I called and spoke with Jeff Senior and had an appointment for the next day. Jeff Junior arrived and informed me my Backflow Assembly was not testable and since it was installed in 2016 before non-testable Backflow Assembly was banned, I was grandfathered in from requiring yearly testing. However, my Backflow Assembly is required to be replaced every 5 years. Jeff replaced my Backflow Assembly the next day in less than an hour. The quality of the work and replacement Assembly was excellent. Throughout the entire process, both Jeff senior and junior answered all my questions and explained things clearly. I will continue using Anne Arundel Plumbing for all my future needs because of their excellent service, competency and rates.

Fortunately, there is a drain in the basement, but it was not able to keep up with/ the volume of water. I was able to isolate the problem and it drained within 20 minutes or so. I haven't called on them for plumbing service, but their heating & A/C people know their stuff. When I've called them to fix my A/C, they've not only fixed my main problem, but have also done other little fixes (e.g., replace a section of insulated ductwork that had a hole in it) or give helpful tips (e.g., use this type of furnace filter, not this other type). Like any home service company, they can get backed up during "crunch" times. If you're calling them because your A/C broke on the first 90-degree day of the year, you're going to wait a few days. In general, though, they're not going to leave you hanging, especially for routine repair work. Their prices are reasonable, though, and their people are knowledgeable - qualities you want when it's someone working on your home.

I called Plumbing Masters , my phone call was answered by Matt about 9 am. He had three or four calls ahead of me but said he would be here by the end of the day. My upstairs bathroom which is over my kitchen was leaking down over my stove. Even shutting off the water to the house didnt stop the water from coming down over my recent ( and very expensive) kitchen remodel. I asked how much the pump would be (120v) and was told around $200.00. Thats parts not including labor. Much to my surprise the bill came to $2400.00 and some change. When I asked for a receipt the office lady just stated they charge by the job, didnt have a break out and couldn't get me one. So pump and two hours cost $2400.00. Would not recommend.
