He mentioned they may only be able to do the consultation since they had another job, so from the very start I felt like we were receiving rushed service. Dan and his apprentice spent a little less than an hour knocking holes in our drywall (in one closet he just started hitting the wall with a hammer) only to make his way up to the attic to tell me we had a roof leak. As I had mentioned in my original consultation, this was in fact a vent pipe leak that I would have been happy to pay to have addressed. Instead, we went through two roof consultations before I crawled up in the attic and fixed the vent pipe myself. I tried to reach out to Dan to let him know this was actually a plumbing issue and received no response. We found TNT through one of the Yelp project requests and I deeply regret choosing them as opposed to some of our other options. Between the price paid, the lazy investigation of the pipe, and the lack of response when I reached out to have the situation rectified, I am seriously disappointed with their service.

Based on the hours worked, I do feel like I was way overcharged and the lack of a detailed invoice may allow them to charge whatever they want at their discretion. My error was not scrutinizing from the beginning because I just wanted the work done. Lesson learned for me but proceed with caution.

Water was suppose to flo out into a bucket to properly do backflo. I watched the Alpha plumber do the backflo and he never put water into a bucket as part of the backflo process. I had another plumber come and tell me that alpha plumbing could nothave ever done the backflo without the three brackets attached. The second plumber attached the brackets. Jeff Junior arrived and informed me my Backflow Assembly was not testable and since it was installed in 2016 before non-testable Backflow Assembly was banned, I was grandfathered in from requiring yearly testing. However, my Backflow Assembly is required to be replaced every 5 years. Jeff replaced my Backflow Assembly the next day in less than an hour.
