapper mechanism. Also, the shut off valve leaked. The parts for these fixers are inexpensive. I estimate about 30 minutes of work. Yet they asked over $600 for the repairs. This was too expensive. I paid the "visit fee" and asked them to leave. The only positives were the quick and courteous response to my call. read more

Furnace was not working called Williams, they came out a few hours later. Told $99 on phone for tech to look at it and give me a price to repair, I agreed to it. Tech gets there and has furnace running within 15 mins, he found water in a pressure sensor. After it is running he says this is where he has to stop and I would have to pay $295 to get a definite diagnosis of problem and cost. I explained to him what was told on phone, which was $99 and he would tell me what was wrong and price to fix. He said the phone ppl have made this same mistake in past and do not tell anyone about the $295 diagnosis fee. I said I did not want to proceed all while he tried to get me to join a maintenance program they offer. He left I called another HVAC company who came out for $75 they found the same issue and stated what they thought was causing it. I paid $75 and the parts and now it is up and running again. It took 2nd tech less than 15 mins to diagnose and what he suspected caused it. Sure enough that is what it was. Be careful using Williams there prices are higher which you find after they get there and do not mistake $99 for a fee to diagnose it, it is actually a dispatch fee. I will never use this company again. Read other reviews here and see if others have had the same issue. Although bad experience it was not the techs fault it is a lack of communication . In the two months since Mike Williams installed my systems, they have now returned FIVE TIMES to fix constant issues. I had two split systems installed, a furnace, a new AC unit, and a hot water heater. Nothing but constant issues so far. Making matters worse, on the last "Fix" which didn't fix the issue, the technician was working outside with an outdoor breaker box. It wasn't until a day after they left that I realized they didn't put the cover back on the box. Had it rained outside, there was a very good chance of an electrical fire or a destroyed (and expensive) breaker box. The issues I've had still haven't been resolved and the last technician literally asked me if I knew where certain components were located (The PCB Boards on my dual split-system). Ummm.... that's not my job, that's their job. On top of it, there is a water stain on one of my ceilings from an improperly installed line that was causing condensation build-up. Absolutely NOTHING but issues. The one shining light has been the technician Clint who has been super professional when being sent out to re-evaluate stuff that has gone wrong and to fix some of the issues and troubleshoot everything. read more

This place is a joke. I used them and wrote them off shortly after. My son is a new homeowner and only chose them because they were the only place that could come out "today". Once he talked to me he realized his mistake. He called the guy who left for the part. Even though he, himself, had already diagnosed the problem. They still charged him a $250 restocking fee on a $105 part. Total BS. They pull you in with their half price service call and then change you double for everything else. read more

Unreliable. Monthly fee charged but can't be trusted to show up for appointments. Canceled twice after waiting 6 hours for tech. Finally tech came for six month maintenance check and less than a week later the a/c unit isn't working without any notice service concerns on a 6 year old unit. Called 3 times last night for emergency service and was promised a tech would call shortly. Didn't receive a response until 7:30 the following morning. Exterior temperature 95 degrees, interior 84 and they still can't tell me if they can make an appointment today. A complete waste of money. read more

Unethical mark ups on parts and labor. For a furnace igniter that costs $25 and less than half hour labor I was quoted over $700. For a furnace motor that cost $182 and another half hour of labor I was quoted over $1100. Called another company and got all this done for less than $400. I understand that this is a business you need to make money. But this amount of mark up is "the worst case of price gouging I have ever seen" to quote the insurance agent for my home owners warranty. You have me stuck for 6 months with your maintenance program, trust me that $99 is the only money you will be getting out of me. read more

