A representative came dressed in uniform with a car that has the company's name logo on it. He carried a tool box and seemed legit. He checked the oven and gave us a diagnosis than he told us he needed a check for the visit and to order the needed parts to fix the stove. We gave him a check and never saw him again. We expected him to come and we still looking for him. He never answered his phone number and he had cashed the check the same day he received it. I called the company which call itself Patriot Appliance and this guy Randy told me that his company has been out of business for over a year and he didn't know who did that..he gave me confusing information about the business and its current status and also about the situation. After he said he had spoke to the guy who we had been trying to reach for days and again he gave me some confusing info on him and why he has not answered our calls.. We have contacted the police and are in proceeds to take this to small court. Buyer be aware this is a scam company anyone representing this company is a scam artist including this Randy character and his partner who goes by the name of Dan Hunt!!! Do not give ur money to these people they will run and u will never see them again!! I hope we can get to the bottom of this!!!!

Chris came out to my house on March 6th to repair what appeared to be a clogged drain on my refrigerator, which was causing water to leak out onto the kitchen floor. When he and his assistant arrived, it quickly became apparent that I understood how to access the drain better than them thanks to a video a woman had posted online, showing a similar issue with a refrigerator much like mine. After some work, they felt the problem was most likely fixed and charged me just the standard diagnostic fee. He told me that if it leaked again to call him, and he would look into replacing the drain pan. During this visit, he for some reason thought I had told him that I had found this refrigerator on the side of the road. I made it very clear that this was both absurd and incorrect. This refrigerator was purchased new from Lowe's, who delivered and installed it. Ten days after his service call, there was water on the kitchen floor again. I called and left a message as well as sending a text. After not receiving a response, I continued to call and text for over a month. I then discovered a large amount of water had leaked into my basement and damaged items stored there. I contacted him again with this new information. When this still didn't elicit a response, I contacted another appliance repair company. This new company came out and found that the issue had never been the drain but rather a leaking feed line for the water dispenser and ice maker. They were able to quickly fix this and put an end to further water damage. I left one more message for Chris informing him of the result and advising that he respond ASAP or I would leave this review and consider legal action. THIS time he texted back almost immediately with the message; "Company closed and I moved to Florida bud. Glad you got it sorted out. Have a nice day". After receiving this message, a call was made from a number unknown to him regarding a quote for work and was responded to right away. Obviously he is neither out of business nor living in Florida. This proved that he not only has zero concern about responding to paying customers with ongoing issues, but also has no qualms about lying to avoid taking responsibility. Don't be fooled by all of this company's 5 Star reviews. There are far better options out there.

I asked him to text me a repair quote that evening so I could share it with my spouse. That quote never came. I texted him on Tuesday and got no reply. I called on Wednesday but it's a "virtual phone assistant" and there's no way to talk to a real person. I texted again that same Wednesday and still did not get a response. Eventually I called a different company to come do the repair.
