Bottom Line: Professional, friendly, transparent and reliable plumbing services. I was building a wet bar and I needed to route plumbing to the area for a bar sink and ice maker from an adjacent bathroom. I decided I was going to contract this work out and I found Alpha Plumbing on Yelp. Alpha was able to come out quickly and assess the work to be done and they subsequently provided me the quote. My job required a total of three trips to the house - the first for the assessment, the second for the rough-in and the third for the final plumbing hookup. All three appointments were easy to schedule and the plumber, Brian, was on time, professional, transparent and respectful of me and my home. Brian would notify me when he was on his way and wore a mask while in my house. He was very efficient with his efforts and effectively communicated what he was going to do and how long he expected it to take. The project tuned out terrific! Shout out to Bob too! Coincidentally, the day after my wet bar job was complete I had a non-related plumbing issue and Alpha Plumbing quickly dispatched a plumber to my house which had four gurgling, bubbling, spewing and "geysering" toilets making a mess of the bathroom. (Turns out the county failed to notify my community of their plans to violently flush the sewer lines.) Once again the plumber, Liam, was super friendly, respectful and knowledgeable and called me when he was on his way. My experience with Alpha Plumbing was wonderful! During the course of my project and fake-emergency I communicated with John, Lorraine, Liam, Brian and Bob and everyone was so incredibly awesome and exemplary in their execution. What an awesome company! I had an emergency sewer backup and flooding in my basement on Monday. Alpha Plumbing was able to have someone come to my house within only a few hours of my initial phone call. Brian and Billy diagnosed the problem immediately upon arrival. Really nice guys. Nice people but they didn't get the job done and took my money. It was hard to get on schedule with them because they work only M-F business hours. They replaced shower handles but then 3 months later the handles became loose and water wasn't flowing out properly. It makes a loud vibrating noise and water doesn't come out at all unless you play around with it a few times. I finally got them to come back to check it out and they only told me that to correct the problem I simply needed to turn the handles in "a fluid motion." Imagine that? I was turning the handles incorrectly and that was the problem? I had fun telling people that story. Well the problem persists even after turning the handles fluidly. So now I need to find someone else who can actually fix it. Good luck if you go with them. I really wanted to like them because they seemed like nice people and they were reasonably priced, but ultimately it comes down to fixing the problem. And they unfortunately failed to deliver. read more

I can't tell you how incredibly grateful I am for this company! My elderly mother was having a sewage backup problem and was so worried that it was going to cost way more than she could afford to pay. The techs came in and were able to clear the roots out and suggest a solution that buys us some time with the bigger issue. Jamie & Billy were great and if I could get them a raise I would!! My mom literally cried with relief (and so did I). Pros: Their service was extremely responsive and professional. Cons: The cost to replace a leaking faucet was an astronomical $670. This was a standard kitchen gooseneck that they should have carried in their truck. They billed me for time to go buy the replacement faucet which was fine, but first they went to a specialty store and sent me a sky high price. I had them go to home depot for a more reasonable price, and was charged for both trips. Excellent work, extremely professional, but I am still recovering from this financial blow. read more

We were introduced to Alpha Plumbing in 2010 when we moved into our house. They have put in a gas line for our stove. Fixed a leak on one of our toilets. Put in a water line for our new refrigerator. They've fixed water line under our stink and fixed broken pipes! Recently, our water heater went out and they came and replaced it the next day, so we could have hot water. All the guys are so polite and efficient. They've also done work on my other house. They are my go to plumbing company by far. read more

It was possible the job might have to be done in two installments. I got a quote which included a trip charge of not $100, 200 or 300, but $600! I contacted the owner, stating my opinion - that the charge was excessive - but apparently he didn't have the time or interest to respond and discuss it. You guys we're absolutely AMAZING!! I really didn't think having a total sewer line replacement was going to be so easy!! You guys showed up within 24 hours of my call for an estimate and less then another 24 hours permits were pulled and my total sewer line was replaced!! Chuck did an excellent job of evaluating my problem, explaining our fix, and giving me a VERY FAIR estimate for my expensive job! You guys went above and beyond and didn't try to overcharge or rip us off. It's Very hard to find a good honest company that does excellent work and doesn't try to take advantage of you in an emergency situation!! I called 3 other common name plumbing companies for an estimate of my job. Two companies tried to charge me $1k-$1,500 more then Alpha Plumbing and the 3rd company said it cost $59 FOR AN ESTIMATE!! Since when does an estimate COST money?? I already knew what the problem was, I have had a large belly in my sewer line for years that along with all the rain created a HUGE sinkhole in my yard (or so I thought that was my only problem) that was trying to take my blacktop driveway down with it! When Chuck came out for the estimate he was very thorough and said he believes something else was going on, along with the belly in my line. The other 2 companies said NOTHING about an additional cause to my sinkhole! Chuck said when they dig to replace the line they will investigate Chuck's hunch on my additional problem. My husband was outside with them while they were doing the work, and Chuck was RIGHT we did have another problem A HUGE ONE! There was a dry well the previous owners blacktopped over in the driveway and it had collapsed. There was a huge 3ft wide X 3ft DEEP hollow space under the driveway and was a true miracle that the blacktop didn't collapse into the hollow space and take the car or one of my children with it! I can't say thank you enough to Chuck and Alpha Plumbing for there thoroughness, honesty, knowledge and quick response! I will definitely recommend Alpha Plumbing to all of my friends and family! (Already gave your number to the neighbor two doors down). Alpha Plumbing is the company you should call in your time of need! I'm so glad I did! Forgot to mention they installed an additional clean out in the front yard free of charge. And there is a 10 year warranty/guarantee on my new sewer line. read more

I would highly recommend Alpha Plumbing . They came out to snake our sewer line for tree roots . They gave a curtesy call to inform they were in route to my home . Both techs were friendly . The work was done in a timely manner . One tech even gave suggestions on what I can do to same money in the future. Basic plumbing needs were fulfilled on a short notice. Needed dishwasher supply line replaced and they came right out next day and replaced it within 30 minutes. Also the guy was quickly able to show me why the pressure in the house was low and fixed that while he was here. Now I can run the dish washer and take more enjoyable showers.
