Very disappointed. I've been a loyal customer of this company for over 20 years and never had an issue until now. Our water heater went out, and on April 15, 2026, Bently installed the replacement. During the installation, my husband and a friend witnessed the stairs being damaged as the dolly was taken down. They immediately told Bently, who said he would inform his boss and follow up. We never heard back. My husband called several times with no return call. I called on 4/27 and spoke with Patrick, who added me to Shawn Ogborn's call list. No response. I called again on 5/27 -- added to the call list again. Called on July 1 -- same thing. I finally received a call at 7:07 PM on 7/1, but missed it. I called back the next morning and was placed on the call list yet again. Shawn finally called on 7/8 and asked for pictures of the damage. I sent multiple photos and a video. Shawn later claimed the damage was "normal wear and tear," insisted Bently used a tarp, and stated my husband never mentioned the issue -- which is simply not true. We had the stairs replaced with real wood last June, and they were in perfect condition. Another witness also saw the damage occur and heard the conversation with Bently. It's clear they have no intention of repairing the stairs. Something this minor could easily be handled through insurance, yet my 20 years of loyalty meant nothing. I support local, family‑owned businesses, but this company has shown they value money over long‑term customers. I was dismissed, disrespected, and essentially accused of lying before being hung up on. Truly disappointing. read more

Poor experience. The work was fine, but the customer service was very, very poor. I paid on date of service, but 2 weeks later received an additional bill for over $100 due to the plumber forgetting something on the first bill. When I called to ask about this, the owner explained it was for a part that cost that much - however, the plumber had quoted it at $80 when he was installing it. At no point were prices clearly communicated for parts or labor. Apparently, they start billing you as soon as they start driving from their previous client - which I have no control over how far away that is. The plumber complained under his breath during most of the appointment and never introduced himself to me. The owner shrugged me off when I called and asked for more transparency in pricing moving forward. Would not recommend. read more

Needed a spigot replaced in my garage and was very impressed!! They had the pipe cut,threaded, and sweat in 45 min! Reasonable price overall. Only issue was a little mud from boots was left on my basement carpet. Would highly recommend but next time ask them to check their boots! read more

We had a water main break in our front lawn a week into owning our new home last fall. Very responsive! They were at the home within an hour to handle the emergency of the spewing water since it was later into the evening ( and we still needed to have Julie out to map out any wiring in the ground) and back first thing in the morning to dig the trenches to find the issue- hole in the pipe. Replaced it and had water back on in under 18 hours total. The bill was what I would expect for emergency services and fair. VERY PLEASED and grateful to them. Thank you! read more

Had sewer back up, was told $210.00 to run snake through clean out. They then charged $575.00. Called the owner and he said it is $115/hr Per worker. Was never told this! And the problem was not fixed. They took my toilet off and left it and they filled my washing machine and left it full. They basically assured that I would have to call then back to fix the issue. They came back, ran camera, was supposed to discuss solutions with me, never did. Proceeded to jet the line, that finally unclogged it. they charged me for 14.5 hours and they were only here from 9 am until 1 pm (3 guys) also, they wanted me to sign off on the job but the paperwork had NO prices on it, they said they would send me a bill in the mail, I said I would not sign until I could see the charges. They went out in my driveway to call the "boss" and charged me for that time!!!! What??? Never again! read more

They fixed the issue but padded the time they charged by a lot. At one point, they charged an hour for a 15-minute task.

I needed a quick fix on a leak at the valve near the street of my house. I called Ogborn and they sent Josh Keller and a young man named Preston over that same afternoon. These two men hand dug the hole to get to the leak, fixed it and covered the hole back in at about 3-4hours time. This was a great relief to me and they should be recognized. I haven't got the bill yet but I'm sure it will be fair and again the service was great. Will definitely recommend read more