I hate to be one of those people but I would give them zero stars if I could. My husband and I needed some plumbing done for a new dishwasher. Our house has never had a dishwasher. We had already made a space for the dishwasher, the dishwasher in place and had the electrician come and do the electrical work. We had called several places to ask how much it would cost and were told that it cost between 300 to 450 but no one could guarantee ,since they could not see it which makes sense. When my husband called Mike Williams they told us that they could not give an estimate but that it would be 99 to send a plumber out and he could give us an estimate and then complete the work. The biggest selling point for us was they would send someone out to complete the work the next day. The next day the office called and confirmed our appointment and stated the plumber would call approximately 30 minutes before he arrived. The day went on with no plumber at approximately 3pm the plumber called to say he was on his way. He arrived shortly later and proceeded to spend 30 minutes writing up an estimate which was 1200 if we enrolled in their monthly subscription service which is 20 dollars a month and you must subscribe for at least 6 months. If we did not subscribe it would cost 2500 and he would not be able to complete the work until Monday because it was so late in the day his supply house had closed. Needless to say we gave him 99 dollars FOR AN ESTIMATE and sent him on his way.. The next day we called a different company who completed the work for 350. A couple days later, we received a letter from Mike Williams asking why we did not choose them for the work and have a 5 star experience. So we thought before we got on here and trashed them we would give them a chance to make up for it , My husband called the number on the letter which no one picked up it was lunch time when he called so he left a message in which he calmly stated he would like to speak to them about why we did not have 5 star experience. It has been over a week and they have not bothered to call us back so needless to say DO NOT USE MIKE WILLIAMS They just plan to charge you 99 to do nothing but drive to your house. read more

Beware of this company's quoting system. They had the nerve to sell me a quote for 69.95. We were not in an emergency and we called to have a Drop standard 22" by 33" kitchen sink. We are talking about a standard kitchen sink. That needs nothing special than stand install equipment. We already purchase the sink from Lewis and ordered nice garbage disposal. So we may need PVC replacement pipes which should cost no more than 50.00 with a plumber Equipment uplift fee. A QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH FOR GENERAL PRICING ON A INSTALL. Will give you a general cost with a break down of why. The cost should be anywhere from 250 to 700 on the high end due to a special reason. And that would be for special cutting or fitting. Will can you guess there quote. Will it was over 2000.00 for them to install a sink I already owned, garbage disposal I already purchased. Then they offered me a monthly maintenance plan I can save a percentage now if I take it to 6 months. Bringing the quote down to 17xx.00. What a joke .then he offered to take payments. Used coupon for furnace check and cleaning ($80). Replaced blower capacitor for $300 ($10 part that takes literally 5 minutes to replace). Induced my wife to sign a service contract $(100). Felt service was very over priced. Technician covered furnace with decals and intentionally covered up names of other companies that serviced the unit. If there was a "zero" star option I would have chosen that! This company is a poor example of customer service. I'm a fairly new customer to them. I had them come out to inspect my furnance in early October and at that time I signed up for their $99/year safety inspection. During that visit I received good service with them. Well tonight my furnace stopped working and I called the emergency after hours number on their website. The gentleman who answered was nice and took my information, quoted me $149.95 emergency after hours fee, and promised to have the on call technician call me back. Well over and hour later I still had yet to hear from the on call technician. I called yet again the emergency after hours number and spoke with a nice woman who again took down my information and promised to have an on call technician call me. Well about five minutes later a different woman called me back. She said she actually worked for Mike Williams and said that because this after hours emergency was after 10 pm it was going to be $220.95!!!! I tried to explain to this woman that I called the emergency after hours number over an hour ago and was waiting for the on call technician to call me back plus that wasn't the price that I was quoted by their after hours emergency representative. She then proceeded to tell me that the after hours representatives did not work for Mike Williams SHE DID!! She also proceeded to tell me that I would have to give her a valid credit card number up front before she would even call the on call technician who was in bed sleeping like she was! This Mike Williams employee was VERY RUDE and inconsiderate to a new customer. I'm quite disappointed by this company, their employee, and their service! I scheduled routine maintenance on our heating system. I rarely have a day off during the week so I scheduled an appointment for one particular day that I did have off. I waited around all day to find out that they were too busy to keep my appointment. So even though I had an appointment, they couldn't keep their end of the bargain and actually come out after I waited around at home all day for them to come. Called this company to get a dishwasher installed. The installer quoted me over $900 to install it because he had to go through one cabinet in order to reconnect the hoses on the new dishwasher. After the discount they company supposedly offers after you agree to the monthly maintenance service I still ended up paying over $750 for a service that took no more than an hour. After it was all said and done, the installer used ONE single screw to keep the dishwasher in place instead of the two that came with the dishwasher and were needed. A month later, that one screw came out and now the dishwasher comes out of place every time the door is open and needs to be pushed in after loading. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN FOR ANYTHING ! read more
