Tony was hired to replace a bladder tank for the well water system in my home. First, he attempted…read moreto install a tank that was half the size of the previous tank, and would not have been viable for the size of my home. When he was approached about this concern, he became very defensive and said things like "I know what I'm doing" "I've been doing this for 40 years" "do you know I'm the only 5 star rated plumbing company in Maryland?". After more requests and research, we asked Tony to install the same size tank as was there before. Tony then said the price was going up $300-$400. When he returned and installed the correct size tank, he gave the new price, which was now $500 more than the original price. The correct size tank costs $100 more than the (half sized) 20 gallon tank he attempted to install in the first place. When asked why the price went up so much, Tony became very disrespectful and raised his voice and attempted to intimidate Me and my 78 year old grandmother. My grandmother handed him the $1350 check, obviously intimidated by this man, and he went on his way. I would not recommend this rip off artist to my worst enemy. I would give him 0 stars if I could.
