Cut to now, July '25, and we called again. Vince actually remembered us and the job we were asking for! He (and Jacob) just finished the work today and everything was just spot on. Great service! I called on Weds to see about getting a quote for hanging a huge storage rack in…read morethe garage and fixing a dryer duct. Steve was able to send two people the next day. It turns out the dryer duct was fine so I gave them another small job to go with hanging the storage rack. Of course something always has to go wrong and in my case they hit metal when going into my garage ceiling. Being fearful of why there was metal at that specific spot in the ceiling, they proceeded very cautiously. I authorized them to cut an inspection hole in the ceiling to see what it was. Come to find out it was a steel beam! Well, now that they knew what it was, there was no issue completing the job and doing an excellent job patching the inspection hole as well. Well done! Perhaps not the cheapest guys in town but you get what you pay for and I will definitely use them again.

I had the opporrunity in February of 26 after a two week long freeze…read more I have a 175 year old house in Clayron, due to the cold i had plumbing issues thinking my pipes froze in my upstairs. I called Plumbing Masters , my phone call was answered by Matt about 9 am. He had three or four calls ahead of me but said he would be here by the end of the day. My upstairs bathroom which is over my kitchen was leaking down over my stove. Even shutting off the water to the house didnt stop the water from coming down over my recent ( and very expensive) kitchen remodel. Matt texted me that he was on his way in mid afternoon and showed up much faster than I has expected. We met on my front porch and as soon as he entered my foyer Matt slipped on shoe coverings, I was very impressed. Matt assessed the situation and went right to work and explained how much this was going to cost. Turns out I needed both my tub and toilet " snaked" since they both didnt share the same draining system and ai needed my toilet upstairs disconnected ans connected as a part of getting my project done. I still think it's BS that they would do any work without giving an estimate first but at least the customer service was decent. They offered to refund but since they did the work we don't feel right taking the refund. We just would have appreciated being asked for approval to do the work in the first place. We asked Rays and Sons to come out for an estimate. They came out. Said they'd be back in a week. In that time we NEVER got an estimate so we thought they were coming back to look into it further/troubleshoot a problem and then give an estimate. Nope. They came back out (again, never gave an estimate), did some minor work that looked more like troubleshooting to find out what the work was going to be and then give an estimate. Instead we were hit with a $400 bill for barely any work! Absolutely ridiculous. No way in hell we will ever use them again. This is the second time we've called them for something. The first time seemed pricey but it was work we needed done immediately and didn't have time to look around for a better option. Listen to me when I say take the time and find someone else!

I hired Skyes plumbing the unclog my kitchen sink, which hadn't been draining for several days…read more They were the third company I contacted for an estimate via Yelp, and their was the only price that seemed reasonable to me (about 25% of the cost quoted by Roto Rooter, to give you a sense of the difference). James and his assistant (I forget his name) arrived the same day and were communicative via text, letting me know when he left the previous job and was on the way to my house. He worked efficiently and answered all of my questions. He even gave me some pointers about how to clear the clog myself in the future, if it happened again. It took them about 30 minutes to clear the clog and they took their time checking that it was gone for good. Given the COVID pandemic I asked them to wear masks and they did without hesitation; James said this is their policy anyway. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite throughout the whole service call. I will definitely keep them in mind if I have future plumbing problems. Highly recommend.
